behind you, you hear a very small voice say something in Sylvan

ice starts to form in a small bloc on the teleporter tile to the South of the room

meanwhile, Linge works to pinpoint locations of magical auras. one is coming from Mierul. one from each of the two ice teleporter tiles. another one behind the door next to Linge, one from the room on the other side of the closest mirror to her, and the last one on the other side of the wall closest to Horn

”Looks like one of them is leaving!” Shouts Garran. He runs toward the icy transporter as quickly as he can in his heavy armor.

"Yes, it is!" Linge briefly abandons her magic search, and whistles for Horn to attack. Faster than Garran, he reaches the teleporter tile in seconds. Move action, Standard Attack

Claw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Damage: 1d3 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Concealment, Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 1
Guess it's more of a claw attack than a bite, against an invisible enemy. Not sure if his Scent can factor in the miss chance, though

Emphasis added; I don't think a creature with scent needs to roll miss chance if within 5' of the target.

To add to that; I'd argue that the forming ice constitutes a valid target, and the sprite no longer has concealment from any attacks!

Eladorn dashes across the room to get a line on the transporter, and sends an arrow at the small patch of ice forming there. "Blessings from Ol' Deadeye!" the hunter exclaims as he watches his arrow fly true.

Horn sniffs out the fey right before it teleports away. between a bite and a very accurate arrow, the fey dies, shattering the ice cube.

Garran pivots to face the new threat. Or is it the other fey, trying to escape in the other direction?

Horn barely takes the time to close his jaws on the fairy's corpse to make sure it's properly dead. Hearing the door opening, Linge whistles him a second time, and he rushes across the room to attack.

Move action: 40 ft
Standard action: Attack

Claw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Damage: 1d3 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Unfortunately, he misses completely, his claws ineffectively scratching at ice walls.

Meaning, Linge rushes to Mierul's side to search her for anything useful- especially the magical item she apparently has on her.

Shael seems confused at Eladorn's command at first, but his nostrils flare and he seems to understand. He lowers his head and stabs his antlers forward into the gap in the doorway.

the two animals find the fey and attack it. Shael clips it while horn misses. Eladorn uses their attack to help pinpoint where the creature is and skewers it, burning it with cold iron. it dies and becomes visible again.

the room is now still, the animals do not point towards any new scents. what do you do now?

Linge tries to figure out what the potions are, but they are odorless, and... Woops, here goes a sip. Rather tasteless.

"Er... Water?... I really don't know..." Befuddled, she hands the vials over to Garran. "Do you think we can use the transporter to go up?" she quickly changes the subject.

”My guess would be no.” Garran says thoughtfully. ”Probably need the word ‘up’ in a rhyme to go up.” He smirks. ”Chase your tail just like a pup. That’s what to do if you wanna go up.” He grins. ”Is probably not it.”

Linge chuckles uncontrollably, though the joke isn't that good. Perhaps it's her nerves.

"What do we do with her?" she looks down at Mierul. "If we wake her up, she might sound the alarm... And she's loyal to the Jadwiga. Maybe tie her up somewhere? As in, down the teleporter, and lock her in some room?"

”Maybe we should finish checking this floor.” He glances at Mierul. ”She won’t be going anywhere for awhile.”

"How about that open door first?" Linge glances at the door that one of the fairies left ajar. "Be careful, Eladorn. My spell must have worn off by now..."

Before moving forward, Linge picks up the potions and elixir. She detects magic on the necklace and weapon, intending to take them as well if they're magical.

She makes sure that Mierul's not at any risk of dying from blood loss before moving on to the next room. Horn messed up her arm quite a bit.

And the two arrows she took from Eladorn probably didn't help.

Linge moves to check out the open door.

A long red carpet extends from the western doorway of this mirrored hall between ice sculptures of twin nymphs, ending at an open alcove to the east. Passageways continue north and south, following the contours of the tower’s outer wall, where windows look out over the open courtyard below.

Garran calls on Iomedae’s power again to check the new area for magic auras. Then he begins to give the hall a quick search.

"I hope it's not trapped," Linge glances at Eladorn, probably the most likely of the party to be trained in detecing traps.

She gives out a low whistle to call Horn to her side. " Come on, boy. Seek! Look for enemies!" she says in Skald, and the cub starts sniffing around.

Perception (Horn): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 Horn perceives that he's in a room. It's quite cold. Strangely slippery

the tiles at the far end of the hall are magical. nothing else in this room reads as magical, but there are other auras through the doors on either side of the hall.

Horn gets distracted by a smell, then realizes it is himself and starts cleaning himself noisily.
