Fortitude: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Knowledge (arcana) vs DC 15: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23 (Perhaps special abilities would be appropriate?)
"Ouch!" Reginald yelps loudly. "What a rude phase spider! Though I don't believe I've ever heard of a polite one, so I suppose I shouldn't be that surprised." With a snap of his fingers, he calls forth divination magic that makes his eyes shine. "Cheeky blighters won't get the drop on us now! Um... Does anybody have any antitoxin? I don't feel so well..."
Moving to stand next to Ischell and Mist and casting see invisibility.
Robyyn
|
Fortitude: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Knowledge (arcana): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15
"Owwwwww!" the old man groans as the spider's fangs sink deep into his flesh, depositing who knows what unknown poison into his bloodstream. He quickly fishes around for a vial of antitoxin, drinking it quickly.
Move: retrieve antitoxin
Standard: drink antitoxin
| GM Elberion |
Reginald feels the sting of the poison as it weakens him.
strength damage: 1d2 ⇒ 2
Ethereal Ambush (Ex) A phase spider that attacks foes on the Material Plane in a surprise round can take a full round of actions if it begins the combat by phasing into the Material Plane from the Ethereal Plane.
Ethereal Jaunt (Su) A phase spider can shift from the Ethereal Plane to the Material Plane as a free action, and shift back again as a move action (or as part of a move action). The ability is otherwise identical to ethereal jaunt (CL 15th).
And now he can see them.
They are on the map as I assume that Reginald is narrating their location but only Reginald can see them.
Robyyn also feels weakened but hopes his medicine will boost his resistance to the toxin.
strength damage: 1d2 ⇒ 1
Mist the Tian Shapechanger
|
"Can they see invible creatures themselves?" Mist asks before flickering out of sight.
Swift action, Vanishing trick Invisibility: for 2 rounds
There is a soft whisper of unseen steel as she draws her Nodatchi and readies a strike should a foe appear within her reach.
Attack roll: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Aaftaab
|
Aaftaab is sad that he does not have Parvaaz at his side.
He readies to cast a spell as soon as he sees one of the spiders.
Casting Barbed Chains on the spider. If any of the below is a hit then Will save DC 14 or shaken for 1d4 ⇒ 4 rounds. CL 5 due to magical knack.

Castinus Fulvio
|
Castinus watches first the spiders, then Mist, disappear. "Dammit!"
Intending to prepare a strike upon the creatures the moment they emerge from their ethereal cover, he remains wary of the reach of their long, probing limbs. He steps 5' back towards the group, and swigs a concoction of his own design. At once his limbs elongate, and his rapier swishes through the air up to a full 10' from his body...

Only one spider appears this time, and she draws attacks from Ischell and Aaftaab.
Castinus, parry is triggered by an opponent attacking you. I will take that as you readying a standard to attack.
Ischell misses but both of the chains from Aaftaab's spell manage to strike the phase spider's exposed underbelly.

"You got it!" Robyyn calls as he retreats from the building.

Reginald Gerbin III
|
Fortitude: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
"I'm pretty sure they can attack you outside too!" Reginald calls after his retreating companions. "But if you stay close to each other, you can strike them back." With a grand gesture, the man begins to rise into the air and out of the reach of the land-bound spiders. "Now, the red one is over here, and the white one is over there - no, a little bit further to the left... yes, right there!"
Standard action to activate Flight Hex (2/5 minutes used) and move action to ascend 25 ft straight up. He'll be narrating where the spiders are non-stop, so everyone else could consider there positions mostly-known.
| GM Elberion |
Reginald, if you fly inside then you are weaving amongst the orrery. Make a fly check.

”Preventing this sort of planar travel is quite difficult, you know!” Reginald calls down from above. ”It would be one thing if they were just invisible, but this is literally leaving this plane of existence and popping back in for tea.”
| GM Elberion |
Woah, two Robyyns on the map! Given where Robyyn started, I have adjusted your position.
Reginald, that is a failed fly check so (I think) you have to move at least half your speed and can only ascend at 45 degrees or less. Otherwise, you fall to the ground.
| GM Elberion |
Reginald sees one of the spiders float up beside him and another drifts through the walls beside Robyyn.
Robyyn and Reginald need to make fortitude saves. Robyyn at DC20, Reginald at DC18.
I know Reginald saved last time but the cure is two consecutive saves.
Robyyn con. damage: 1d2 ⇒ 1
Also, I apologise, this is much worse than I thought. For some reason I thought it was str. damage but, no, this poison does con damage.
That's worse because con damage can kill.

Oh, wait! That makes it much worse as Robyyn would have been unconscious due to his hit point total dropping... I'm not going to retcon anything, so...
Robynn moves outside of the building and then collapses from his wounds.
You know what, that is actually a huge, character-killing screw-up from me that I am not going to allow it. You might have acted very differently if you had known that con damage was happening to two PCs.
I am going to try and resolve this in as simple a way as possible...
Before anyone acts top of the round Sara produces a strange shell from her belt, "I've been saving this..." and snaps it in half.
A strange warmth washes over you all, healing her allies.

Fortitude DC 20, CON damage, antitoxin: 1d20 + 3 - 2 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 3 - 2 + 5 = 15

"Let us move away from the structure and circle around those that are not as resistant to poison so they are protected. Or those that are weaker just flee! We can then all ready attacks!"
Aaftaab jumps on Parvaaz and directs Parvaaz to move and then both ready an attack!

Moving on the diagonal is totally fine - flavor text is flavor.
Reginald continues to weave amongst the moving parts of the orrery. "I don't know why this one is following me up here," he comments, pointing at empty space, "but it'd fall before it could bite me. So foolish." With a wave of his hand, he conjures up translucent armor before coughing.
Fortitude: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
With a second move to ascend at 45 degrees, Reginald is probably around 20 ft in the air or so. Casting mage armor.
@Robynn, remember that lesser restoration is a 3-round cast.
Robyyn
|
@Robynn, remember that lesser restoration is a 3-round cast.
Did not know that. Looks like Robyyn's going to be occupied for the time being. This does not change his actions in any way; he's trying to save his life.
@GM, I don't know whether that means Standard (this round) plus 2 rounds plus Move (last round), or if the casting can't start until next round. Whatever you rule is what he does.
Ischell

My least favorite part of restoration
Ischell continues his retreat, rushing up next to the injured Sylph.
"Dude. You don't look so good, ya know. We are gonna have to do something about that."
He twirls the Kama in place and peers about the space, trying to find the location of the next strike.
"Say! Why don't you spider dude pick on someone who stings back!"
Readied attack
DC Kama, Reach: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13 Adamantine, Magic: 1d6 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17
The way I am reading it is that Robbyn is at full health, aside from the Con damage? If that is not the case, Ischell will use one of his LOH to clear damage instead of readying an attack

"Woah, dude. You do NOT look good." As he sees the flying witch glide out of the orrery. "I don't do much with poisons man- stuff never affects me, ya know. If you were sick, or caught something from a rat... now we'd have a different story"
