With Rorik's rage stab, the alchemist finally slumps over in a pool of his own blood. The Pathfinders are victorious!

Resplendent Diplomat's Palette:

This shallow box contains an assortment of beeswax, oils, pigments, brushes, and quills, and allows a user to blend seemlessly into new cultures and fashion scenes.

By spending 5 minutes applying these contents, a user may adopt the hairstyle, fashion, and social cues of any culture with which he is familiar, granting a +2 circumstance bonus on Bluff or Diplomacy checks with members of that culture, but leaving him otherwise recognizable. Alternatively, the palette may be used to conceal the user’s identity entirely; it cannot make the user appear shorter or taller or otherwise alter their body, but otherwise allows him to adopt the appearance of another creature of the same type with the same body type and build. Either application lasts for 5 hours or until removed with soap and water. A resplendent diplomat’s palette has 50 charges when created, and each use consumes 1 charge.

The palette qualifies as a disguise kit, granting a +2 circumstance bonus on Disguise checks. Using it as such does not consume a charge.

With everything thoroughly looted, you now are able to make your way downstairs without any further interruptions.

The air in this room carries the faint smell of chemicals and herbs, as well as a peculiar, alkaline stink. Glass jars, tubes, beakers, and body parts preserved in fluids clutter every flat working space of this sprawling laboratory. Two large stone slabs occupy this room; chains and shackles hang from both. Two empty cages hang in the northeast of the room near a heavily barred window in the eastern wall.

The floor slopes slightly toward the east, where a grate opens into the outer wall. Saws, pliers, knives, blades, hammers, pokers, and other assorted tools of torture are meticulously arrayed in trays or hanging behind the closed glass doors. A large wooden rack stands beside the cabinets of tools.

In here stands a pale woman with black robes, adorned with bones. Her hair is bundled into a large braided bun behind her head. She averts her gaze from a dwarven style axe. It glows with a purple flame.

She stops what she is doing and turns to look at you all. "My goodness, I wasn't expecting someone to actually reach me here. The fact that you survived the Blighted Path astounds me. You are indeed a powerful collection of individuals, but your potential lays untapped."

"Cast off your old chains and join me, and I shall grant you more power than ever before."

Two wraiths come out from the floor to guard Zohir. Their appearance is reminiscent of dwarves. "How do you like them? Descendants of that damnable lineage!" Zohir taunts, before the wraiths attack the party.

Zohir walks over to a corpse lying on one of the slabs. She waves her hand over it, holding a black onyx gem. The dwarven corpse suddenly shambles, and convulses as it comes back from the dead.

Gordy's blast fails to hit the Necromancer, her bone dress seemingly acting as an armor to protect her.

At least that was his imagination, but Gordy was just so humored by Witz's joke that his attack managed to hit! It doesn't appear to do as much damage as he hoped, however.

Rorik stabs his axe into the Wraith, and recalls that Wraiths are incorporeal, resistant to channeling, and are undead. He also recalls that if he were to shower them in sunlight, the wraiths would be severely crippled.

Finally, Rorik understands from his study, and first hand experience, that Wraiths can hurt a lot when they hit. 1d6 Negative Energy and 1d6 Con Drain (DC17 Fort Save to Negate). If a creature dies to Con Drain it becomes a Wraith also.

Because this adventure is silly, it is a Greataxe. Normally, it is a Dwarven Waraxe, but it is called for that if no one in the party is proficient with it, then change it to something at least one PC can use.

Witz manages to land a shot against Zohir, and it deals some damage. Archer fires many arrows, and it becomes more than enough. While the damage doesn't seem to be taking particular extra effects, she does finally slump over, and lands flat on the ground.
