Merle's dispel drops the storm yet again. Her magic missile streaks towards the mummy that fights Martin

2nd: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (9) + 15 = 242d6 + 11 ⇒ (4, 6) + 11 = 21
The frozen undead horror falls into true death
Avrahim aims at his next victim
R12-

I'll hold there until some others before the mummies post. Justin Merle beat you to the dispel, so post another action.

Justin blinks, aborting his plan to cast his own dispel when the sleet storm fades again.
"Thanks Merle! That quickening metamagic is REALLY useful. I need to learn that." Justin says as he searches for his targets,...
Seeing a lone mummy ducking around a column, he drifts forward on his flying spell to be closer to Avrahim. 5'move to L 11
"JUST close enough!" he says as he winds up with his blasting rod and sends a small sphere of flame towards the mummy, just catching it in the mini-fireball blast that results.
Reserve feat, Fiery Burst, 30' range, 5' burst, 1d6 per lvl of unused fire spell memorized. (6d6) Should JUST be able to catch H17 in it if i target the burst at I 17(?)
Fiery burst dmg: 6d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 4, 5, 1, 2, 4) + 6 = 28
Justin looks at Avrahim. "What? He looked like he was freezing. I warmed him up!"

I'm going to go forward since Alessia is fighting a bit separate at the moment. I'll hold off on her foe's shot until she resolves
Once again, the whirling sleet storm materializes, cloaking the remaining mummies

Justin smirks.
The wizard doesn't speak feline, but he does certainly appreciate Merle's feelings on the situation.
"Never thought I'd say this. But there CAN be such a thing as too many bloody casters!" The wizard mutters to Memnon.
'They aren't blasters or summoners, or we'd be toast by now. In fact the only thing we've actually seen them do magic-wise is use defensive chants, and this stupid sleet-storm spell. But if they're sorcerers, even one of them could keep doing this a LONG time. We are wasting way too much magic here JUST to walk through a friggin' door!'
Justin contemplates as he soars high with his spell to get a clear view of his next target, and tosses another mini-fireball at it.
Can't see where they are with sleet-storm map yet. But he will move enough to bring the nearest one into mini-fireball range. Same as last time, 6d6 fire burst, DC:22 for 1/2 dmg.
Fire burst: 6d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 3, 1, 5, 4, 5) + 6 = 29

Merle's magic missile hits the mummy that Avrahim's scimitar attacks, wounding it.
Justin you are anticipating your spells. I'll take that as a round 6 attack if needed
A mummy comes around a pillar and pummels Martin with a withered fist that glows a bright blue
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 171d6 + 7 + 1d6 + 4d6 ⇒ (3) + 7 + (5) + (1, 6, 4, 1) = 27
It misses the paladin
Sarastra flicks glitter at the far mummy
DC20 Will: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
The mummy is encased in a sparking glowing cloud of magical motes
Mel steps up to the mummy that missed Martin
"Batter up!"
Weapon:Pelor's Fist +2 Holy Mace of Disruption
1st atk: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 191d8 + 5 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 5 + (5, 4) = 15 (2d6 vs evil; undead will save DC14 or instadeath)
2nd atk: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 121d8 + 5 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 5 + (6, 4) = 16 (2d6 vs evil; undead will save DC14 or instadeath)
Both swings whiff
His floating mace joins the fray
Spiritual Weapon:
Spiritual Weapon: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 301d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
The mummies run swiftly towards the group
OK- Karrin's go then a new round

Karrin will move to the PQ 12-13 square and take her swings.
1st Attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (5) + 18 = 23
damage: 2d8 + 11 + 1d6 + 2d6 ⇒ (6, 2) + 11 + (1) + (4, 5) = 29
Hast Attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (4) + 18 = 22
damage: 2d8 + 11 + 1d6 + 2d6 ⇒ (8, 4) + 11 + (4) + (2, 5) = 34
I see two possible targets in that area, I'll let you apply the attacks as you feel necessary

i THINK if I aim my baby-fireball at P14 I can get both mummies at N13 & Q15? If not, I'll make sure I get it on N13.

Fire Burst, 6d6+6, DC:22 for 1/2 dmg 6d6+6
Karrin had first go, and she stepped into that area. You will cause collateral damage should you fire that off. Do you still wish to?

OOPS! Ah, nope. Nevermind.
Justin snuffs his baby fireball when Karrin steps into his line of fire. Following Merle's example, he fires off a Force Bolt, although his single blazing bolt looks pretty feeble when compared to Merle's sudden tsunami of magical missiles, attempting to reduce her chosen target into undead swiss cheese.
Presuming that Merle Targeted N13, then Justin will target Q15.
Force bolt(mag Missile) : 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Sorry folks - I kinda dropped the ball on this
The combined attacks bring down the last of the mummies. The only possible threat left is the wavering spectre by the throne. It speaks
"You have vanquished my guardians, but you shall not discover my tomb. Depart before you die!"
The spectre winks out, leaving the room empty
Justin Case
NO worries my online amigo. It has been a crazy couple of months. :)
Justin sighs dramatically, (nevermind that he was looking very nervous for a bit there!)
"Believe it or not, we don't WANT your friggin' tomb. We're just passing through. Literally."
The ever-practical part of the mage's mind has it's own ideas of course,...
'It's a shame we're NOT looking for his tomb. With guardians like this, it must have something worth protecting! I wonder if we have time for a quick look-see? NO! Going to get Murph. Rescue first, side-trips later.'
"Well. THAT was 'fun'. Anyone see an iron cube anywhere? Near the throne?"
Per: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
Dungeon Monkey
Reprinting the original description. The mummies are now all destroyed, but everything else is as it was. Let me know where you want to look and I'll use your perceptions to gauge what you find
Inside is a large chamber. Instead of ice, this room is made of blocks of red granite, and columns of pale chalcedony march to the rear of the room. A painted fresco of goblins warring illustrates the bottom half of the granite, done in a quite gifted style. Low platforms are placed by these frescos, about a dozen. Mummified figures seated in lotus positions are atop them. At the far side is a huge throne, made of a dark wood and glittering with gemstones. The throne sits on a dais, and around it seem piles of random junk. Justin thinks there might be dead bodies there.
Justin Case
"Hmph. Of course it can't just be sitting inside the front door. THAT would be TOO easy. Wouldn't it?" The mage mutters. Mostly to himself, but obviously doesn't seem to mind if anyone else hears.
Justin floats slowly towards the throne-dias. Activating his basic magic-detection charm as he does.
'Maybe it's just hidden behind the throne or something. May as well take a look and see if any of these 'donations' are worth picking up while we're at it.'
Justin focuses his search on the throne dias area.
Dungeon Monkey
The area in front of the throne dias is littered with dessicated ancient corpses piled up. Many of them are goblinoids, but there is a fair smattering of humans, elves and a few more exotic races as well. All of them seem to be kitted out in adventuring gear of the cold-weather variety. The dias has several beautiful carvings and bowls placed on it, some filled with gold pieces, others with what look to be spices.
The throne itself is a dark wood, so dense as to be almost stonelike. Several dozen cabochon jewels are set within it. Justin examines it, and notes that there is a hairline crack in the dias under the throne.
Alessia of Keoland
Karrin will experiment with lifting the throne, if it's light enough she will try smashing the throne into the dias. Karrin is still large sized and has an effect strength of 20
If it doesn't work, Alessia's got a base strength of 20, or 24 if she's raging.
