I think I have all the Temp HP mixed up.
FAQ: http://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1fm#v5748eaic9r43
I always went with the largest like any bonus, but different sources stack. So At this point most people's Temp HP are burned though, and no one has any significant damage. I will make the updates on the next status slide.
Still learning at times :)

FYI I will be at a con starting this evening. So there will not be many posts this weekend.

Slowly catching up on things.

They are half-brass dragon dire lions with delusion of grandeur.
Your suspicion is confirmed when they look at Par oddly to her gibberish.
They don't speak Draconic
Brass Dragons (and pretty much all dragons) speak Draconic and would have understood me along with Sphinx which I thought they were. The half-dragon template does not remove their language capability. They can certainly ignore me or pretend they don't understand, but that is a language they know.

I think the GM probably has a better idea than you as to what languages they speak. Also the half dragon template doesnt grant languages to the starting creature (here, dire lions).

I have yet to find a Dragon in Pathfinder that can speak common but doesn't speak Draconic. Maybe this is the one elusive super-unique creature in all of the game that can do it.
Not that I really care, I'm going to heal it all the same next round and then talk to it in common since it already used that with us.

I was just as surprised. And now that it is over I can let you know. Sphinxes do speak draconic.
The Half-Dragon Template does not impart the ability to speak draconic. It does give the creature a +2 to INT. However Dire Lions start with an Int of 2 so it brings it INT up to 4. It does not give them the additional language.
I found it very amusing that they did not and thus makes the encounter more interesting.
These were oversized house cats with more than the usual delusions of grandeur that a normal cat would possess.

No worries, they shouldn't even speak Common since a base animal of dire lion doesn't have a language either (other than a beast lion language) and adding +2 int wouldn't add any language skills.
I have to give a bit of leeway to the developers of the module because they wrote it for a slightly different audience to get them interested in Pathfinder. They needed to write in a special ability (common speech) to make the module work.

Doubtful tried laying down, he just got all greasy! =)
Picturing this Jason Statham scene, we just need more mooks!

By the way I'm at a conference through the end of the week. RootsTech in Salt Lake City, Utah if anyone was interested. I'm still checking in on the game but limited posted during the daytime conference hours. Then driving all day in the snow on Sunday.
Doubtful

For the record, I have no problem is anyone wants to lay down an AE effect at any point, that catches Doubtful.
Part of the risk if leaping into the middle of things, as he is want to do.... and as Numair mentions, it helps confirm his life views.
As long as its a reflex save, with Improved Evasion, I only take half if I fail (and none of course if I make the save)... with the temp hit points, it likely to not be that big a hit!
And fun to RP. =)

Blend also doesnt mind if you need to include him in aoe effects. He also has evasion and a very good reflex save.

I am driving for the next two days heading to AdeptiCon. I'll be at the Con in classes painting minis all day for five days, then another two days of driving back. Just so you know, my postings will be a little interrupted but I will try to catch up at least once a day (probably at night).
