Not that it matters, but no one was near me when I took my shot. If I had seen him, I would have 5'step to avoid the AoO. Probably a Pbp thing. No worries though.

The bug teleported right next to you Wisp, and that's where the token was put on the map. No 5' step would have taken you out of its reach so I assumed that's why you just went for an attack. Maybe your Slides didn't update? I find Google does that sometimes, maybe the browser or the slides app needs refreshing.

Brady punched the bejeezus out of the thing though and it fled, so no bother :)

The Waking Rune

We are nearing the end now folks -

Can you let me have your PFS details for chronicle sheets and reporting, please, including day job rolls if you have them?

Before finishing up we'll also need to resolve Shayna's death / raise dead.

Redelia said that you can also roll Boons since this was a Gameday game: a d20 result of 19 or 20 qualifies, and I think you'll also need to roll a d3 if you get lucky :)

That's how I rule it, as I have read the rules, and generally don't like to argue about rules at a table, unless it's absolutely necessary or cheating is suspected.

I hope you recognize that I'm only bringing this up after the fact, and only because I happened to run across a documented rule about the situation; I wasn't even looking for this rule. I didn't challenge things when it happened in game, and wasn't looking to create an argument. Just sharing what I found and learned.

Taken entirely in the spirit intended, and thank you.

I would have had to have that cultist Bull Rush Brady - and though they do have Improved Bull Rush success was not guaranteed.

I've reviewed the battle to see if my error affected Shayna's death, and it doesn't look like it did. That part of the exchange with the cult soldiers occurred before Shayna had left her room.

Oooooooh, group friction! This is kinda fun. Sad it took this long though, but there have been a few hiccups.

This has been fun though!

The Waking Rune

Two votes for leaving the Razmiri prisoners be - one more and I'll consider that the group's decision and wrap things up from there.

The Waking Rune

Okay, you made it back!

Firstly, Success Conditions:

Your primary mission is to rescue the dwarven emissaries. Getting at least one of them back to Mendev earns you 1PP.

Your secondary success condition requires success at two out of these three things (each of which helps to limit the Razmiri's efforts to identify and track you): convince the three Grymble sisters of any reasonable cover story, prevent Holy Ahendile from getting away, and prevent the accuser devil from getting away (the bug-child monster). Now, I'll invoke the "creative solutions" clause to give you a tick on the second of those three, because you spared Ahendile and her men when you could have killed them all and I think that would count for something with her. But, you failed at both the other two secondary objectives. It's actually relatively hard to succeed at two out of three. The old ladies are totally non-combatant, but they are Razmiri agents and they are really quite good at Bluff and Sense Motive. Your former GM indicated here in a Sense Motive spoiler that you hadn't managed to convince the inn-keepers. The accuser devil has a morale limit (low hp) at which it 'bugs out' badoom-tish via Greater Teleport (or Invisibility, or just flying really fast) so you need a bit of luck to kill it off.

So you rewards are 1XP, 1PP and 1854GP, Out of Tier gold (if you're level 2 or 3) is 1184GP.

There are also a few conditional boons on the Chronicle, but the Chronicle Sheet doesn't always explain the conditionality.

"Crisis Averted" is Grand Lodge only, and requires that both the Primary and Secondary Success conditions are met (boon doesn't seem to do anything though).

"Expanding Trade Network" is Exchange only; you chose Passad twice and Raugr once, so Passad is recorded as your ally. (This is a nice little boon, +2 to day job rolls).

"News of the Diamond Sage" is Scarab Sage only. The dwarf mystic will tell Scarab Sages that the Diamond Sage was last seen in Azir.

A reminder of Raise and Restoration costs:

Raise Dead costs 16 PP, or 5,450 gp, or 8 PP and 2,450 gp. The body has to be present. PCs are allowed to pool Gold but not PP to pay for anyone's Raise. A Raised PC is left with two permanent negative levels. These can be removed by Restoration spells. A Restoration to remove one permanent negative level costs 4PP or 1280gp; again other PCs can help with gold but not PP. You don't need to remove both negative levels before you can play again.

Shayna, which option are you going for?

Everyone else if you are willing and able, what do you wish to contribute?

Scarab Sages

Male Wayang Aerokineticist 4 | 34/39 HP {8 NL}; AC 18(T:15/ F:15) F+8/R+7/W+1 ; Init +5; Perception +9 (darkvision 60 ft.) | 20% (or better) miss chance from physical ranged attacks

I can toss in 500 toward the cause.

Grand Lodge

female human swashbuckler(rondelero) 3 HP 28/28, AC 22, T 16, FF 16, F +3, R +8, W +4, Init +6(+8), Perc +7

i'll spend 8 pp and the gp to be raised... and 4 pp to remove a negative lvl...if the others can cover the other neg lvl that would be great, bit don't feel obligated to do it...

The Waking Rune

Shayna's total costs will be 3730gp and 12PP then.

500GP from Wisp, plus any other contributions...

Kra'ak will offer 1k into the fund. He has some concept of money, but not too much. Besides, it helps his friend, and he's still fairly early in his career.

Plus, more GM credits will be getting put on the kobold soon.

shouldn't the cost be 12 pp and 2450?

The Waking Rune

I added in the cost of the second Restoration, Shayna, just to show the total that would need to be covered including any donations.

You're also able to carry a permanent negative level, and get it removed at a later time, if you prefer.

Grand Lodge

female human swashbuckler(rondelero) 3 HP 28/28, AC 22, T 16, FF 16, F +3, R +8, W +4, Init +6(+8), Perc +7

ahh...i misunderstood...so if the guys can cover one of the neg levels i can get the rest...

The Waking Rune

Well, you've been offered a total of 2000gp so far. 1 Restoration is 1280gp :)

The Waking Rune

I'll get the chronicles done and report the game once we've heard from Brady regarding any contribution to Shayna's expenses.

I'd like to say now though that you've been a pleasure to GM. You used your posts to move the game along and you took adversity and GM error with good humour. Hit me up any time you need a rescue in the future :)

Sorry, Brady was specifically built as a mooch or wook (depending on what subcultures you're exposed to, those may or may not make sense); it wouldn't be in-character for him to contribute to Shayna's expenses.

I'll have to have him pass.

The Waking Rune

I should have the chronicles done and game reported before the end of the weekend at the latest. Certainly in plenty of time for Outpost.
