TitaNik
TitaNik rouses immediately while MaNik sleeps off the rest of the poison.
The bigger Nik stands up and wipes his cheek off with his sleeve.
"Thanks."
After shaking his head a bit, he continues while pacing with his left hand pressed against his temple. "Okay, it's- ow- it's time to get rid of TitaNik. I can't- ow- risk two naps for the price of one again. Ow my head. Ow..."
Nikrir Leldro
After his minute long nap, MaNik wakes up.
The Niks look at eachother before MaNik says "I'm going to miss being big and strong."
TitaNik
TitaNik lies down on the ground and guides Skellington the 6th's spear over his heart before telling it to stab really hard.
Coup de Grace: 3d8 + 7 + 7 + 7 ⇒ (8, 1, 4) + 7 + 7 + 7 = 34
Fort save vs DC 44: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
RIP TitaNik
Nikrir Leldro
Nik cries out in pain as one of his two hearts is torn to pieces. Grasping his chest, he falls to his knees.
Then the remaining Nik collapses into a coma.
Baraxx
Baraxx watches this whole event with come not insignificant surprise, mouth slightly agape and some drool trickling out.
"Wow. Yeah... Wow. You all are something else."

Jek just blinks while watching his friend sorta kill himself.
He looks around at the corpses.
"Alright, everyone knows the drill. Corpses in the barrel and extra loot in the bag."
Baraxx
Baraxx shakes off the distrubing, even for him scene, shrugs, and wanders over to the pile of hacked and burned Drow to start looting.
"Lunk"
Lunk’s shoulders sink as TitaNik goes down.
Rinika
Rinika looks on in mild alarm. "Uhm....is he okay?"
She goes to check over Nik both for unexpected magic and for any signs of life.
heal: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (9) - 1 = 8
"Guys I...I think he succeeded too much." She looks around wide-eyed, not really ready to accept the death of another friend so soon.
Nikrir Leldro
Anyone remember the deathwatch goggles he wears? xD

if only Nik was around to get excited about equipping his Skellingtons
Nikrir Leldro
Right? xD
Low wis finally bites Nik in the butt hard xD
Baraxx
After helping the group sort and gather the loot, he looks around. "Well, where to now? Head to your guy and house Tormtor and see what's what? Or wander around here and slaughter a few more warbands, this was a nice haul."
20 CLW pots is very nice, especially with a wand too (who apart from Rinika can cast CLW though?) Should we just divide the potions up?
I wonder if we can just dump the poison in a skellington quiver, they can't get hit and I don't think anyone else uses it? Though a Savi poison delivery system might be a real fun trick
DM_Delmoth
I know I was out for a couple of days but I was hoping you'd decide on a plan, lol.
Nikrir Leldro
Nik is too unconscious to vote, but I vote Lunk honor his father Super Fiery Marco by taking as many shrooms as he can carry :D
Also a fan of asking around about Kestrod the vampified-and-staked-not-drow-anymore
"Lunk"
2 people marked this as a favorite.
Lunk will do what he can to lug one or both Nik’s, summoning an obedient mount or two if need be.
If gathering shrooms honors his father, Lunk hopes to find the extremely rare ones he’s only heard of—like the baby blue kind that makes you tiny as Savi is now, or the red and gold kind that grows you huge as a house, or the minty green kind that gives you an extra guy. But so far, the one person he’s ever seen actually get an extra guy killed his extra guy. So maybe that sucks.
I don’t want a Lunktanic.
…and what would life be with two Savis? ‘Hey’ in one ear, ‘listen’ in the other…
Lunk avoids the greener mushrooms just to play it safe.
"Savi"
2 people marked this as a favorite.
Be it coincidence or a kind of connection a ‘familiar’ has with her person, Savi is thinking the same thing.
Life with two mes. What would that be?
SAVITANIC: “Your hands are the same size as mine!”
SAVI: “Are you thinking…?”
SAVITANIC: “…what I’m thinking?”
BOTH SAVIs: “Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake baker's man
Bake me a cake as fast as you can…”
Rinika
Rinika ignores the speculation and tries to get the lay of the land. Does it look like there's anywhere around here where people might gather, or is it all a locked down war zone?
perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
Baraxx
Baraxx looks down at the pile of mushrooms, "So, we just split these evenly then ya? I got no use for this poison."
Seeing the cat girl looking around and deducing her activity he also looks about after flying a bit higher for a different perspective.
Perception: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (11) + 14 = 25
DM_Delmoth
In the area you only see the noble manors/walled fortresses, if people were to gather it would be within those walls. The sound of battle in the distance continues to ring out. Baraxx guesses that only heavily armed patrols would venture out in such a time, if you stuck to the road it only would be a matter of time before you encountered another one.
Jek Tal'dor
"We can split it up later."
Jek diligently packs away the equipment, packs three drow into the barrel, and ties Nik across his saddle.
"Hmm... He's still out. Anyone see a safer spot to wait it out?"
Nikrir Leldro
The newly-singular-again Nik drools slightly from his perch.
"Savi"
1 person marked this as a favorite.
“Bleah.” Savi prestidigitally cleans the drool.
Baraxx
"Doesn't look like there is a safe spot. Wandering around is only gonna lead to more of this." he gestures a hand to the scorched and blood spattered area of rock that used to hold a Drow war party.
"if this guy you are learning oking for is rebelling against Lloth, you may want to find him sooner than later because the rest of these elves seem pretty serious. I say we make our way to the fighting and see if we can't sneak or breakthrough. I still need to see the head of Tormtar, alive would be better at first ... I think."
DM_Delmoth
to the sounds of battle it sounds like. If you're staying off the road I need one stealth check and everyone's total based on that check.
"Savi"
Stealth: 1d20 + 3 + 9 + 3 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 3 + 9 + 3 + 8 = 38
Savi attempts to fly in stealth mode and use her bird’s-eye-view to keep the party outta murderhobo-ous situations. She can contact Lunk via Message to warn of danger.
Baraxx
Baraxx' stealth mod would be +1 Dex, -6 Armor so -5 total. If we are sneaking he'd use his ability to fly and maybe clank less?
Rinika
Rinika is a +25 with her cloak of shadows active, and she activates her subtle slippers to give a +5 to Baraxx, Jek, Lunk, and Horsington for an hour.
"Lunk"
Lunk has a 29, or 34 with Rinika’s bonus. (+14 Stealth)
Jek Tal'dor
Jek's stealth modifier is at 2 (+2 dex, -1 armor, -4 size, +5 Rinika)

(At-will Prestidigitation) Scarlet letters fall out of the sky in front of the gnome, one by one.

Each letter smashes to pieces and dissipates upon landing.
DM_Delmoth
"Lunk"
Haha… too bad I didn’t see that before rolling stealth!
Savi tells Lunk what she sees as she flies over. She has no idea who the guy is. But maybe if Lunk informs the others, one of them will know…
After describing and mentioning the gnome’s apparent person of interest, he adds, “I think Savi is kinda f!+$ing with him.”
DM_Delmoth
The gnome's spine stiffens as he sees the letters break apart in front of him. The gnome begins to flee.
"Savi"
“Relax,” Savi calls out (from above) as she follows him. “I’m not gonna hurt you. How about you tell me why you’re following us?
“If you promise not to hurt me, I’ll even stop being invisible.”
Baraxx
"Huh, wha?" Baraxx mutters and looks around at Lunk's message.
Perception: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19
But doesn't see anything and shrugs.
"Savi"
Savi hopes her gentle tone makes her sound non-threatening to the scared gnome.
Diplo: 1d20 + 3 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 3 + 9 = 25
Rinika
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
Kn:Local: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Rinika sees him and tries to sneak up on him herself. As he turns to run, she quietly says "boo! Sorry, no, we could be friends here. What are you doing in Drow territory?"
Also Diplomacy: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21
"Savi"
With Rinika at her side, Savi is not as scared now.
She appears seated on Rinika’s shoulder. She smiles and gives a friendly finger-wave to the gnome, willing more letters to fall from nowhere.

Also, Savi’s Diplo roll should be 27. I forgot to add her +2 CHA.

Jek points out the short gnome to Baraxx. "Do you know that little fella?"
DM_Delmoth
Real quick I wanted to change Nik's condition to sufficient Wis drain to bring it to 0.
Nikrir Leldro
ah, curable coma, then? Nik does still have that scroll in his haversack, though the 100gp version would be cheaper and just as effective...
DM_Delmoth

Rinika knows about the scroll in Nik's pack and it occurs to her that it may be enough to fix Nik enough to get him mobile again. It will not, however, cure him of his eccentricities.
The strange gnome cocks his head but something in your voices puts him visibly at ease.
Baraxx
Baraxx groans at the inquiry in yet another language he doesn't understand and grumbles.

Savi says some words in Sylvan, then she bellows in the baritonest voice she can muster and says something that sounds like fee-fi-fo-fum.
