FYI, a 29 Diplomacy is what you needed to pull off a 'Diplomatic' ending to the encounter, so well done!

Please note that the gold is so high, because you were running level 5 pregens - technically, although the chronicle is applied to any PC of levels 1 to 5, you don't receive the rewards until your PC is level 5.
