Molitor Rask
"How's it goin' in there? Y'all uns need any help?"
Tanrov Shadow-Graxt
"Yes!!" replies Tanrov loudly
Molitor Rask
Molitor will lift up his axe and enter the building.
Xandarian Quartermain
Xandarian runs behind Tanrov and casts cure serious wounds on him.
CSW: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (6, 7) + 3 = 16
Marcus McCain
|
Marcus yells, curses and grabs the scimitar with both hands. He prays to Grub that this works or else he'll probably commit audoku next round.
Power Scimitar: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
That damage, really... I can't even...
Molitor Rask
Molitor moves into position and tries to chop the enemy weezard.
greataxe: 1d20 + 6 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 6 - 1 + 2 = 17 (power attack, flank)
damage: 1d12 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 6 + 3 = 16
Tanrov Shadow-Graxt
You mean Cure Moderate Wounds of course.. the dice were correct anyway or are you that awesome and rolled the wrong amount of dice?
Feeling the healing energy wash over him Tanrov says
"Thanks Xan, great timing."
Tanrov will then attack with renewed energy and attempt to plant the wizard
Earthbreaker+st+power attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Earthbreaker+st+power attack damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (3, 5) + 10 = 18
Xandarian Quartermain
Xandarian step forward and attacks the orc with his rapier.
Rapier: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Being too clustered together, the cleric misses his mark.
Molitor Rask
Molitor moliates
greataxe: 1d20 + 6 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 6 - 1 + 2 = 27 (power attack, flank)
confirm: 1d20 + 6 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 6 - 1 + 2 = 8
damage: 1d12 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 3 = 17
Marcus McCain

Marcus slashes again with the scimitar.
Power Scimitar: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 6 + 2 = 15
Damage: 1d6 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 6 + 3 = 12
Tanrov Shadow-Graxt
"Fall dammit fall..."
Tanrov tries for a more graceful attack this time attempting to catch the wizard after Molitors great hit.
Earthbreaker+st: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Earthbreaker+st damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (1, 2) + 7 = 10
Molitor Rask
Molitor contemplates moliation
greataxe: 1d20 + 6 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 6 - 1 + 2 = 14 (power attack, flank)
but probably shouldn't think so hard about it.
damage: 1d12 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 3 = 13
Tanrov Shadow-Graxt
Obviously flagģing after repeatedly swinging the over sized hammer about Tanrov swings again
Earthbreaker: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
And doesn't even come close
Xandarian Quartermain
Looking around, Xandarian just shakes his head, and leans on the door frame, waiting for the sh!t-show to be over.
Uelarik the Eldritch
Sorry, thought I was still stunned - missed the note about the 4 rounds being up.
Uelarik moves to fire a scorching ray at the half orc without hitting his companions
ranged touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
damage: 4d6 + 1 ⇒ (3, 2, 6, 6) + 1 = 18
Tanrov Shadow-Graxt
Tanrov looks at Uelarik with a serious expression on his face and then breaks into a smile.
"Finally I get to congratulate you on helping me stay a step away from the Gray Ladies demense.. good jon Uelarik."
Molitor Rask
"We did find a half orc in a dress...." Molitor says as he searches the dead weezard.
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Kevin Hurly
"I see no sign of your wife here sir. He didn't even wait to see who was coming into the house he just attacked us. Maybe we can find something from your wife if we search the place."
Perception: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (12) + 0 = 12
drbuzzard
I'll say you take 20 (well not you, but someone who can find their butt with both hands).
Hidden in a secret niche in the bedroom (Perception DC 25) is a brief note from Irabeth, telling Avenn that when he returns, he can find Irabeth at Defender’s Heart. The note says that the password “Silverstrong” identifies them as friends. In addition, Irabeth left two potions of cure moderate wounds and three potions of invisibility in the niche to aid her hubby’s journey to Defender’s Heart.
Tanrov Shadow-Graxt
"Yes lets go." says Tanrov in agreement with Uelarik.
Tanrov Shadow-Graxt
Tanrov approaches Horgus ans tries to calm him
"Mr Horgus, one thing at a time, we have to goto defenders heart and see what the situation is first, this whole area seems to be pretty run down and infested with demons and all sorts of riff raff, what's the point of going back to your house if some demons just come along and burn it down."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Xandarian Quartermain
"Since he's right here, I'll go with Horgus to check the manor", conceeds Xandarian, drawing his rapier.
Tanrov Shadow-Graxt
"Whaddya all say? I'll go with Xan as he's to valuable to let go by himself.. who else.. better if all of us go considering the last encounter."
drbuzzard
You go to his house to find it in a reasonable state of repair. The doors are open and it is empty of occupants.
"Servants all abandoned the place." says Horgus upon seeing the state of his manor. "I suppose I can't expect loyalty to overcome a demonic invasion. "
Horgus activates a hidden latch and a secret panel opens to reveal stairs which go down. This takes you to a vault door which he opens with a key. Inside are copious supplies and lots of sacks of hold. He counts out substantial piles of gold for each of you and hands you each a potion of cure light wounds.
"Here. You've all been a great help to me. I'm staying here. I hope you are able to clear the city. I'm not a fighter so I'm no help anyway, and just someone you'd need to guard. Farewell. " the gold sacks have 250 GP each in them.
Xandarian Quartermain
Taking his potion and bag of gold, Xandarian looks open-mouthed at the wealth around him, and sputters "Y-Y-You're welcome!"
