There was a recent update where only people with Android 5.1 browser or something else apple equivalent can actually post via mobile. It also eats post from Wayfinder. So my mobile capabilities on paizo have been diminished. Kind of sucks tbh.

Curse android's latest inbuilt browser :)
'Cannot establish secure connection'
*Waves fist at android*
Thankfully, the firefox works.
Luciana Moretti |
Still happening for me through Firefox on my desktop (which was where I got the issue first). It's not that it's eating the posts, it's like it's trying to post it in a separate thread with the same name that doesn't exist.
EDIT: I'll look around for a tech support or something after dinner.

If everything goes correctly I might be moving to Michigan in the next couple of months. A couple of positions might be opening up that would let me actually get a job there, and be able to support myself.
On the other hand, just got back from Wisconsin and didn't miss much I can see. Was helping to open up another store so I'm back to my home comp that will let me post.
Mia Rumsfield |
I've browsed through Mug's aliases and posts.
They all show no signs of life after 9th of july, his last posting date here. :/
Mia Rumsfield |
Our merry band's can't end like this?
We've still to see big bro marrying his scaly lover.
Tobongo to grow even larger, Tallina should make some more snake stew :P
I've to escape this frail little body.
Mia Rumsfield |
If we don't hear back from Mug this week, say wednesday perhaps, should we recruit again?
Or does someone know of another who might be interested in our suave group?
Mia Rumsfield |
I'm making a recruitment thread, hopefully we'll get a new one on short term. Hold on, our merry band can't end here :)
Mia Rumsfield |
When i wanted to type...the paizo site goes offline for maintenance :P
Take 2 commencing..
Edit: Thread made.

Vinsomner seems the most enthusiastic of the two, despite not having run it before.
Personally, i'd give him the chance.
Your thoughts?
Verim Pharae |
So far, yes he does seem enthusiastic but we would need to know his posting style, plans and other criteria. Then even after the selection phase every person would need to send him the information like Mug Before. He would need to know all of this and have some Idea o how to handle it. So overall its more that while I'm glad there is interest, we need a bit more info.

Sure.

Hey everyone. I wanted to apologize for the delay, work has been a little crazy the last couple of days!
But I'm excited to get things going, just going through the backlog a little bit to get a better grip on everything so I don't disappoint! Is there anything I should know or you would like me to know feel free to PM me or post it here.
I was curious what time-frames (states and what not) everyone is most active in?
I can get posts in almost everyday without any issues myself. Evenings on the Pacific Standard (GMT-8) is when I will be most active.
Verim Pharae |
I return and apologize I received an eye injury and recently recovered from it. This cause my comp to be damage by me.. stepping on it. Catching up to all my games. I got a new comp.
Im eastern Standard time, I tend to be active anywhere from 6Am to 9 pm depending on work and whatnot.
Sending PM soon,
Mia Rumsfield |
I usually check between 7 and 8 AM and in the evenings after 18:00, depending on if i've got work to do, otherwise i'm able to post more frequently.
Tallina Kapok |
Wait so Verim and his player both have eye injuries? Whoa, that's character dedication (jk, glad you are feeling better).
Let's see, I'm in the central timezone (Chicago, let's go Blackhawks!), I check in the morning or during work on my phone, but unfortunately I don't have a current enough web browser for me to post from said phone. So I usually post at night around 7-9pm.
Also sometime within the next couple of months I'm moving to Michigan, around the Grand Rapids area, hopefully having the same time restraints.
Luciana Moretti |
I'm down in Australia. Queensland, to be specific, so that puts me at GMT +10 (so at the time of typing this post, it's a quarter to 7 on Wednesday night).
I can post more-or-less anytime after about 2pm most days (I knock off work at 1 and it takes me about 15-30 minutes to drive home, factor in another half-hour if I decide to grab something for lunch on the way home - that's including the time to eat it, BTW :P ) but don't expect much out of me on Thursday nights - wargaming night then.
Speaking of which, I should really get around to finishing those Kriel Warriors; got them not long after coming back from that holiday to England and still haven't finished them.
EDIT: Hang on; Verim, are you playing a half-orc slayer in a Kingmaker game at the moment? If not, that's an insane coincidence of both you and that player getting an eye injury. :P
Verim Pharae |
Yes I am the same person, as an update I have about 70% in the injured eye and 90% in the uninjured from pain. Still serviceable but notably difficult for some things. Yes I have noticed the similarity to Verim.
Vinsomner |
Alrighty, Wednesday's will be bad for me period due to my work in the mornings then having classes for the rest of the day. But besides that I'm going to be pretty active. I think I know what needs to happen now.
I will get up a new current battle map of the current situation soon, most likely tomorrow.
Shall we wait to get the campaign to be transferred to me so the group can get a trial run of me before coming to the final decision? (want to make sure the group is going to have fun. Don't want to be a drag for you!)
Also, a post awaits you in the Gameplay!
Vinsomner |
Just to make sure, Bianca is still in rotation correct? Also how do you want to handle combat posts? In my other campaign I post twice a day no matter who takes their turn yet (mid-day and end of day). This acts as a delay on all those who have not posted yet. Looking at the campaign info it seems there is a similar set up.
So my question is, do you want twice a day post for combat sequences or once a day?
Verim Pharae |
Phew this random schedules are getting me, being injured doesnt make it better. Anyway I'd say twice, if someone cannot get something in that time but the majority have it customary to have the GM act on part of them. Just like Mia did here in another game when I was disposed.
Time to get a post up.
Mia Rumsfield |
That happens alot actually, the GM filling in.
I generally hold a ratio of 1 required post per 24 hours, weekends excluded. If there's no post, i bot.
Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse ^^.
Vinsomner |
Haha, alright. I will bot those who don't get their posts in. Though hopefully it doesn't have to come to that! So generally I will make a post around Noon GMT-8 and then around 8 or 9 pm GMT-8 for combat situations then.
This fight should be pretty quick with that structure.
Oh, did the last GM give you the necessary XP rewards from your last situation before I came in?
Verim Pharae |
You actually need to make two successive saves, so on your next turn you need to save again in order to get rid of the affects.
Do you mean I'm affected by the poison regardless of the save? Or do you mean I need to make a save even though I made the first save? Is this another house rule?
As for the the XP rewards I am unsure.
Verim Pharae |
Are you sure? I know the GM before Mug kept some sort of XP track because after certain fights or happenings or whatever.. we leveled. I think he would shape encounters depending on how close/far we were.

I just checked, and I'm wrong. You make two successive saves on your current turn to end the poison from the Quasit. It's in its monster table so not a house rule. So two successful saves will clear the poison.
Verim Pharae |
Ahh I see there is some slight confusion. Poison has a DC in which you must meet for every application to first see if it affects you. So in this instance if the DC is 13 you must first fail that DC to gain the effects of the poison. If you are then hit multiple times with the poison and fail the saves the doses make the initial poison harder. So the part that says 'two consecutive saves' is AFTER you failed the initial save and what you must now do to get rid of it. Regardless you were correct that I needed to save twice, because I was hit twice.
