Antenor shudders once more at Steve's ballet, then moves to the pens with his weapon out.

Tseekchik seems to be lost in though for a while while looking toward Grub, who has stopped her wandering and is standing still. After a moment, the shirren says, "I can tell they are intelligent, but they do not seem to understand Pact Common or any other language that I know."

Mothkala takes an arc pistol and a taclash from one of the slain guards before joining you.

You head toward one of the two places in the prison block that you have not gone and the only place where the camera feeds have been disabled, concluding that they are the slave pens. The red emergency strobes continue silently as you march down the hall.

Steve has little trouble activating the door from the central control station, and then you make your way into the sound proof room. Moving slowly and quietly, you peer around the edge of the wall and see two Aeon guards and an Azlanti officer. She has removed her helmet, which sits upon the desk against which she lounges, wiping sweat from her brow.

Beyond her, you can see the booted feet of a humanoid apparently lying across some sort of operating table.

Talmrin's Advice: While the moon's surface lacks atmosphere and is surveilled by cameras, it does provide an alternative--if dangerous--route back to the hangar than heading back through the prison.

Haro readies his pike and prepares to enter.

"Charge in?" he asks his companions.

Seizing the opportunity before it gets crowded, Antenor lobs a grenade into the room as an answer to Haro's question:

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 DMG: 1d6 ⇒ 5 to Blue and Red. I would have drawn the grenade prior to the door. If so, Antenor will shout a Get'em! on blue. If he couldn't have had the grenade out, then skip the get'em.

"Hey diddle diddle, straight up the middle!"

"Burn 'em all up, like cakes on the griddle." chimes Rril, before he adds by way of explanation, "Never really been much of a cook, myself."

"Is there any other way." Steve is delighted as Antenor tosses a grenade into the middle of the room. "You will make a find crewmember yet!"

Antenor tosses his grenade in front of the two Aeon Guards. They both look down as the explosive rolls to a stop. Their faceless helmets hide whatever expression they have been displaying before shrapnel pelts them and the room. Before the dust settles, they are lifting their assault rifles to fire.

Having taken even his allies by surprise, the Akitonian is ready to act as swiftly as the Azlanti.

Antenor takes out another grenade before leaning back for the others to have clean entry. "See that one? Get'em!" Not sure which ones he can see without moving. It might only be blue. If he can see the woman, he chooses her. If not, Blue.

One of the Aeon Guards shouts in Azlanti, "Protect the warden!"

He draws a grenade from his belt and expertly tosses it past Antenor where it rolls to a stop next to Lors. It explodes, creating a wall of fire for a moment across the hallway. Fortunately for those behind Lors, she is so large that they are outside the blast radius.

Rril rolls out of the flames with barely a scorch mark on his armor and raises his rifle in one fluid action. He aims at the closest guard and then swiftly switches his aim. His slug ricochets off of the Aeon Guard's helmet, leaving a deep dent.

Haro charges into the room and delivers the nearest enemy a devastating blow with his pike.

Haro charges into the room and slams the point of his pike through the Aeon Guard's armor with a satisfying crunch. Less satisfying is that the high trained Azlanti warrior seems less phased than he might have hoped. The vidtuber also sees the tattooed Azlanti woman standing next to a table clearly designed for torture with the red-skinned android Cedona lying atop it.

Charging through the fire, Lors tries to impale the guard in front. Her watering eyes foil her aim, and the trident passes wide of her intended target.

"What is that thing!?" shouts the guard as Lors charges into view. He lets go of his rifle and throws a punch at the shobhad. The powered gauntlet roars with concussive force as it strikes, bruising the shobhad internally.

Steve pushes is drone onto the ceiling as he skitters into the far side of the room. "Get 'EM!" He roars in delight as the prisoners all begin to fight for his new ship.

Double Move

"I'm going to kill you all for what you've done," shouts in a hoarse whisper as she strides forward and fires the pulsecaster she took from the slain guard. The shot goes wide and strikes the back wall harmlessly.

The female Azlanti officer scoffs at the motley assortment of intruders and draws a three-barreled laser from her belt. She taunts Lors in slightly accented Pact Common, "Our science officers will enjoy experimenting with you. You are a female of your kind, yes? So we will be able to propagate your species for additional experimentation."

The threat falls flat on the shobhad, though.

Antenor fires a solid shot into the Aeon Guard with the most damaged armor. The electricity sends sparks across the exposed plating.

"Focus on the big one!" the other Aeon Guard shouts as he punches against the shobhad's armor repeatedly with little deleterious effect on Lors. "Hells. We need energy weapons to bring this one down!"

Haro points at the Aeon guards. "You should focus on running!" he says, and a palpable aura of fear exudes from his mind.

Lors bellows a challenge as she lays about her with her trident, smashing Azlanti aside with each blow!

Lors will ignore Blue and Red if they're frightened, stabbing with her 15' reach for Mothkala if she needs a third target

The least injured of the Aeon Guard breaks heedless of the shobhad's dangerous reach and runs to hide in the corner.

"Coward!" shouts the woman commander.

Lors turns her trident on the remaining Aeon Guard. The first blow, while powerful, fails to fell the Azlanti elite. Her second blow, however, drives all three glamored prongs through the breastplate and forces the guard to the ground where he lays still.

Rril moves forward and finds it quite easy to distract the frightened Aeon Guard. He shoots him in the knee between a seam in his armor.

Steve fires his laser pistol at the Azlanti general as Oonopidae releases a gout of flames into her. "You are going to burn. This ship belongs to Srygzink 'Steve the Unreliable' Halfheart!"

"Argh!" the Azlanti commander screams as flames roll over her.

Mothkala staggers forward and fires her pulsecaster at the first Azlanti in sight. Her aim is woefully off, however.

"How did you get out, experiment?" Iolastrila asks rhetorically in Azlanti before firing rapidly at the goblin's conveyance. Three laser blasts strike one of Oonopidae's legs while the following three are absorbed by its plating.

Having nowhere else to run to, the frightened Aeon Guard lifts his rifle and fires back at Rril. The slug hits the outlaw in his shoulder and dents his armor painfully.

Steve backs up as the Azlanti woman scratches his drone's surface. He fires his laser at her naughty hands.

The Aeon Guard fails to see the shot coming, but it does not much matter as the slug lodges in a ventilation duct behind him. Protecting his masterpiece, Steve backs away and shoots at the Azlanti woman who had the timidity to scratch Oonopidae. Unfortunately, he must have telegraphed his shot, and the woman sidesteps the laser blast.

Mothkala grits her teeth and grips the pulsecaster with both hands, trying to steady her trembling arms. Her arms shake so much from fatigue that you fear she might hit one of you, but when she pulls the trigger, the tortured vesk lands a shot on the commander's leg.

"Fine," Iolastrila sighs in Azlanti and steps towards Haro. With a snap of her arm, she cuts the dueling blade horizontally in front of the vlogger. At first, it seems like she missed, but then he feels the wetness under his armor and a breeze through a cut just below his neck before his armor's nanites begin restoring the seal.

Lors drives her trident toward the commander. Iolastrila raises her sword to catch the tines of the trident and resist, stopping the force with great effort so that the trident merely nicks the armor (miss, barely). Dancing back, she is ready for Lors' next strike and parries it more deftly.

The frightened Aeon Guard runs to hide from Steve. At least the shobhad can't shoot him there, he thinks to himself.

The Aeon Guard is too frightened to see the shot coming, but he is saved by Rril's aim (Rril might want to check his sights). Haro's pike suffers no such technological problems, and the vidcaster sees and opening and takes it. The Azlanti commander hisses in pain as his blade point digs into her thigh. Then Steve adds insult to injury by shooting her in the back. His drone is either unsteady or regardless of what it sets on fire as the stream of ignited petrol is far off target and puddles at Haro's feet.

Mothkala's luck seems to have been consumed as her next shot hits the ceiling.

Iolastrila brings her dueling blade down toward's Haro's neck with an overhand slash that he side steps. She swiftly brings the blade up toward his groin, but he jumps over it.

Lors redoubles her efforts, trident blurring from form to form as she brings more and more of her strength and speed to bear, but Iolastrila's blade seems to be everywhere!

Bouncing back from the distraction that Haro seemed to be, Iolastrila manages to parry Lors' furry.

The Aeon Guard ducks for cover from Rril, imagining the outlaw to be a much bigger threat than he has demonstrated. He comes back to find Steve and takes a frightened pot shot. The bullet just grazes his cheek, leaving a stinging line that eventually oozes goblin blood.

Steve's gauges on his drone begin to flash red as his reserve Petrol begins to run low. He smashes his fist down on it breaking the glass display. "We need to hurry!"

Steve shoots the commander in the back again, though it has less an impact as his teammates might hope. More disappointing for the goblin is his drone prematurely fires the petrol before the ignition, leaving a wet line on the ground and no fire.

Mothkala's nerves seem to be getting the best of her.

The Azlanti commander parries Haro's pike, steps after Rril and slices for his neck. The outlaw pulls back in time to evade the blow, but she has put him in a risky position.

Lors finally finds an opening in the Azlanti's guard and strikes hard twice in a row, leaving bloody rents on her shoulder and chest. She quickly moves to evade Antenor's harrying fire, which leaves her distracted.

"I need only last until the reinforcements," she quips back in Azlanti.

Pinned between the outlaw and the goblin ship captain, the Aeon Guard fires at the latter, but he is just too intimidated by the whole situation.
