Arwen had to move to get a shot on the goblin. She missed her REF save and fell on the grease. I have adjusted the map.

Arwen REF SV: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Cocoa moves up so she can see the goblin and get a clear shot. "Itchy koboko!" Then she shot her acid splash at the goblin. The acid splashed into the wall nearby.

Cocoa attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 61d3 ⇒ 3

Tigerlilly runs across the cave to Cappuccino and casts magic fang on him. Then Capp rushes toward the goblin but fails to get a claw on the slippery little thing.

Claw atk: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 91d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Emmy steps toward the goblin and lets out a dissonant note as part of a song that sends forth a shower of crystalline shards.The shards pepper the little creature but it manages to keep its feet.

Shard dmg: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4

Gobline REF: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Grak takes off at a full run, quickly closing the distance to the goblin. He plants his right foot in front of the foul creature and allows his warhammer to carry his full momentum into the goblin's torso.
Warhammer: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

The blow raises the little thing off the ground making an audible crack as it does so. The body lands three feet inside the tunnel the goblin had just opened.

"Well then, into the tunnel, unless someone else has a suggestion?" Arwen says hopping off the ground.

Grak nods to Arwen, readies his shield, and steps into the new tunnel. "Alright, let's see what these little boogers are scared of."

The tunnell is narrow with those other than the halfling and gnome having to squeeze through. It exits into a cramped cavern that reeks of stale sweat and dried blood. Tucked into the far corner is a filthy straw bed made from ratty hides and moldy clothes. Off to the side sits a pair of chests, one of which is open and filled to the top with a strange assortment of clothes.

"Wow-wee, I thought there might be a trap on the ground. Does anyone know how to check for traps? There might be a trap in this room such as on the chest." Cocoa says after moving into the room.

As Cocoa heads down the exit tunnel she rounds the corner and sees a ghastly beast, perhaps a hobgoblin, savaging the corpse of a goblin at the foot of some sort of altar. While this room may have been used as a shrine long ago, its contents are now a ghastly mockery of its former purpose. To the south, an altar upon a raised dais is surrounded by mosaics depicting a stern woman with long, flowing white hair, all of which has been slathered in filth and gore. The whole area reeks of decay and cloying, clotted blood.

It does not seem to notice you at the moment.

Cocoa lets everyone know what she sees.

Arwen readies her bow, not sure what the plan of action is, She will fire if needed.

Hearing the whispered description, Grak understands exactly what is going on, who the stern woman is supposed to be, and what the hobgoblin is trying to do. He quickly let's the others know.
Knowledge(Religion): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25

I'm glad my character knows, but I sure don't. I'm assuming if it is something important that he would need to move quickly on, he does so. Otherwise, please let us know what Grak knows. :-)

@Grak: it is a statue of Pharasma the goddess of the dead but what the hobgoblin is doing to the body in no way matches any description of Pharasma rights, just the opposite. She is the guide to the underworld who helps souls find their way.

"That thing seems to be desecrating an altar of Pharasma. So it's not up to any good, that's for sure. Let's see if we can sneak up on it while it's distracted." He glances down at his clanky metal armor, "Or would we prefer to just charge in?"

"Anyone who wants to sneak with me head in first. Then everybody with Grak in a charge."

Arwen will sneak attack from behind Coa-Coa."I'll move a tad closer with you all," She says as she lines up a shot.

Cocoa whispers, "Come on." and lets her light wink out and then moves stealthily forward.

Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19

There are no light sources in here. It would seem that Drakus was too busy eating to notice the light filtering in but it is now pitch black with Coaco releasing her light. You hear her whisper and then she effectively disappears.

Tigerlilly touches Cappuccino on the back and it bursts into light. Then she orders him, "Attack."

Cappuccino wastes no time and runs down the hall straight to the hobgoblin and attempts to bite the thing.

Cap atk: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 221d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Arwen releases her arrow from the shadows, her hood on her head. She whispers something in elvish, as the arrow leaves her bow with lightning speed. She gives a triumphant cry as the arrow thunks into her enemy.
Shortbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7

Are we gonna do initiative or does someone else wanna sneak attack?

I'll get with the girls tomorrow for their surprise round actions.

After the others move in stealthfully, he takes of charging through the small tunnel while the others let loose their surprise attacks. He makes it up to the hobgoblin, as it is suffering from several attacks, and yells "Surprise, scumbag!"

Double move to get up to the hobgoblin. No attack since he can't charge in a straight line. Hopefully he'll draw it's attention though or at least keep it at bay.

This was not so much a sneak attack as automatic initiative in round 1. Cocoa was the only one able to sneak because it is dark in here and she is the only one who could see. Then light was brought back into the picture when Tiger Lilly cast light on Cappuccino. The dinosaur was fast enough to move and attack.

Emmy moves down the tunnel following Cappuccino and takes up a position on the dinosaur's right flank.

Cocoa comes out of hiding and murmurs a spell sending a blob of acid at the beast. Then she whispered, "I hope this works."

Arwen's arrow flies true but it does not penetrate like she would expect. Cappuccino and Cocoa seem to have full effect with their attacks. in a horrific display, that even seems to disgust Cappuccino, the creatures facial features melt away revealing a smooth head with only a hungry maw. It roars and lashes out with its sword at Cappuccino.

Grak raises his warhammer high but flinches at the hobgoblins ugliness and his attack goes wide.

Emmy takes a step up the small stairs and lunges at the beast with her rapier. It hits but does not quite pierce the creature's rubbery skin.

Cocoa murmurs a spell and sends forth another blob of acid at the creature.

Tiger Lilly moves up behind Cappuccino and casts cure light wounds on him. For his part, Cap continues to attack the beast. The dinosaur's bite sinks in but the claws fail to gain purchase.

Arwen Attempts to attack from behind the group, she waits for an opening, when the time is right, she releases. She does not triumph this time, merely prepares to notch another arrow.

Drakus swings at Cap and steps back up the stairs to avoid being flanked. He misses and growls at all around him.

Arwen draws her bow, and fires an arrow with lightning speed. Arwen is glad the arrow flies true, but it did not give the result she expected. She curses herself in elvish for not pulling the string back to her cheek. "A rookie mistake..." She tells herself.

Grak attempts to pull the creatures attention towards himself as he slams it with his hammer. However, he only manages to slam it down on the rock at his feet and make a loud bang.

Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

The Goblin's up

Actually, Emmy and Tiger Lilly are up. I will try to get their actions tomorrow.

Emmy takes a step closer to Drakus and attempts to run the beast through but misses as he side steps.

Cappuccino runs around the sepulcher and scrabbles over it to bite at Drakus. He misses. Tiger Lillie begins to summon an eagle.

Cap atk: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 111d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Drakus turns and attacks the dinosaur who has moved up behind him.The numerous opponents keeps him from focusing and he misses.
