Myth tosses his alchemist fire, and it appears that the brambles are flamable... he's just able to burn through the patch Angie nicked.

I have acid flasks if you take them. I will hold Kalkemedes back as best I can. We need to clear the brambles. Flix recalls a quote from a great saga. It is their lot who stand with the great that they enjoy high honors, and are more respected than others, but stand often in danger of their lives! Everyone is filled with an inspired rage.

Aiming for two squares past where Angie is cutting. Hoping that aiming a little farther in will help clear more due to splash. I'm unsure exactly how far I am from the brambles so if I need a double move to get into range, then I'll do this throw next turn.

Agreed. We have Myth grappling (and maybe pinning) him and Flix tethered to him. Everyone else should be on the brambles. Dolora took a move action to hand out two more flasks last round but if noone starts throwing I'm gonna retcon that and keep throwing myself (if GM allows)

Kalkamedes tries to struggle free, but Myth and Peth pin him down as flix and Jian hold him tight. He keeps struggling though, and clearly is not going to give up the fight.

Dolores meanwhile burns out some of the brush up ahead of the rest so that Angie will cut right to it without getting hurt.

@Dolora: There is 60 feet wide of brambles to work with, so far you've been cutting a 5 foot wide hole for kalkamedes to walk through.

Angie slices through the brambles like a hot knife through butter, getting in a deeper cut than expected.

Jian lobs a flask, but it twists off a little to the right... not burning as deeply as he had hoped, but still clearing a little bit of brush.

Maybe that'll take us to 50'...may have to maintain that grapple for a while. GM, does that take into account that Alchemist fire flasks deal damage for two consecutive rounds?

If the path is only 5' wide this is going to be slow going from here. Only one person at a time can be a'choppin. I know there are the acid flasks but I don't see them working too effectively here. I guess next turn I'll start running around the patch to cut from the other side.

Honestly guys your making some solid progress. Angie is clearing through 5/10 feet a round by himself depending on his rolls, and your half way through the brambles. And pinned, Kalk basically has to roll a 20 to escape. Sooooo for the sake of saving time....

With a path cut through the brambles, Myth will release his hold and rise, hoping the veteran will walk the path of least resistance. He'll walk alongside Kalkamedes and try to nudge/push him towards the path should the man stray from it...

It doesn't take much to set Kalkamedes down the narrow path of the brambles, though it's trickier for our heroes to follow along. As they are walking along, a voice comes from Flix's left, almost at his hip. It's a deep baritone and the voice of someone who has seen more than his fair share.

Was right good of ya ta not embarrass Kalka to much. The rope seems a bit much, but understandable. Everything's been so hard on him.

As Flix and the others look though, they see nothing, even as Kalkamedes passes out of the bramble.

You'll wanna keep up with him. Who knows what else is here. The voice says with a nonchalant air.
