I think people aren't understanding how this spell works. One more time. If you are in the area of affect and fail the save, you are nauseated. You stay nauseated for the duration of you being in the area of effect with no more saves.

Hence these people are presently nauseated and will remain so if they are within the drawn circle:

once they get clear of the area of effect, they will remain nauseated for
1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 rounds.

Those within the cloud who are not already nauseated (Tanrov and Kevin) have to continue making saves each round. It is a poison type effect so any resistance or such will work to your advantage.

Even with the cloud oscuring you, you should be able to advance past Marcus the queasy, and take the spot next to Kevin. It will be a double move.
