Ouchies. yeah, that worked alright. A little TOO well! ;P Thx DM
Reminder, wall o'fire was standard action, and move action was a half-move to H34
EDIT- Wait, Merle cast HASTE, so I can do a FULL move as a half-move action? (IE=safely?) if so I'll scoot up to E34
SO, current status, HP 29/80,
Justin's (slightly pained) voice can be heard from somewhere in the steam,...
"Well. At least it's WARM."
I'll wait til closer to my actual move to post action, :)

Dungeon Monkey |

Alessia's going to hold action until it gets into melee range. Not really a whole lot she can do here, as far as I know, at least.
You can attack it from the ledge. It is engaged at close range so you can melee if you move to K31. However, there is the wall of fire in the way. IDK how long that fire will be up

Justin Case |

Ah, ok I missed the retcon, sorry. I'll move back to my original spot at H34. Close to Mel. :)
Just FYI, that wasn't a spell, that was the 'Elemental Wall' wizzie power acting as Wall of Fire. First thing I'm doing on next action is Dropping it. Saving the rest of it's rounds/day for later. :)
I'll go ahead and post actions,
From the steam cloud comes Justin's pained voice.
"Sorry guys, I didn't think it would be THAT effective!"
The wizard ceases his concentration, and the wall of flame flickers and dies.
From near Mel, Justin chants once more. Overland Flight. For real this time! :)
Justin floats up inside the steam cloud, and floats sideways. 5' move to H33
I'm drinking a potion NEXT round!:)

Turtle turtle!!
Karrin 22 [Pending]
Alessia 19 [pending]
Martin 17 []
Avrahim 14 [SW]
Sarastra 14 [Phantasmal Killer]
Turtle 13 []
Merle 12 [dd/mm]
Justin 7 [Overland Flight]
Mel 5 [Spirit weapon- channel]
The blistering steam melts the icy rime surrounding the party. Avrahim copies Mel and sends a glowing sword streaking towards the dim bellowing form of the ice turtle. Sarastra begins chanting in a liquid tongue that hurts the ears of those around her. Those around her see a titanic shadow darken the steam by the icy beast
Will save DC25 turtle: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (9) + 15 = 24
fort save DC25 turtle: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19
Avrahim SW: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 191d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 111d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 61d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10.
Whelp ....
There is a sudden fearful bellow as the beast suddenly rears back and crashes into the deep layer of quick snow beneath it. It stops moving and in a few moments sinks below the shifting blue snow, just disappearing from view as the steam cloud dissipates

Justin Case |

"Yes. Yes it was. It was even warm for a second or three there."
Justin looks around and lowers his eyes sheepishly.
"Sorry. I had to melt the ice. HOW was I to know the friggin turtle was actually LIVING paraelemental ice and would EXPLODE when exposed to fire?!?" He grumbles.
"On the PLUS side, I do have some interesting notes to make. Oh, and before we re-freeze. Again."
Justin mutters his Prestidigitation charm and dries himself off, and offers to do the same to anyone else who needs a hand drying off before their steamed clothing freezes solid.

Dungeon Monkey |

The icy leviathan has disappeared beneath the deep quicksnow. The steam precipitates out of the atmosphere as more snow. The various people get their clothes dried and they advance on through the vast cave.
A while goes by as they edge along the bluish ice ledge, keeping a wary eye for any new surprises. They come to the back of the cave and find several holes in the ice. Two seem to be exhaling blasts of snow, possibly from being aligned with the winds above. The snow settles into the vast lake of other snow. The final hole is quiet, with just a faint whistling to be heard. It twists up in a 45 degree cant, the rounded tunnel disappearing from view a dozen feet from the entrance.

Alessia of Keoland |

Karrin Kind wrote:"Yeah any other day that might have seemed strange."Karrin flies up to meet the group.
"Well that was a thing."
Alessia remains (figuratively) frozen in place for a few seconds before sheathing her sword, muttering to herself.
"I do not understand what just happened. Or how it happened."
...she says in full player proxy mode.

Justin Case |

Justin floats along with the others, using his flight to make sure he does not have to worry about falling on the ice.
Justin glances back at Sarastra when she speaks. He silently tries to decide if she is merely self-confident, (Which he approves of),or if she deserves a place next to Karrin on his 'List of People I do NOT Want Mad at Me'.
Justin examines the snow-breathing holes thoughtfully. He looks up the shaft of the silent one before turning to the rest.
"Ice-spelunking. THAT's a fun, team-building activity, right?"
Since he has a long-term fly spell running, he offers to be the 'safety anchor' if everyone wants to tie them selves together to prevent anyone from falling back down the slippery slope :)

Dungeon Monkey |

Im going to just condense this a bot
With Justin flying and acting as an anchor, the others manage to navigate the ice tunnel in about an hours time
I don’t know how long your spell lasts, but we’ll just assume everyone gets up with no problem
The tunnel emerges in a small cave that looks out onto a wind-scoured plateau. The blue ice of the mountain is exposed, but beyond about 300 feet is a large iron door set flush into the side of the icy mountain on the far side of the wind-swept span. The party can see the tips of the ice mountain chain through the tatters of storm clouds. They are quite high up it seems - though what that means on this plane is debatable...

Justin Case |

This spell is Overland Flight, lasts 11 hours at my level. We good! :)
Justin surveys the barren, frozen landscape as he coils his silk rope and stows it in his haversack. The wizard points at the only visible feature on the Icy mountain and says,...
"I'll take door number one Memnon."

Justin Case |

Justin shrugs. "It's a big-honkin' door. We knock on it." He smirks.
Waving the others forward, Justin flies so his feet are just above the wind-swept frozen plain. He stays even with whoever usually takes point, (Karrin?) looking for dangers from above, or below, the ice.
Per: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
Still getting snow and ice in my lashes I see. :P

Justin Case |

Justin pops a moderate cure potion, checks the status of his spells, and checks that the rest are ready to move forward,...
So Spells running are; Overland Flight, Elf Lords Armor, and drink 1 CMW potion,
2d8 + 3 ⇒ (6, 5) + 3 = 14
And Current HP: 43/80, he still looks like heck warmed over. :P

Justin Case |

Justin sighs, releasing tension he didn't realize he had been holding in to fight the pain.
Current HP:79/80 :) MUCH better!
"Oooooo,... Thanks Mel. I needed that!" Justin says gratefully.
"GOTTA remember to throw up elemental protections BEFORE the giant turtle thing breathes next time,..."

Dungeon Monkey |

Merle teleports over to the opposite edge. Sarastra also walks over through dimensions in some fashion, although she doesn’t offer to bring anyone else. Mel, Martin, and Avrahim go with Merle. The rest make it over, wind blown but ok
1d6 ⇒ 6 Oops
There is a sudden rumbling, like an avalanche rolling down from up above. A mass of ice and snow rains down on the plateau. The party huddles hard against the door as the avalanche passes. A pile of snow and ice is piled by the tunnel they crawled up, blocking all sight of it.
As if this development isn’t bad enough, the pile begins to quake and shudder. A huge roughly humanoid form emerges from the pile, an amalgamation of ice and snow towering three meters high. Brilliant blue fires kindle where eyes should be. This new threat begins to move effortlessly across the ice plateau
Roll initiative!.

Justin Case |

Justin, who had been about to examine the door closer before the sudden avalanche, blinks at the second oncoming avalanche with arms and legs now heading towards them.
"Aww, fertheluvuv,..."
The wizard looks upwards.
"Can we catch just ONE break today? Please?!?" He demands to the sky.
Only the howling winds, and the thunderous approach of the new humanoid iceberg, answer his plea.
Init: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
"Try to keep it at range! I'll try to catch it in a fire circle!"

Avrahim Nas Finjaani |

Avrahim cocks his crossbow and mutters a few words over it
Activating bane elemental
Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 121d10 + 5 + 2d6 ⇒ (2) + 5 + (6, 2) = 15Add +1 if within 30'
Attack 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 201d10 + 5 + 2d6 ⇒ (3) + 5 + (5, 4) = 17Add +1 if within 30'

Justin Case |

Posting action I go after critter yes?
Justin raises his hand and draws a circle in the air. A wall of flame springs into place, starting across the charging snow creatures path and curving around to encircle it entirely.
Elemental wall power as Wall of Flame. Circle with heat towards inside. critter takes 2d4+intense spells pwr pts/dmg from being inside each round, 2d6+ if it crosses through it.
First round dmg (just from being near/inside it) 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (4, 3) + 6 = 13
"So. Let's get this door open, yeah?" He says energetically.

Justin Case |

A wall of flame springs around the icy beast
"And STAY there! Good ice,... thing." Justin snarls.
"Mem! Check out the door while we see if we can help Frosty lose some weight. What'll it take to open it?"
I really need to write Mem up for you, dont I? :P If you wish I'll make his K: rolls for examining the door. What should he look at? Arcane? Engineering?

Memnon the Mimir |

Im thinking something like a 10th level Investigator NPC with a few utilitarian spells like light, mage hand, comprehend languages, scribe ..etc. these could be just supernatural abilities tied to his makeup. Stats would be super high int, high wis, good charisma/dex and negligible Str/con
Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30
disable traps: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26
Memnon scans the door while the party fights
“It’s magically sealed with some sort of temporal stasis. There’s Goblin writing on the face ...”
He pauses
“Speak the word which warms the hearts of all true goblinkind”
