Arghhh! Sorry, I missed that, GM, old eyes. I will change my action...
Ingrge will try to move thru the web to some area clear of it...
Escape Artist: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (16) + 18 = 34
Double move…

![]() |

I will use 1 round of the confusingly-named Liberation ability from my Liberation domain, granting me freedom of movement..
Calling upon the blessings of Milani, Adeah calmly walks out of the webbing, which seems to part before her as though afraid to hold her back. She loads a cartridge, raises her musket and fires.
Musket + Inspire Courage + good hope, touch: 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 14 + 2 + 2 = 30
Damage: 1d12 + 14 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 14 + 2 + 2 = 24

Unable to see through the strings what is happening Vailis just summons 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 augmented small fire elementals "This is going to hurt but it will free you Kyra"
Then in Ingean he commands the elementals "To burn the web strings and free the cleric, then you fight the evil vampire in the throne"
As they appear Coco disappears, and they start to slam around, burning as much 5' squares as they can with their burn ability.

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
"The vampire went invisible on us! I guess he decided we were too much for him!"
Jorgen casts a mirror image spelling himself and moves to where the vampire was last.
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
And maintaining inspire courage

Just in case Kyra isn't able to reveal him for whatever reason...
"That won't save you." Adeah squeezes her eyes shut, then opens them again. Vanyth appears as a translucent shape, easily targetable. "My mother was from the Astral Plane. I'm told I have her eyes." She raises her musket again.
Using my 1/day racial spell-like ability, see invisibility, which I have literally never used before. This fight is fun!

Moving forward, Kyra casts her spell, clearly revealing the vampire for Ingrge's shot!
Seeing the archer with clear shots, Vanyth moves up the ramp, ducking around the corner and disappearing from sight as the wall blocks Kyra's emanation.

UMD DC 20: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (19) + 20 = 39
Meanwhile the fire elementals continue burning the webs to nothingness.

"He's on the other side of the wall!" To point him out, Adeah squeezes the trigger.

Adeah rushes out of the room in pursuit, aiming her musket down at the fleeing figure. "Oh no you don't!"

I'll use the first attack and damage rolls from above as my single attack this round.

Jorgen taps Ingrge's shoulder and says, "I'm going to move you a little closer to the action. Don't worry, I'm pretty sure I won't accidently teleport you inside a wall or something."
Jorgen casts Jester's Jaunt to move Ingrge 30 ft. closer to where Adeah says the vampire has landed, hoping that he'll be able to spend more time shooting and less time running around. Continuing to inspire his allies, Jorgen rushes after the monk.
From looking at the map, I'm hoping that Ingrge will be able to take a five foot step and get a clear shot at the vampire. And remember, +2 to attack and damage from inspire courage and another +2 for inspire courage!

Adeah punches another bullet into the prone form of Vanyth where his leap left him in an ignoble position. Jorgen moves Ingrge closer to the last location of the vampire, as Vailis casts his wands spell in the area of Adeah's gunshot.

As Vailis finishes his wand movements a pale violet glow surrounds and outlines Vanyth, shedding light as a candle "Thanks Adeah! There you have him Ingrge!"

There is also a +2 morale bonus to attacks, damage (and saves and skills) from Good Hope. And everybody also gets one Moment of Greatness, where they can double the bonus from Good Hope. (some people used it against the web saving throw). Add in your bonuses! If you keep forgetting them, then I might as well have saved the spell slot!

I wasn't sure if good hope was still active, but yea that would add +2 damage to my attack.

Do Jorgen and Ingrge's arrows appear to do anything, or do they just pass right through? I don't want to use up cartridges if there's no noticeable effect.

Grandmaster TOZ |

As Ingrge continues to harry the translucent vampire with arrows, Vailis attempts to cut off the escape with walls of ice. Vanyth responds with scorching rays of fire to burn gaps in the walls, stymied by the summoners ability to restore the ice barrier each time. However, the arrival of a horde of rats quickly turns the tide against the summoner as the rats scratch through multiple times, opening just enough of a gap to allow the misty form to flee to the surface.
Dealing with the swarming vermin, the party gives chase across the multitude of islands, finally vanquishing the undead menace in his hidden lair. Returning to the town, the community of Whistledown hails you as heroes (though the fact that you are carting around a 400-year-old corpse of an Osirian concubine is a tad unsettling for most of them). Regardless, Adagre insists on throwing a festival in the Pathfinders honor, during which he proclaims you all Protectors of Whistledown.
Scenario complete! Chronicles should be up tonight or tomorrow.

Oh! Were we trying to meet some sort of deadline?

Grandmaster TOZ |

Sothis, throne of the pharaohs, and capital of Osirion, is a city rooted in ancient tradition. Of these, perhaps none is more sacred than funeral rites. As such, it came as no surprise when Venture-Captain Norden Balentiir invited you once again to Osirion’s capital for the funerals of three important figures who once played a significant role in their nation’s history—a powerful sorceress named Akila, a warrior-woman called Kamilah, and a lady smuggler known as Meskhenet the Wise. As you were involved with retrieving their remains, Balentiir celebrated your success and asked that you remain after the ceremony, while he continued to study these women in an effort to better understand their—and Osirion’s—past. Weeks passed, allowing you to rest from your recent exploits and enjoy the wondrous city of Sothis, but your vacation ended when Balentiir sent word, asking for your immediate counsel at the Pathfinder Lodge.
If there are any remaining purchases to be made, you have had time to do so.

![]() |

Vailis leaves the attention of this farmstead to attend the relevant Osiriani funerals. The half-elf dresses white and purple silken tunic but otherwise is ready with all his equipment, just in case. Seeing the rituals, the half-elf nods "A final and deserved end to these tormented souls. It is strange to think they died so long ago"
Coco observes the rare rituals with a researcher's curiosity, placing many questions to the Osiriani taking the lead on the rites.
The pathfinder is quick to attend Balentiir's call "What's it Venture Captain? Have you discovered anything new about the rings and other relics we recovered with the mummified remains?"

Kyra stays behind to help with the funeral ceremonies. She then receives her summons and heads to the lodge.
I'm ready to head out at a moment's notice...anything you guys think I should have prepared special for spells or keep the standard loadout?

Jorgen spends time in Sothis hanging out at the he local tea shops and hookah bars, practicing his Osiriani as he relaxes and enjoys time off in this big city.

I'm going to purchase a glove of storing so that, one way or another, my musket will always be in hand. Will also replenish my cartridge pouch.
When Adeah is recalled and rejoins the others, her signature weapon has vanished. However, a magical glove now adorns her right hand.

Grandmaster TOZ |

The main entrance to the Pathfinder Lodge passes through the double doors of an immense archway towering over the 12-foot-high exterior walls surrounding the grounds. The doors stand slightly ajar and unbarred, despite the late hour. Beyond the archway, torchlight illuminates the approach toward a natural garden of shade trees and undergrowth occupying much of the inner courtyard and blocking view of the lodge itself on the far side.

![]() |

Having spent time catching up with old friends and running a bit behind, Ingrge walks swiftly to the lodge to join his companions on the summons to the lodge.
"Greetings, my friends...I guess we'll soon be off again, it seems..."
Seeing Adeah has stepped up in fashion, Ingrge makes a sweeping bow in her direction. "Ah, m'Lady, stunning glove...does it have a function or are you making a fashion statement?"

![]() |

"Ah, I see you decided to sell that overly noisy device of yours and bout a fashionable piece of cloth" Vailis nods to Adeah and Ingrge as they arrive.
The half-elf self-sufficiently walks through the courtyard "I wonder we have been summoned at such a late hour"
Coco walks by his side "Most probably someone wrongly filled one of the chronicles, Master. Again" the eidolon casts a tired look at Vailis.

"Ah, m'Lady, stunning glove...does it have a function or are you making a fashion statement?"
"It does!" Adeah responds proudly, ignoring Vailis' maligning of her favorite weapon. She snaps her fingers; her musket materializes in her right hand, and she catches the barrel with her left. "I thought this was a much more convenient way to travel." She gestures with two fingers, and the musket vanishes into the glove with a soft swish. "Looks good on me, too, right?" she adds, allowing herself a bit of girlish pleasure as she admires the new accessory. It better. Cost more than half my savings.
"Anyway, what would you like to bet they want us to retrieve another ring?"

![]() |

Jorgen arrives late and yawns loudly as he stretches his arms to the sky. "Have you all been enjoying Sothis? I have been having a great time here. You can have a lot of fun here if you know where to look."
Barely pausing, he says "If not a ring, I bet he's got us fetching something else. What else would he want us for?"
