Wait, how do we know our earn-income results? The DCs are usually set by the GM. I didn't find a table in the PFS2 guide.

The Standard Method is to roll Earn Income against a Task Level two levels lower (minimum 0) than your Character Level.

Earning Income is the most common Downtime activity. If you are using your Downtime for any other purposes, they must be completed first before you attempt your check to Earn Income. For each 8 day unit of Downtime you spend (including units where you complete multiple activities, such as spending 7 days retraining and then 1 day Earning Income), you attempt one check to Earn Income, using the result to calculate your total earnings for that block of Downtime. The Task Level of your Earn Income check is equal to your level – 2 (minimum 0) by default (GMs should check Table 10–5: DCs by Level on page 503 of the Pathfinder Core Rulebook to calculate the DC), though some boons may allow you to attempt checks against higher-level tasks as a special reward. A check to Earn Income does not carry beyond the 8-day cycle for which you attempt the check.

I guess my choosing of task 1 was invalid, and I'm really against task 0, so DC14, and made it for 5cp.

Separately, for Pathfinder training in school, there's the free consumable per scenario (not carried over).

That is how I track Hero Points

Are “treasure bundles” just a measure of the items we have found/can find, or do they persist after you find them? (IE, does the party split up treasure bundles at the end of the adventure into coins?)

I ask because I’m interested in USING the gold plated half plate, but it would be crazy unfair if I were to keep it at the end, as opposed to splitting the value with the others.

You're first instinct - it's a layer of abstraction.

The number of Treasure Bundles is checked off during the adventure, and turns into a proportional per-PC award on your Chronicle Sheet after the game, no matter what happens to them during the game or if they are used (ex. potions).

Meaning you are free to use them how you like!

Yup. I don't think it's unreasonable to bot a skill check if anybody felt held back from that. Botting instructions are to help provide ideas, not set a strict contract of allowed actions :P

Would have botted you but I honestly thought it was a trap and didn’t want to volunteer you to test it. Still think it’s a trap. If I were the GM, it would be a trap ;)

Was hoping if it was a trap that Brayka’s previous action would trigger it and we could resolve. As it is, hope I didn’t kill an NPC!

I am going to be taking my two week break very shortly. And after that, Gencon Online will be happening. That said, we have two options:

1) Pause the game, and pick it up when I return (characters unavailable to use for Gencon).
2) Organize a 2-hour VTT time in the next few days to "finish" this Scenario (Using Discord and Google Slides).

Please send me a Private Message about your preference. If you prefer option #2, please send at least three potential times, converted to PDT (my timezone), that you could find time to play. Otherwise, we will be moving forward with the first option by default. I am open to either option, but would require a 100% consensus to move forward with the second option, as it would be essentially changing the agreements we implicitly made at the start of our PbP game.

I will be continuing to GM this game throughout the week and early weekend. Cheers!
