OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT
Strong victories have been achieved in the Battle district, and Egelsee appears to be doing well with only sporadic attacks on them. The Woundward and Confluence districts still have sustained demonic attacks in progress, and the Outer district is struggling to remain controlled.
The enemy is attempting to reinforce their positions and begin pushing the Pathfinders back...
GM TOP
Flip and Big Sky scout ahead, zooming around above the buildings and checking down each street. They and the group are not sure what to be looking for, be it the scaley reptile-demon or one of the awful monstrosities they were warned about. Flip thinks he sees something squirming in the corner of the street and wheels around for a closer look. As he approaches, Torsten rounds the corner. Yelling out a warning, Flip stops the dwarf from wandering into...
...a seemingly mundane puddle that is suddenly revealed to be more as the creature grows to reveal it's true form, terrible and gross to behold. A giant wibbly wobbly corrosive booger lurches forwards.
Flip: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

“Considering I’ve complained about just getting wet in the past, I think you have done remarkably well Torsten. I do hope that gunk comes out of your beard!”
GM TOP
Dana holds her mighty powers back, maybe having an identity crisis.
Gordy steps up and his water axe hacks through the creature, many wobbles caused by its passing.
Torston takes another swing, slashing quite a bit of slime away with his axe. The creature still stands, quite resilient these oozes are apparently.
With a small little lob, Taniaan tosses a small vial. It pops open upon contact, spraying the blob with a large amount of extremely reactive basic solution. You can see the chemical reaction within the clear body as it causes the entire structure to shudder then collapse back into a puddle of goo. A small amount of the chemical sprays onto Torston and Gordy, sizzling their beards and flesh. (1 hp damage each)
Flip and Guy, ready to pepper it with more arrows, hold their aim steady until sure the creature won't be reappearing.
SUCCESS!!!
You can hold the aid token or use it to heal up the 1 damage to the two players. Your choice. Shall we stay in this district or swap?

Taniian shrinks back within himself a little at Torsten's response, "I meant no disrespect," he mumbles.
Watching Gordy dry his fellow dwarf Taniian observes "Those are some mighty useful skills you have there, Gordy." He then adds to both dwarves, "I'm sorry about the fallout from that flask, it is the first time I've used one but was assured it was the best thing for any kind of ooze."
Lining up behind Guy, Taniian checks his gear, makes sure his mindblade is at full strength and tries for a determined and confident voice, "Yes, let us proceed. Lead the way, good sir."

Guy waves for Torsten to take the lead and he follows along.

As you wander around the district looking for trouble to trounce a runner bolts around the corner, eyes wide as he sees your group tromping along. Gasping for breath, "DEMONS IN THE CITADEL! NEED YOUR HELP!"
As you sprint back to the base of operations, the sounds of battle from inside echo out. However, just as you are readying to burst inside and join you see a familiar face drawing out a ritual circle while constantly looking around watching his own back.
Kreighton Shane, the Pathfinder Society’s Master of Scrolls calls you over, “friends, the demons have found their way into the Starrise Spire and show no signs of relenting. Even now, agents battle them within the lodge, and we cannot keep this up. Luckily, I have been researching some ancient rituals that should allow us to keep the demons outside of the Spire, and give us time to regroup. I know the rites, but I need protection while I enact them. I trust you will protect me while I do this dangerous deed, yes?”
If so, then the below occurs as you spread out to defend the Master of Scrolls as he begins his ritual.

Gesturing towards the circle, Guy asks Taniian “Is this something we shouldn’t walk across? Any special precautions needed?”
Taniian Roloval

Suddenly feeling braver and stronger, Taniian replies, "It looks similar to an Elven Warding ritual. It is, however, being performed by the Master of Scrolls against a major invasion so I do not want to disturb any element of the ritual. Not only could it potentially interfere with the magic, but I also imagine there could be consequences more immediate. I don't know for sure, just being cautious."
Is Bless still active? It seems like we moved on pretty quickly but time can be deceptive.
GM TOP
Instead of the usual 30, there would be a bit less than normal between these encounters since you never swapped districts. But since the districts are large it was still a lot of running around. Thus, 15 minutes passed since your last encounter and Bless would be gone. Mage armor on Big Sky would still be up though. Bot request initiated.

Moving things along.
Moving into view is what appears to be a large humanoid...
The corpulent man reels on his feet as if drunk, but as he gets closer the horrific truth is revealed — he’s not so much reeling as he is seething from within, as if his internal organs were coiling and writhing like a knot of greased snakes. Suddenly, with a hideous retching and tearing sound, the man’s face blooms out like a rotten flower and a pallid, five-jawed worm extrudes itself from the ragged hole in the neck where, only a moment before, a head sat.
Popping out of the ground near that monstrosity is a fat-headed worm with four long tails, each of which ends in a wriggling nest of long filaments. In total it is about 7 feet long (with its filaments giving it a further 3 feet of length).
Both creatures are coming straight for the group.
