Wasn't an attack so no, also it's a language dependent effect so you're always telling the target what they can't do. As a side note I'm certain that starting to cast a spell but failing to concentrate on it counts as casting a spell so shocking grasp is gone.

Skellington simply keeps swinging, not understanding the opportunity presented by Imogen's and Vaascht's swords locking together.

would you mind sharing those hot dice with Vaascht? Though I'm not complaining as Imogens dice are just as cold as his. It reminds me of playing HeroQuest long ago with a buddy and yelling "foam bats, foam bats!" When our heroes and goblin mooks went round after round with no damage between em

That's fine, I tried when I made my post but I was getting some weird errors.

Nik’s bolt sails at the advancing priest of Pale Night but it strikes his chainmail harmlessly. Skellington fairs better sinking it’s acquired longsword deep into Imogen’s chest while she is distracted by Vaascht. The githzerai magus clutches the wound and passes out clearly about to die. Jek calmly stabs the priest in the shoulder, the priest seems annoyed.
