GM Quirk |

Greetings, brave Starfinders!
I'd like to post a couple of guidelines for this adventure that I hope you'll take to heart.
1. Please plan on posting at least once a day. We may slow down a bit on weekends, though I hope to be able to at least make a GM post or two even then.
2. This adventure is an opportunity to truly stretch your role playing prowess! Please embrace that, and enjoy interacting with the NPC's presented to you. I promise I will do my best to make these NPC's and their situations enjoyable for you. Acts of Association is, for the most part, very light hearted.
3. With that in mind, I hope I won't be metagaming too much by suggesting you find ways of doing nonlethal damage. Many of the encounters will best be solved by NOT killing something!
My next post will be a request for information I'll need from you as players.

GM Quirk |

Here is some information I'll need from each of you:
1. Your character's name, class, race, and level.
2. Your organized play number + character number.
3. An email address for me to send the chronicle sheet.
4. Slotted faction.
5. Day job roll (if applicable).
6. Please put a "bot me" expression on your online character.
7. Instead of simply "dotting in" over at game play, please feel free to post a short background for your character. It can be a short description, or it can be narrative in form.
8. (Optional) A little bit about you as a player might be nice. I always enjoy getting to know the people I interact with here. On the other hand, I know some also appreciate the anonymity of the internet, so feel free to skip this part.

A little about me:
My name is Alan, and when I'm not playing games with all of you I'm working at a community television facility in the midwest United States. I live at home with my wife, two teenagers, and Penny Lane and Clementine the Guinea Pigs.
I have been playing and GMing RPG's since 198coughcough.
This is my first time GMing a PBP game. I have had some good GM's here on the Paizo forums, so I think I'm ready.

I work in coding in the UK. I've been running tabletop games for my friends for a few years now, but I've not done too much PbP yet. I've done a couple of other PbP Starfinder scenarios, but that's it so far.

I'll add a bot-me section to my character profile.
Long time gamer (board, RPG, CCG) going way back (D&D in '78). I only just got into organized play when Starfinder was released and haven't looked back. I'm a programmer for a small medical company, currently waiting to hear back from the FDA about the project I've been working on for the last several years.

1. LolaRuby, exocortex mechanic, human, 1
2. 67750-703
3. Will PM.
4. Dataphiles
5. Day job roll (if applicable). Profession (Electrician): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
6. Please put a "bot me" expression on your online character. Will do.
7. Done.
8. Buncha noobs here! I started playing D&D in 1977, and played wargames before that (mostly SPI games). Due to profession, family, and geography I haven't been able to do practically any F2F gaming for the last couple of decades. PbP has been a boon for me over the past 8+ years (hence the more than 30k posts on the boards). I'm part of a team handling safety support, environmental compliance, and quality assurance for one research directorate at Argonne National Lab near Chicago. Mich, whereabouts are you?

@LolaRuby My wife is working at Argonne in HPC :p
We are living downtown, near the lake.

Quirk, I'll be playing this with my technomancer Gletch instead of Officer Wilson. I realized (after dotting in) that Wilson will hit Lvl 2, and I want to hold off on playing him again until I am able to rebuild him with the Law Enforcement theme (and maybe some other stuff) from the Character Operations Manual.
It looks like this will be a tech-heavy crew ... which, having played this scenario before, will make things interesting. :)
1. Gletch, Bleachling Gnome Technomancer 2
2. 108452-707
3. Will PM
4. Dataphiles Champion
5. None - Will check of "Savior of Tasch" Boon
6. "Bot Me" added
7. Will do.
8. I started roleplaying with AD&D 2nd edition, some homebrew stuff, but really got into it through Dragonlance and Dark Sun.
I am on a business trip right now and will be flying home tomorrow night, so probably will not be able to post until Friday morning.

Just a quick heads up - Pax Unplugged starts today, and I will be there playing and GMing Starfinder through Sunday. I will try and get a post up while there, but I wouldn't count on it. Sorry for the absence.

Still working on chronicle sheets. This is the first time I have GM'd online, so I am still working on the best way to manage the sheets for all of you. I think I finally found the right app to fill in the PDF and save the chronicle sheet separately from the rest of the adventure.
I'll either email these, or see about sharing on google docs or something like that.

![]() |

You don’t need an app, you just can “print” the chronicle in .pdf ;-)

![]() |

How's it going with the chronicles?

All seems good!
Thanks for running!
