Salvius Delronge
|
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Salvius' face glows red as he realizes Shel's invitation might not be for a simple conversation, what's more, he realizes she probably didn't ask him to accompany her for protection!
He starts to stammer, and trying to accomplish his most daunting task yet - to think of an appropriate answer. With cheeks flush, he stutters-"Uh...Well, you know what they teach at Magaambya! Always open to new adventures! I mean, not that I'm suggesting it will be. I think. I...I will see you here later! See you in ch-chemistry!"-as he runs off towards the rest of the group.
His face and dishelved look make him look like he has just fought a great beast.

The group also sees Salvius walking off arm-in-arm with Shel.

As events unfold, Sayuki’s eyes light up and the grin on her face would be visible from space. As the two depart, Sayuki slips around the corner and hides against the wall amidst a pitchfork and a barrel.
As soon as the coast is clear, she’ll work on setting up a (harmless!!) prank still working on the specifics there.

"Well, since he is leaving us now, has anyone learned anything of use? Farm-boy just turned out to be a druggy teenager." Tanya says, annoyed.

Apologies, Ekanta, I thought I had posted this a few days ago...
She leans against the wall and smiles up at Ekanta, "I have had a lovely time." She puts her finger on Ekanta's chest, "You. I like you." She looks around the house with a slow blink before turning back to the tiefling, "And you brought me home. You are so sweet and kind and tall and good. Yes."
Swaying, Lucille stumbles and sits down on a stall in the hallway, "I'm sorry, I'm not normally so..." She looks down at her feet, then back up at Ekanta, a nervy grin on her face, "Breakfast. Maybe you could come over for breakfast in the morning? Not too early. Yes? We can have pancakes? Or eggs?"

Tanya has no idea what the hell is going on, or if anyone is even nearby anymore. She decides to retire for the night.

Same for Vina.

As the party winds down, Vina and Tanya return to the big house.
There they find the building undisturbed, except for a note, a bottle and several small but rather fine glasses. The note reads, “My guests. I must apologise that I cannot share a nightcap with you tonight. Please, help yourselves and we will talk over brunch. AK.”
Linka Wind
|
Linka trails along with Tanya and Vina. Spring the offered nightcap links stops anyone from partaking.
Hold on. We have a suspiciously missing agent who left an even more suspicious fluid on what I suspect was his bed. I'm not trusting anything the mayor isn't here to share with us.
With that she begins to examine the liquor, decanter, and glasses.

Only Sayuki is missing from the group as Linka expresses her doubts.

Tanya shrugs, "I don't partake in alcohol anyways." She was already planning to avoid having a sip of it. "Instead I'll take a decaf."

From the doorway, Ekanta gives Tanya an even weirder stare than usual. "Decaf...alcohol?"
First time I've ever wondered whether Golarion has anything like 4Loko - it is a world with Goblin Alchemists, so come to think of it, probably....

So, it looks like everyone is turning in for the night. Let me know if you are doing anything else (apart from Sayuki and Salvius, who I know have other plans).

I am going to take this out of spoilers so everyone can enjoy it...
As the night draws in, one of our heroes sits in his room without preparing for bed. Eventually, Salvius slips quietly out of the house but his passage does not go unnoticed as Lackadee spies the young man stepping down the path.
Salvius steps through the quiet darkness, his way lit only by moon and stars, and into the barn where he has arranged to meet the night's Queen, Shel Lupescu.
Their meeting is meant to be a lonely one but, as he waits for Shel, Salvius spots a figure perched on the hoist the near the ceiling!
All of my stealth checks were bad; all of the perception checks were just good enough.

Salvius waits nervously and as he sees the figure near the ceiling, he yells-"Uh-uh, who's there!"-as he pulls out his wand and points it at the ceiling. (his normal, wooden wand!) He mutters-"Lumos."-as light start glowing from the tip.
Sayuki the Duplicitous
|
As Salvius whips out draws his wood wand, Sayuki is left trying to cover her face from the sudden brightness. She is in traditional ninja garb, holding her waterskin in a distinctive grip with one hand on the neck to aim and an elbow on the body for squeezing.
Not unlike a medieval Super Soaker, if one had to be honest.
She lets out a Minkai swear, digs her elbow in--
Improvised Super Soaker vs. Salvius Touch: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 5 - 4 = 7
--almost definitely misses, and swings down on a rope--
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
--straight out the door, fleeing into the night and cackling!
| GM Elberion |
In the light, Salvius sees Sayuki suddenly as she sprays water over the ground to his right then swings dramatically from her vantage point, straight out of the door and into the night, narrowly avoiding Shel!
The young woman yelps in fright then rushes over to Salvius, "What was that?"
Salvius Delronge
|
Salvius looks flustered and confused, as he says-"I-I think I knew that person. I have no idea what Sayuki would be doing here. Perhaps she wanted to wish me good luck?"-as his face becomes redder.
"So, uh...how's it going?"-trying to look away and certainly not having the courage to take the first step.
| GM Elberion |
Shel makes the beginnings of a lazy smile, then Salvius sees her eyes darts past him to the other barn doors. She gives a sudden shriek of panic and stumbles back, "Oh, no! Protect me!"
Through the northern doors fly four stirges, buzzing angrily! You don't think any of them are called Applesauce.

Sayuki is 120 feet away at the start of round 1. Sayuki, you hear a panicked cry from Shel, rather more scary than the one she made when you surprised her.
A stirge buzzes toward Salvius and tries to sink its proboscis into him.
Salvius, if you have any way to take one then this provokes an attack of opportunity.
attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
The stirge attaches itself to Salvius That's 1 point of constitution damage.

Vina, Lackadee can make a perception check to hear the scream. I will let you decide if he is asleep or awake as I have no idea how that works for a tree.
Salvius, the stirge gets the grappled condition but you do not. It is hanging on to you.
Lakadee
|
"Plants breathe and eat, but do not sleep."
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Watch trick: The animal can be commanded to keep watch over a particular area, such as a campsite, and to raise an alarm if it notices any dangerous or sizable creature entering the area.
Assuming a Perception of 20 is enough to hear the scream:
Lakadee reaches through Vina's opened window and shakes her awake, while emitting a siren-like whistle that is highly audible to all patrons of the inn (and probably multiple neighbors in the area I'm afraid!)
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
Vina Sitha
|
Vina quickly rubs the sleep out of her eyes and jumps into Lakadee's canopy, instructing him to move to the other windows and pick up her fellow Pathfinder colleagues through their own windows.
"Hang on to Lakadee's branches friends! someone is screaming and needs our help!"
Carrying capacity: 466 lbs. at speed 30, and 932 lbs. at speed 20
Sayuki the Duplicitous
|
Sayuki does an about-face as she hears the scream, and rage fills her instantly.
I had assumed Salvius a gentleman!
She gets to the barn doors, sprinting, but doesn't have enough time to fire off a shot.
Are the south doors open or closed? If closed:
"Shel! If you can, open the doors! I am here!"
| GM Elberion |
The big house is a little on its own, so you may be okay and just alert those in the house.
Lakadee hears the yelp and his whistle fills the air.
Reviewing the perception rules and those under the sleep spell for rousing a sleeper, I am going to call it DC13 perception to hear Lakadee (DC is +10 for sleeping, +5 for walls and -2 for loud tree creature making strange noise.). If anyone has links to better official sleep rules, let me know.
Vina and Lackadee are in initiative now. They go after Salvius.
| GM Elberion |
If you want to pick up sleeping pathfinders, I will allow you to work together: each round Vina opens a window and Lackadee reaches in.
| GM Elberion |
Sayuki, the double doors at both ends are open. The moon gives dim light outside and Salvius' spell lights up the barn. Ladders and stairs lead to the balconies.

Should be able to start contributing next round, then! Excellent :D
"Shel, run," she says instead.
Ekanta Hanoi
|
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Ekanta springs out of bed. Even he cannot tell whether or not he had even fallen asleep yet, and it matters not; he grabs his staff and a few chakra, and sprints out the door with the premeditated ease of a mechanical figurine on a cuckoo clock. It hardly even matters to him that he is rushing off without any idea of where he is rushing or what is waiting for him there; it is time to do battle!

Sayuki, run was not an option here. You have made a double-move and are now 60ft away. Unless you have some way to speed up. Shel still hears you tell her to run.

Another hungry stirge approaches Salvius
attach: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
That provokes an AoO as well, if you can take one.
But it snags its proboscis on his cloak and flutters to the floor.
Meanwhile, Vina swings into action.

Apologies, been preoccupied.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
If that is enough for Tanya to wake up, her turn is as follows.
Tanya awakens from her sleep, getting out of bed and reaching for her pistol.
| GM Elberion |
As Linka leans out of the window, she sees Vina throw open a window and Lackadee lifts Tanya out of her room in her nightgown, gun in hand.
The clatter of Ekanta’s hooves resounds from the stairwell.

Salvius yells-"Ouch, ouch ouch! It's stuck to me! Let's try to give the lady some space! Akellorus!"-as his wand starts glowing with magical energy and lets out a spray of colorful lights.
Concentration check DC 17: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
(Unsure if I did, or can include the stirge that's on my own space. Salvius will try to include it as well if possible)
(Casting a Color Spray on the orange area. DC 15 will save to negate.)
| GM Elberion |
After much deliberation, I am going to rule that you have to cover whole squares. This means that if you want to include that stirge, you would have to include yourself as well and it would shorten your cone.
