After smoting the fartknocker, Xandarian quickly looks at both critical members of the party.
First, the cleric casts stablize on Molitor, then casts his last cure spell on the alchemist.

Sadly, this does not revive the half-orc.
Xandarian instructs the able-bodies to back up about 30 ft away, so Cayden Cailean's healing can be focused on the paladin and alchemist.

After that channel, Xandarianm asks the rest to come back and receive his last healing of the day.

"Like it or not this place is probably quite secure as made so by these demons, we should take advantage of this and rest."

Xandarian pulls his backpack off, rummaging through it to grab a jug of wine, and takes 4 to 5 long gulps. The cleric sighs with thirst quenched and relief experienced.
"You know what fellas. I'm fine just resting here." Too tired to pull his bedroll out, Xandarian uses his backpack as a pillow a quickly finds slumbertown.

Xandarian wakes the next day and prays to Cayden Cailean for new spells. After that, the cleric devours a trail ration with gusto.
"Good news, everyone. Cayden Cailean has seen fit to grant me more powerful blessings and spells! But please try and stay away from pointy things and blunt objects to the noggin."

Kevin awakes in the morning and prays. He then approaches the group, "The nights rest has done me wonders but I am still gravely wounded. Could I get a couple of those healing potions we found and I'll be happy to lead the way out of here. Can any of you use this? It's better against demons." He pulls out his old cold iron scimitar and offers it to anyone who can use it.

"Pass me one if there are any left after Kevin gulps them, I'd need some mojo." says the guardsman before turning to the paladin "I'll take the blade if you don't mind mate, if we are to face unspeakable horrors from the Plane of Gas I'd better be armed for it."
I'm considering respeccing myself into blades, what with demons needing a bigger punch than I pack.

When you are all ready you head on up the tunnel which seems to climb, and you arrive in the light of day. But it is a dark day since you finally see what has become of your home town. It is ravaged. The tremors and demonic attacks have devastated the city, leaving it a smoking, apocalyptic ruin. Deep chasms riddle the city, while the paths of enormous demons have left ruinous trails of rubble extending out from the city’s heart. Above, the once-familiar skyline of Kenabres and forever changed—the tower of the Kite and the Cathedral of St. Clydwell having been completely destroyed, while elsewhere plumes of dark smoke still rise from the smoldering remains of burned-down buildings. Fat buzzards wheel above in skies scarred by red smoke and black clouds. The Worldwound has expanded its borders, and now the city of Kenabres is enveloped in it.
City map link provided, and you emerge at H16.
Your NPCs all ask to go to different places of course being a bunch of whiny little prats.
Anvenn: He wants to visit a house in the eastern part of the city in hopes of finding his wife.
Aravashnial: He wants to check on the library of the Riftwardens to see how his fellows fare.
Horgus: He just wants to go home, though he promises rewards if you can take him there since he's a rich merchant.

Kevin drinks down two of the cure light wounds potions and then says, "We also have a list of the enemies hideouts we should check out. Someone with a better knowledge of the town might be able to point out the most logical way to get to all of these places."

Uelarik looks on with amazement over the destruction of the city. "Let's escort our wards to their destination before we do anything else. Anvenn appears to be in the worst shape of the three with her broken leg. Let's escort her back home first."
Unless anyone disagrees, Uelarik will turn to Anvenn, "Can you guide us to your house?"
