Dorm Argun

Hehe, well. It's good not to surprise them, lest they reject *you* at the pickup.

The Lamplighter arrives overhead shortly after the crabs are taken care of. For once the perpetual storm that cloaks the planet seems to be cutting you some slack, or maybe it is as anxious for you to leave as you are.
The ship uses its thrusters to clear a section of the jungle and lowers a boarding ramp for you to evacuate Iski. "Take what you can, but lets not wait around" says the captain. "Sensors show that storm coming back, we only have about ten minutes.
Once aboard captain Tynda offers you food, bed and a sickbay... although Blinky seems to have managed to keep you all remarkably well. She does however suggest an extended time in the bathing facilities.
"[b]Care to fill me in on what happened?" she asks.
Argiss Calinox

Argiss drags the dead crab still in the pincers of his capture pole aboard, after him.
"You aren't kidding. Let us get in the air before you are waiting for the next rescue with us." Argiss looks back wistfully, then hauls his bounty in.
I will be back one day! For Science!
Argiss makes himself at home as he quickly greets the Science Officer by setting up his own instruments in their area. He works on studying his finds instead of cleaning up, until the Captain Tynda wants to ask questions. He quickly runs out to the bridge.
"Oh yes! Either I am terrible at running scans or those storms are not completely natural, I opt for the latter. Crashing isn't as exciting as what we found down there...the whole planet seems to be purpose built or monitored for the advanced evolution of species. We found a facility that was keeping records of the...I believe one of my companions called it a Genetic Arms Race...I like that...and our presence apparently restarted the cycle of evolution. Just like this crab creature that repurposed the hull of our...poor ship...to make itself more durable." he says nudging her towards the space he created. He continues talking fairly non-stop unaware of anything else.
Cavaler Traleth

Cavaler sprints straight up the ship's ramp and into its bathing facilities without even taking one look back.
Blinky 'Bamboozle' Bluegum

"Pretty much what Argiss said, this planet hates"
Emerald Cerulean Gold

I am not certain attributing emotion to natural forces is correct, Emerald conveys to the captain. It was artificially induced. But to say the experiment hates would be like saying that Argiss hates living things.

Captain Tynda makes you more than comfortable... at least once you have gone through decontamination procedures.
The trip back to Absalom is very quick, and almost before you know it, you are back in the Lorespire complex where VC Arvin awaits you.
"I had no idea we were sending you into a deathtrap. I guess that comes with the territory. But now we know a lot more about Iski—like not to go back there unprepared! The creatures you had to face were dangerous enough; I don’t even want to contemplate what they’ll be like the next time we see them,” he says finally, shrugging his shoulders. “Here’s hoping we never find out.”
Each of you also get a personal message from First Seeker Ehu Hadif. Or at least from his mail-bot.
"Please accept my thanks for the courage and dedication you showed on this most recent mission. I'm just sorry I can't deliver the thanks in person, but I am somewhat tied up with negotiations with the Veskarium."
And that is a wrap folk. Any last questions, sing out. Otherwise I'll close this down in a couple of days.
