With the presumed bigger threat taken care of, the group turns their attention to the lackeys. The dwarf seem to be tough as it takes two arrows and a blow from a small treant to knock one off his feet.
The remaining one yells at the top of his tongue and retaliates while sparring with the Flexing Shield. Unfortunately for the pirate, the vigilante dodges and knocks him in the face.

With powerful force, Lakadee knocks the invaders into the wall. The impact causes the wall to slightly crack, but most importantly, knocks the invader unconscious. With the invasion chased off, the temple residents come out from their hiding to thank you. However, it's clear from their faces that they do not think the worse is over and they are quick to finding shelter again in the event of another attack.
First Success! GM Numbat will likely be taking over from here. But to help with the transition, let's as usual put it to a vote where we will be taking this next!
A runner from the Society gives you the rundown of attacks happening in the tapestry. The Astral invasion continues at some ancient ruins in the desert and the Pagoda of the Rat. Undeads have also been seen in a an ancient ruin, not located in the desert.

As the group of Pathfinders arrive back in the caverns of Round Mountain, Aram Zey's voice projects into the space around them "A force of drow is descending upon our ratfolk allies. Don't let your guard down - I can't shake the sense that there's moe to these dow than it seems."
Shortly thereafter, as they find themselves in a familiar area, the see four figures across the chasm ... they appear to be dark-skinned elves. Three have hand crossbows at the ready and rapiers hanging to hand. The other (Red) has an arrow ready to fire from their short bow, while a short sword is sheathed at their side.

Reznor is clearly furious with this encounter, and he calls out in a loud, clear voice.
And so, Nocticula was redeemed and ascended from the Abyss, and the drow scum who once worshiped her now cry bitterly in the darkness, cut off from her grace and power!

He then draws his bow and steps forward five feet.
Reznor is the result of a drow breeding scheme and thus grew up with them. As a result, he is not overly fond of drow.

The leader of the drow party (red) drops their bow and draws their short sword to hack away at the threatening treant now directly before them as they cautiously step forward, shouting a command. The sword slashes deep into the bark. 4 damage
The blue-robed drow also drops the now nearly useless hand-crossbow to draw their rapier as they move into flanking position on the other side of the treant. They skewer the creature so deeply that sap starts oozing from the puncture. 5 damage
The green-robed drow fires again at Shield but the shot is way off target, the best that can be said is that it was in the general direction of the Pathfinders.
While the yellow-robed one fires into the treant. This bolt flies true and while it does not punch hard it penetrates sufficiently to risk the poison making its way into to where it can cause havoc. 2 points damage - fort save vs DC 13 or fall unconcious

While it looked to all that Lakadee had missed the drow on their first approach, their size had blocked the critical blow that hit the blue-robed drow causing slow internal hemorrhage. Said drow drops in place, a look of surprise and betrayal on their face.
Reznor's fury, while inspiring his team, affect his aim just enough to have his shot barely miss.
Sulana makes up for it with deadly aim, skewering the leader who rocks back slightly just in time to receive another arrow. A passing Half-Elf Pathfinder shouts words of encouragement before disappearing from sight once more, clearly on the tail of their own foe.

Flexing gives a roar as the battle seems to move past him. Not to be outdone he puts on a burst of speed and sprints right up the stairs and down the other side, barely slowing down as he tries to slam into the side of the remaining drow, 'Punchy' shield first.

Flexing gives a roar and a double biceps pose over the downed drow. He then breaks into a gruff smile and joins back up with the group. "Ah that was cathartic! Now to get The Sharp Rapier (name still pending) back on her feet. Anybody tried slapping her face yet? Should we dunk her head in some water? Any idea what kind of poison that was? I've got a nice antiplague but no antitoxin. We could go do some shopping as well. I think that booth where we came in is still open."

Unable to help the wounded, Sulana heads over to the dead bodies of the drow. What were they trying to accomplish here? Once she can get there, she'll search the bodies for any evidence.

The team go about looking after their wounds and each other, searching the area and the drow.
It is unclear what the drow were doing here other than making trouble. Their leader, upon searching, yields a short sword, a masterwork shortbow, masterwork studded leather, 18 arrows, a potion of cure light wounds what looks to be a vial of poison, a tanglefoot bag, and 14gp.
The others have nothing of use except their weapons. Each has a hand crossbow and a rapier.
Vina uses magic to heal Lakadee.
Reznor administers an antitoxin to Niva. Niva make a Fortitude save at +5

Sulana quickly retrieves the arrows to replenish her own supply. ”Does anyone else want this armor? Because I’ll take it if no one else needs it. There’s some other good stuff too.” She also grabs the potion, tanglefoot bag, and money.
Hearing Aran Zey’s voice announcing the retreat of the astral invaders, she looks to the rest of the group. ”In that case, maybe we should check out the undead sighting at those ruins? Sounds like the the invaders have been taken care of.”

The massive rent in the tapestry causes hundreds of undead to spawn as the demiplane’s soul stitching accelerates beyond control. Countless smaller tears appear throughout the realm as the tapestry cannibalizes its own fabric.

Sulana can't quite get a good angle on the creatures from where she is, so she runs up next to the Flexing Shield. "Do me a favor and keep them off me, will you?" Not that she has any doubt he will, he's made it clear he views that as his role in the group.
