Shrec puts away his sword. That's odd, I wasn't here a minute ago, or maybe I was daydreaming about and I was here all along, I can't explain it. How long have I been here pointing that sword at you? I could explain it, but that would beat the point playing a dumb fighter.

The World's Most Interesting GM |

I'll let Atum's initial dispel magic attempt stand (as he was ready to stop the waggling of fingers and puff of smoke even if he didn't know what Leventi was actually doing, as it is slightly more useful than turning invisible via vanish in this chamber). So I think Atum still has an action.

They were with me right here. and he describes the room he is in. There is no possible way I could have gotten here, I didn't move. The only logical explanation is that I must be dreaming and I teleported when I blinked. Cause you know, teleportation magic miles away can't possibly exist, cause if you can't see where you are going you can slam into any number of things. In a dream, that wouldn't matter.

Leventi |

I don't know what Atum is doing. The last I heard Atum was trying to turn himself invisible. So he's not doing that nor is he summoning anything at present that I know of.
Atum stand and fiddles with his jewelry.
"Wizard? I thought you were dead, or invisible, or summoning a cow something. Oh well, try, try again." Streams of hellfire pour from his fingertips.

Did the prior round bleeding stop with the second channel? If not, can we attempt a heal check or something?

Paracountess Zarta Dralneen |

Did the prior round bleeding stop with the second channel?
Yes. I just failed to update the tracker (mostly because I was at work at the time). The next one should be correct.
"GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME, MAN! THIS IS THE WHAT THE CHILDREN CALL THE BOSS BATTLE!" Zarta shouts at Atum. She slaps him hard on the face. "NOW ARE YOU A MAN, OR A WIZARD?!"
She casts heroism on Atum.

Atum feels terrible and probably smells fried elf. He saw how the contractor tries to burn down him and probably the most important living person in the hall - Zarta.

Probably, Atum misses, but he still wants to be a hero. He will cover Zarta as he can.

Where was Leventi when he cast his spell? He cast defensively so I assume he was threatened by me? No-one else seems to be close enough. While the casting does not provoke making the ranged attacks does. He also seems to have moved, does he provoke? I am not entirely sure how close I was to him at the end of my last turn but I think I was threatening him and it looks like he has moved more than 5'. I am using a reach weapon.

I am sure he was far enough and made just a 5-feet step. :(

The World's Most Interesting GM |

Atum is correct. He had actually stepped out of everyone's threat radius after disappearing Shrec, last round by taking a step into his vacant space, while Chandu battled the action and hands economy. The roll was pure muscle memory. Sorry for the confusion. Leventi has taken an additional 5-foot move since.
Atum's electric arrow flies past the nimble contract devil leaving the smell of ozone in its wake.

Shrec the Powerful |

Banishment? How do I get back home? Actually, wait a minute before sending me back if you have the power, like a whole minute, as I sold my soul for gold. If I go back there and fight that Devil, there is a chance I could die, wait a minute and he'll probably be defeated. It is a smart decision, cause you only go to Hell when you die, and my plan is to never die, all I need now is an antiageing spell when I get much older. And never get killed in combat. Therefore not dying of old age or by combat, I live forever. And with banishment spell, if the Earth (Glorian I think) is on the verge of destruction, like when the Sun is about ready to explode in 6 billion years, I just simply leave the planet.

Lasaraleen puzzles over Shrec's disappearance.
Well, phooey. That changes things a bit. Good job Chandra. Let's try something different. By the Dawn, smite this heathen!

Leventi |

Chandu drives her pole-arm into Leventi's flank.
"Damn it! That smarts!" shouts the devil. At first he looks angry at affront but then he considers. "You know though, that might just be a good look for me--pierced in the side by a spear. There's this one guy who made out very well with a spear wound."
Then the hellish light dims and spotlight shines down upon him.
Leventi will save v holy smite: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 20

Leventi raises his hands like a stage magician showing his audience he has nothing hidden in them. Then with horrible suddenness several of the contracts strung upon his impressive back horns unfurl like striking cobras!

"Silly girl, my mind is immune to such effects thanks to my epochs of time in the field of finance! I'm to big too fail!" brags the contract devil as another bolt of electricity flies past. Had Jair still had the ability to feel hope, no doubt such feelings would be dashed.
Chandu slips her spear down and then up suddenly as the devil made to advance stopping him cold. For once Leventi looks truly pained. "OOF!" He and all of his contracts recoil in a sort of communal wince.
Another of Zarta's bolts grazes the devil as he recovers.
Leventi's contracts--the one's on the wall as well as those coiled on his horns--strike out at Chandu striping her of more shadow clones!

Fighting a Devil named Leventi, that is where everyone is at. Now how do I get back?
"To Hell? Well...."

Shrec the Powerful |

Not by dying, I ain't doing it that way, just send me back to the material plane if that is the case. I'll be in Glorian and they can finish the last part of the mission without me. Pathfinder society still has to reward me for my work if I'm still alive.

"Well, slave?" the bone devil investigator asks of Vesh as he exits the wall scroll. "Has your feeble mortal master succeeded?"
Veshtahz shakes his head ant turnes upside down.
I feeeel. Master almost burned to his bones, I feel his pain and now his's calmness. No more exceptional threat. We saw Ghelius'es soul! Success! Master calling!- Doru translates his thoughts through telepathy and flys closer to scroll enter.

At the same time Atum sits to the floor and breaths heavily. He takes away his wand of CMW to return his skin back and also help Zarta with restoring after fire rays. But he appreciates Lasaraleens aid surely, if she still got some divine power.
If I need to spend some wand -- 2 charges self, 5 charges for Zarta.
I do not think Shrec's dead. He is probably in some sort of maze or just in another place. Wether or not you all made good job. Chandu, you are one of the strongest half-elf I met! Chandu stabs the annoying devil a couple of extra times to make sure he is dead. Well, that was unpleasant. Let's hope Shrec is alright wherever he is, not much we can do about it now.
She looks over the soul of Gellius and then at Zarta. So, can we just take it or is it likely to be horribly trapped? Also, do we have to leave Leventi alive? I am in a devil killing mood.

Zarta's eyes burn with magic for a few moments before she says "It seems safe, but we'll need the contract as well." Zarta retrieves the soul jar and the contract for Gellius's soul and holds them up in the firelight for inspection.
The face in the jar looks hopeful and then appreciative. It mouths something unheard through the glass.
The party was given permission from Vetrivides to arrest or destroy Leventi as they like.

after healing and drinking some water Atum going to investigate this place with Detect Magic and help of upcoming Doru.
Taking 10 on the Spellcraft checks with Zarta's help Atum uncovers Leventi's handy angel skin haversack. It is angel soft. Within are several contracts written in various languages most of which are not spoken on Golarion (one is Ameraic). There are some gemstones (for bribes, no doubt), and several carefully wrapped bits of infernal armor (this functions as demon armor but resembles a cornugon and inflicts poison with its claw attacks rather than contagion).
Anything else, folks want to do before leaving for your return trip through the hellmouth--that I should probably mention is across town?

Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin |
Now how do I get back?
"The only way you'll land anywhere close to where you left is if you take the hellmouth." says the Venture-Captain pointing to the wide, fleshy maw of teeth and flame roiling and snapping at the air from within a chalk circle in an area cleared of the debris created when it first erupted from the archive floor. It roars as if daring the warrior to try.
The exit on the other side is about 3 hours from Leventi's 666th floor scriptorium in the Fallen Fastness by foot.

The World's Most Interesting GM |

Nothing more in the room where was Leventi?
The big wall contracts and the devilish armor in the glass display cases. Oh, and 6,500 gold pieces (130 pounds of gold) laying on the floor in big pile. The contracts and the armor have faint auras of preservation magic on them to allow them to escape time's deteriorating grasp.
