He then makes a magically fast dash in a straight line toward the blue demon, leaving a multi-hued cascade of images behind him. As he arrives he is already swinging his mindblade at the creature.

Gordy steps up and brings his fancy blunted water blade to bear on the fat-suit demon, striking it hard but not quite as much as expected (DR).

Taniian dashes forward, images of him moving echoing in the eyes in a fantastic manner. His strike is true, though his blade seems to be turned away at the last moment and not doing any damage (DR).

Guy repositions and aims carefully, putting an arrow straight through the beasts big ugly worm mouth. It gurgles around the arrow in anger.

Flip zips past so fast you can hardly see him, tossing a net onto the ground for the enemy to maybe trip on.

The big ole chunky body surrounded man-worm thing steps back and pours out of the neckhole of it's body, consuming some of the flesh. The body lays limp on the ground as the now almost identical to the other Vermlek waves its tails in a similar manner to its ally. They point at Gordy, Guy and itself. Like before, a wave of negative energy crashes down upon the three. Gordy and Guy take 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 negative energy damage, Will DC 16 for 1/2.

The other one that fled, sensing no enemies nearby, works its way back towards the group, bursting out of the earth and waving it's tentacles again. The familiar effect of negative energy slams into Gordy and Torsten again while healing its own wounds.

My bad Guy, you did not take the damage there. Cut and Paste error on my part. I got it right in most of the post with Gordy and Torsten being targeted. But some good news incoming!

Taniian casts a spell, charging his blade with energy and then steps up next to the enemy. He slashes twice, hitting once and discharging the spell. Both the blade and the spell seem to harm the beast, though it still stands...

...until Guy and an unknown ally drill it with two arrows, sending it back to its native plane in a flash of smoke. (Blue is Gone!)

Torston's axe cleaves a mighty wound into the beast, yet it still stands though the injuries it has sustained make you think it won't be for much longer. Gordy casts a quick patch of grease underneath it, looking to take it to the ground and limit its options.

It almost seems like it would stay up, but at the last second tumbles to the ground. Seeing it's end near and being cornered, it takes a snap with its jaws at the biggest target in front of it.

The jaws simply close around a heavily armored shin, but fail to penetrate the armor. Torsten looks down in disgust and hacks its head completely off. With a puff of sulfer it disappears.

Kreighton Shane moves to a different part of the warding circle and interjects, "nicely done, but don't get comfortable. I'm only about half done and more demons could come."

Torsten was beginning to look a little sour round the edges what with all the alkali and internal bruising magic. He quickly prods himself with his own wand, keeping a wary eye around.

With a variety of quickly activated heals and a weird little dude sprinting past, pausing to channel some healing into the group, everyone seems mostly ready. Suddenly, on top a nearby roof appears another possible threat!

Standing just over three feet tall, a bestial humanoid wears filthy, tattered robes and has blue-gray skin decorated with strange, coiling stripes. Dark fur grows on its head and arms, and its feet end in burning hooves. Its eyes glow as red as the flaming sword it wields in one hand, and its breath fills the surrounding air with noxious gray smoke.
