The Free City of Muluk takes it name from the long, unbroken line ofrulers whose history predates the Enlightened Throne in Huzuz It isknown for its exquisite regal purple dyes produced from local indigo plants.Muluk lies along the shore of the Great Sea at the mouth of the River Al-Zalim. Like most of the Free Cities, Muluk is a fiercely independent martialstate, engaged in unrelenting, low-grade conflict with the savage hill tribes ofthe nearby Furrowed Mountains, the ravaging pirates from the Corsair Isles, and the hostile armies of Umara and Qadib, both neighboring Free Cities

"Well," Nabila says picking up the corsair's scimitar and wielding it quite clumsily. "We could always try chopping it down. Though I should probably ask permission before risking damage to her weapon. Still, if there is something back there..." she shurgs.
After 30 feet, the eastern tunnel opens into a shallow bathing pool, lined with glazed green tiles. The heavy iron grating that used to cover the mouth of the tunnel lies on the bottom of the pool, twisted into a pile of scrap. Relieved you get out of the water and you come into the bath of an old bath house.
Now, the room is a shambles. Most of the colored tiles covering the walls have been ripped off and scattered across the floor, along with animal fur, feathers, and bird dung. In the western wall, the former entrance to the room, leading to the rest of the bath-house, has been walled over with bricks.
There is an overturned marble bench along the northern wall.
A narrow window pierces the eastern wall 11 feet above the floor.
On the southern wall you see the wall is blocked by some not yet dried plaster.
Since we have time, he'll try interacting with some of the other stuff.
First Chipluck sets about to retrieve the metallic bars from the bottom of the pool. If successful, he suggests chipping away at the wet plaster with them.
He also suggests carrying even more water to the already wet plaster to further weaken it.
Finally, he tries climbing the wall to see what he can see through the window.

Orven had set down both his satchels while they waited on the paralyzed people to recover. As the discussion comes around to his mission, he opens the satchel and pulls out the ivory vase.
Made of Ivory, it was clearly in the shape of a swan, if a swan also happened to take the same general shape as a drop of water. Runes etched in platinum ran around the base, and the bottom had a map carved into it.
"This item is linked to it's twin in my master's tower. When I fill it with water from the Spring of Purity, whatever that means, and then speak the command words, whereupon the vase will empty and it's twin in my master's tower will fill with the self-same water."
Enchanted ivory and platinum from the Sword Coast...an exotic item to be sure. Does the ajami realize the wealth he carries... thought Chipluck, intrigued. "Sir, have you considered using it as a messaging device? One could color the water with various dyes, each dye representing a letter. Slowly the message could be carried across the Trackless Sea in a strange sort of cipher...yet faster than a ship to be sure."
After the climb he mentions "It would seem we are at the bottom of the hill next to the bazaar. I could secure the rope up here if we wish to escape this chamber. Or perhaps one of us could run for an apothecary to help our poisoned companions. But what of the fish?"

"I am afraid I do not know how to catch a fish. Maybe you could splash around in there and I can attempt to shoot it? Or did they want it still living?"

"Interesting," Nabila tells Orven. "Yes, you should go run for an apothecary." She does not look at Chipluck and says it in an off-hand, somewhat sarcastic manner. "I do not think we should work on that wall with these ladies so vulnerable."
Nabila really wouldn't have much of a chance with the fish. Right now she's ready to just sort of 'camp' until the paralysis wears off.
Chip nodded and scurried up the hole like a lizard on a hot day. Back in his home of 200 years others called the 'street', he slithered through the crowds making it towards the one person he thought might help...
His arse halfway through the window "I believe she was talking to me, sir. My station prevents her from looking me in the eye, you understand." he informs Orven.
Soaked to the bone and with a big bloody bite mark on his calf "S-s-sayyd, forgive my appearance but my friends are deathly ill! It was centipedes sayyd...a fiendish sort...with venomous pincers! We are in desperate need of assistance...they breathe yet their limbs can not move..."
"Ah yes, if you could prepare it at once...they are trapped in a bad spot, you see." As they discuss the pricing, Chipluck tries to make an assessment about whether or not stealing the completed draught would be possible...
What to roll to assess risk? Also feel free to just ignore and advance time to when they are cured if you would rather.
He actually doesn't have any money at all, that's why he was going to steal them. Unless we assume the party gave him some. My starting wealth consisted of 2 daggers only.
I dunno, why would he live on the street as a beggar-thief for 200 years with as much money as a turd on the sidewalk? Seriously though, I was thinking he was going to run for help and the guy would follow back. When the guy just offered to sell stuff, Chips only option would be to steal. Unless of course we assume someone gave him money beforehand. That would be a moral dilemma for Chip, being handed a bunch of coin and released on his own. But anyways, I feel like I'm slowing stuff down so fine with whatever at this point.

I'm broke myself. Kit gets a free weapon and ten bucks. Steal them openly with a snatch and grab and either he keeps up and we mollify him when he gets here and sees you were (mostly) honest or we return later and give him what we owe plus interest. Just don't get caught by guards if that happens, please, lol.

The apothacarist looks under the counter to find a pouch to put the pills into and Chipluck sees his chance and bolts out of the door and back towards the others.

Nura's muscles slowly relax and unlock, her paralysis fading. When she is able to speak, she thanks Chipluck and the others and gets to her feet. She pauses to examine the freshly plastered wall. "If we want to go through there, I think that our resident beggar has the right idea. We should weaken it with water before trying again to break through."

Fadilah takes a deep, sudden intake of breath, heaving upward and into a sitting position after she is cured.
"Ah! I was terrified that I would never move again and would simply fade off into oblivion!" she says. She slowly catches her breath and returns to a more moderated state of breathing. Slowly she climbs to her feet.
"Thank you, blessings upon you, surely you have saved me from a terrible fate."
"It was of course my fault for stirring the creatures from rest..." he humbly admits. "That reminds me...that bench was very heavy solid stone, perhaps if we each took a leg we could swing it into the wet plaster like a battering ram??"
You grab the stone bench and start knocking at the wall until it finally collapses inward leaving stucco and plaster within the pool area that you are located.
This section of the public baths has been converted to a warehouse. Exploring this area discovers little of interest besides 21 canvas-wrapped bundles of white linen being stored here presumably by a cloth merchant. The entrance to this area is the the front door. All windows have beenbricked shut.

"This work appears recent, and we should probably keep moving, since certain false accusers are trying to find us." offers Orven, a bit unsure of the situation.
