"I see you again, I kill you slowly," Grokar calls as he takes a step up, drawing a javelin and hurling it at the fleeing hobgoblin.

"Aye, now we press on ta the fort. Take em down while we still have the element o' surprise." Rhen says trudging forwards into the muck.
There was nothing that he would have wanted to use
Igar The Terrible
Once again you enter the muck and push your way slowly to your destination. You see the entrance to a large keep. The west side has begun to sink into the muck. The south face of the keep is surrounded by two feet of water on all sides, where moss and debris float in the fetid muck. The top floors of the ruin fell into the swamp long ago, and a series of rocky surfaces juts out at intervals from the water’s surface. A rider on a toad has stationed himself here. He defends the entrance, keeping two guards with him. He is proud and confident, mounted on his toad. He seems more fit than the riders you encountered earlier. He greets you with "Intruders! Exactly why I am here. How did you sneak past the militia? You look like the type that would prefer to talk their way in. Not today, trespassers." If you have knowledge-history please roll that now.
An ancient lord named Vertri Nightshade built this keep. He wished to control the river trade through the lowlands. The capricious fey allowed him to build the keep, then drove everyone away as soon as it was finished. Furious, Vertri sent in an army to control the area, but they were driven mad with illusions and slew each other in a horrible bloodbath. Their bodies have decayed, but dredging up the swamps would reveal hundreds of bone fragments, picked clean by swamp creatures.
The stones are a few feet above water level. They are high ground and take extra 5 ft move to enter or exit. Off of stones is difficult terrain. If the majority of a square is stone on the map, consider it stone. The toad can move freely in this difficult terrain.

Bulgard looks to Zevon, trying to draw courage from his ally. He fires two shots at the nearest guard.

He chuckles as he commands the toad with his knees while holding the bow and nocking another arrow. The toad moves 25 ft west.
His ranks in riding are higher than the guide with with knees check, so no roll.
"Feels good, don't it. Hahahahaha"

Bulgard throws his head back and roars with snorting laughter.
"This battlefield is my d-dream come true! Can we always fight like this? Right then, rider, let's have at it!"
He whispers to Zevon,
"Tell the crew I can take the rider from a distance if I can stay healthy. nnnnn-No need to waste our health fighting him toe-to-toe. If you'll just hit me with that wand you have, I can mow them all down from here"
Grokar
So I went back and reread the bloodrager's fast movement. It says when wearing medium or light armor he gets +10. I then checked the FAQ section of D20PSRD and it said that even though I needed the feat to wear it without penality it would still be considered medium for movement purposes what do you think. Either way Grokar will likely double move and draw Becky

Grokar howls and surges forward trying to get close enough to help Rhen. He draws the massive hammer and calls to the goblin. "You sad little creature. My mother could squash you like a flea."
"Actually mother could squash me like a flea," He chuckles to himself. Battle really does bring out the best in Grokar. So many fond memories of the spilling blood of his friends and enemies.

Zevon whispers to the other companions, Bulgard can take the rider at range. Clear the foreground.

It seems that this is the only egress. Zevon gestures at the opening ahead.
Rhen, can you give us an idea of what lies ahead? Undetected.
Zevon refreshes message on the party.

This entrance is partially flooded with water. A short wall of stacked sandbags keeps the fetid tide at bay. Unused torch sconces line the crumbling walls, and the once-painted cracked dome has faded to a dull pinkish color. The water is three feet deep where you are and about appears to be about 6 inches at the sandbags.

Croc
Three feet of water is difficult terrain. The toad is at home in this environment if you plan to stay on him. His stats will be in discussion. This is a D&D 3.5 croc. He has no death role like a pathfinder croc, but he intends to drown his victims.
Igar The Terrible
You can shoot, but he has cover being in the water. You drew an attack of opportunity in your panic.

The croc takes Bulgard to the bottom.
With water this shallow, you will be able to make melee attacks as normal when you get to the commotion.
Igar The Terrible
With the appearance of an attacking croc, the toad gets a little uneasy under Grokar, but it is battle trained and retains its demeanor.
The 19 on ride was not necessary to mount, so we will save that roll if a check is needed.

Well that's good because Grokar's ride is garbage and he has no buisness riding this toad"
"Attack" Grokar calls spurring the toad to battle. He's never felt so galant in his life, if only the orcish girls could see him now, with he long hair flowing behind him and the caked blood tarnishing his armor. What a sight he must be. It is this solitary thought rattling through his skull that brings him to the aid, or rather attempted aid, of his fellow adventurer.
I don't know where he is. But Grokar wants to ride over and hack at the croc.
