Definitely okay. Thanks for the bot. I could have sworn I posted for that round. My apologies.

Lors must truly be at the edges of her endurance as her rain of blows with the ancient Azlanti trident fail to penetrate the Aeon Guard armor.
Rril makes another concealed shot and strikes the central viewing lens on the armor just like Steve. However, his slug shatters the view port and the guard drops to the floor in a growing pool of blood.
Since Rril goes before Antenor, we'll just ignore that double-edged sword of a critical effect.
Cedona has finished freeing herself from the restraints by the time you finish that fight and return. The ominous, silent blinking red lights along the ceiling punctuate the truth to Antenor's statement.
"You're right. We're going to have to get ourselves out fast," Cedona says. "I reactivated my Steward status when the Azlanti attacked Nakondis. I had sent a message to the Stewards and recommended you to them. I assume they found you?"
She picks up a sonic screwdriver and begins to seal several of her techno-organic plates that had been pried up by the Azlanti inquisitor.

Antenor of Akiton |

"Yeah, we need to get out, but we need to patch ourselves up first. Is there anything here that could help?" Antenor begins searching the room, and the dead, for anything of value. He crosses his fingers for some healing sera.

Srygzink 'Steve' Halfheart |

"But, what about my ship?" Steve frowns. But if anything Steve was an optimistic. Glass half-full kind of guy. "Can we at least blow the ship up?"

![]() |

"We got what we came for," Haro says. "Let's get out of here, and there will be time to rest soon."
"Was there anything we still needed to do here, or are we good to go?"

GM Blake |

You have accumulated four suits of Aeon Guard trooper battle dresses with their associated clear spindle aeon stone, four Aeon Guard assault rifles and sixteen magazines of 100 bullets each, four thunderstrike pulse gauntlets with eight batteries, four incendiary grenades, three frag grenades Mk II, an estex suit Mk II with infrared sensors, a tactical dueling sword, a tactical trilaser with a single battery, and a yellow cabochon aeon stone.
"Haro is right," Cedona says. "We should not tarry too long, but if we need to take a breather, this is as defensible a place as any. Once we're ready, maybe we should look for an airlock."
You figure that you could try to sneak back to your ship across the moon's surface with enough environmental protection for the rescued prisoners. Or you could fight your way back through whatever defenses have been summoned.

Antenor of Akiton |

"It won't make the vids, but I'm not keen on fighting the world, and would rather we sneak back." Antenor grabs at least one frag grenade, and will grab more if no one objects.

![]() |

Haro nods. "Especially where all the prisoners are in poor shape," he says. "Fighting would just put them at risk. We should sneak back and divide up this loot," he adds.

GM Blake |

I've updated the minimap on slide #4. Yellow trapezoids are airlocks. Red dots are guards that you know you didn't kill yet.
Make a plan, if you want. Otherwise, I'll assume you take a breather and spend RP and head to the nearest, presumably unguarded airlock.

GM Blake |

You take a moment to sort, scavenge, and store what you can of the Azlanti elite guards' equipment. You figure the three freed prisoners can wear the soldier armor as environmental suits, and Steve jury rigs something for Grub (though it's probably best that Grub doesn't spend too long out on the moon's surface).
Cedona looks uneasy and impatient, but she lets you rest while she tries to hack into the Azlanti computer. "Besmara!" she curses and punches her fist into the console. "Nothing here."
When you all turn to stare at her, she explains briefly, "The Azlanti found a technomagical relic they call a runedrive. The Sardat Zolan Ulivestra engineered the attack on Nakondis. My gentle host serves--served the Sardat Ulivestra and kept me here off the books. My guess is that the Sardat doesn't want the other noble houses to know about the runedrive or what he's up to. If the Azlanti figure out how it works and can recreate it, the Azlanti Star Empire will have an incredible tactical advantage over the rest of, well, everyone."
She blinks at you. "What? You don't think I learned how to gain intelligence while being tortured from my time as a Steward? I'll explain more once we're out of here and safe."

Steve begins to shove Cedona and the rest out of the room. "Less talk, more walk then." He strips another stretch of ducttape across Grub's suit. "That shouldn't leak, we are ready. Go, go, go!"

![]() |

"The Azlanti having a technological advantage over everyone sounds like the last thing this galaxy needs," Haro says.
"Let's get back to safety and you can tell us more about it."

![]() |

"Some special, advanced starship technology that no one else has?" Rril ponders. "We definitely need to get ahold of it and get it to market...er, I mean...out of the hands of these Azlanti."

GM Blake |

Gathering everything that you can salvage, you head out into the halls. Talmrin's crewmates follow you as swiftly as their tortured bodies can. You can't help but notice that Cedona seems to be in less fit shape than she would like you to believe. The hall is now unguarded; you apparently killed the reinforcements intended to hold this section.
You enter the infirmary across the central station where you know there to be an airlock from Steve's downloading of the blue prints and find an elderly Azlanti not equipped for combat. He turns to you and initially seems welcoming as the disguised humans enter, "You look like whatever tripped that alarm took a bite out of--"
He trails off and his expression turns cold as Lors passes through the door. Dressed in a white lab coat and carrying no weapons, he makes no move of aggression.
There is a medical station in the center of the room. The airlock is to the north, and next to the airlock is a cabinet that appears to be holding several estex suits.

GM Blake |

The Azlanti clinician crosses his arms and stares daggers at Antenor.

The clinician uncrosses his arms, though his expression is not less unfriendly. He taps his fingers on the control screen of the medical station and curtly says, "The patient."
Assuming you trust the Azlanti prison doctor to not secretly poison you or remove your spleen under the pretext of giving in to your threats, Lors can lie down upon the medical table.
The mechanical arms begin to move swiftly with soft humming sounds. Lights flicker along the instrumentation arms as the table does its work with the clinician directing it at the console. Lors' wounds are sterilized and the superficial cuts and burns are sealed with antiseptic wound adhesive. Deeper injuries are picked clean of foreign material and knit together with absorbable nano-fibers.
Once it is all finished, it seems the Azlanti performed excellent work, though he cares none for any gratitude. Lors feels almost as good as new.

Rril manages to hide his shot until the last moment, taking out a telescopic eye. Lor drives her trident into the zombie, but her grip slips and the second strike goes wide.
