So my planned starting line-up, without much thought to how all of these will work in the new edition.
Trildyn Ramsden, my half-orc paladin of Torag from the Playtest. Happy and well-adjusted, and maybe just a touch naive.
Xanno the Magnificent, goblin wizard with a raven familiar, yes it's obviously a raven, that's what wizards have, what do you mean ravens don't usually say ribbit?
Zarina Aviar, elven archer (tbd ranger or fighter), maybe you've met her awful older sister Zella? Well, Zarina is here to show you can accomplish a lot without mysterious magical powers obtained through dark bargains!
Dorrance, dwarven rogue with a big cigar. If it's supposed to move and doesn't, she'll fix that and vice versa.
Anyone you're all dying to play with? Or, Adrian, anyone super well-suited to the scenario?

I think I want to save my goblin cleric of Cayden/bartender for local play, to help demonstrate that people shouldn't fear the goblin PC. For this, I'm thinking one of my Doomsday Dawn characters, rebuilt. If Andrew's going sorcerer, then I'm leaning dwarven ranch-hand beast-instinct (bull) barbarian (assuming that's still a thing).

Hilary mentioned this game to me and said that Adrian would allow me in but that would make it a seven player game.
Is everyone good with it being a seven player game?
If they are, I would likely remake the half-Elf rogue with Wizard multiclass dedication that I did in Playtest. Have training in all four fields of Magic, plus a few skill feats using that. Exact race would depend on just how much ancestry’s have changed.
I will save my Goblin Arson Investigator for a different game.

I was strongly considering building -- to no one's shock -- a gnome. I haven't seen anyone claim bard, so I will likely build a bard, though an alchemist could also be interesting. My Playtest character was named "Pip Hip Hooray" and I think that could be a good first name for 1st PF2 character.
I am waiting to dot gameplay until I can do so with the actual character that I will be playing... Hopefully they will let us start up PF2 characters sometime this week.
I've also been considering starting a goblin bard, but really... I need to read the PF2 rules before building my character and they don't drop for me until August 1.
Hmm

Pip Hip Hooray has dotted in to this campaign. Still have not decided between alchemist and bard, by the way. Both have their appeal! No matter what I play, chances are very good that I will be singing at some point during this story.
(Should we be moving all this discussion to the discussion tab, by the way?)
