He looks on to his team and gives a look of remorse, "Muir watch over our lost soldier, Tarvellin I hope your death was honorable." Ares follows the it with a short warriors prayer. Then looks on to the Halfling, "Alright, Ms. Springheel please sweep for traps so we can find the vault to collect the relics."

Priscilla nodded and headed into the area near the glyph.
"Okay guys you can come in but do not go past the pillar in the center or near me okay, unless I call for you" She says outloud as she than examines the glyph trap.
"Okay what the hell are you? and how do I defuse you?" She says crouched down staring at it.

Priscilla thinks she can defuse the glyphs with a little luck but there's a high risk of triggering them in the process. They are just slightly above her usual pay-grade.

Priscilla alters the magical glyph with her tools, rendering it inert, with Lucia looking over her shoulder giving her advice on which parts of the symbols to scratch away.
Anyone can also make a DC 15 Wisdom check to recall the high priest of Muir saying this ^^

"Whew"she says as she breathed out and than wiped her brow. She than gets up and points at the other one.
"We got another one to do" She says as she heads towards it.
The shrine looks as terrible and defiled as ever but the removal of an exploding glyph is a good start. The ruined statue in the center has one more glyph scrawled on it's base on the podium.

As everyone got inside of the shrine, Jeb pulled the doors to a close.
Keeping his focus on the door in case some more friends decided to stop in, Jeb says over his shoulder, "You can do it, cherub. Just take your time."
Jeb's just trying out a new name for Miss Springhill. I wonder if it will stick. Hmmm...
Dam you I wanted those doors left open.

"Wait aren't cherub those fat babies with wings? Cause I am neither fat nor winged?" She says in a joking tone as she giggled and headed cautiously over to the other glyph.
"So everyone, its now for your lovely Miss Priss to deactivate another glyph hopefully it does not go boom, If any wish to give me any prayers or advice now is the time, otherwise the monsters will have roasted halfling on the menu" she says nervously.

Not wanting to set off another glyph Ares stands still, kneeling towards the statue he begins pray, "Guide our blades, strengthen our shields, and lend us your bravery. So we may restore your great shrine and punish those who dared to defile it. Oh great Muir, I can only offer you this oath to bring all our enemies to justice and bring our ancient order back to this realm!" As he finishes his prayer the Aasimar blesses the room and the statue with the power of Muir!
I cast Bless, just feels right.
The light in the shrine changes, and a passage in glowing script appears at Muir's feet on the podium.

Reading the glowing passage the Aasimar raises and holds his sword up in a salute. He roars out virtues that have been hammered into his mind since he was a child, "TRUTH, HONOR, AND COURAGE!!" Then sheathes his sword and quickly bows his head to hide the tears welling up in his eyes.
With a grinding sound the podium slides back revealing stairs descending into the vault, but the evil glyph still stands above the stairwell menacingly. What's worse, with the podium shifted, the glyph is now too high for Priscilla to reach from the stairs!

Priscilla notices a sound outside. It's hard to hear through the heavy stone doors, but it sounds like a giant sink draining... like someone pulled a plug on the crystal lake and it is sucking down.

Suddenly both of the brothers hear a voice in their heads. It is spoken in a foul ancient tongue, but somehow the meaning of the filthy words is magically or psychically conveyed.
LEAVE NOW AND YOU SHALL NOT PERISH. STAY AND YOUR CARCASSES SHALL BE IMPLANTED WITH OUR EGGS.

As the voice rings through his head, Andrek calls out, "We are not going anywhere. Try and stop us if you must, but the power of Muir will overcome filth like you!"
As the last glyph comes down he says,"let's go. I'm ready to start singing my sword again and getting those relics."
Perched on Ares' shoulders midway down the stairs, Priscilla Springheel chips away at the dangerous glyph even as she feels the warrior-priest beneath her tense, receiving a communication in his mind from an ancient evil. Undeterred the spry halfling completes her task, her hand steadied by a holy prayer from Andrek and her methods informed by Lucia's discerning expertise.
With the glyph disabled, priscilla feels confident that the way forward into the vault is hazard free. Behind her at the top of the stair, Andrek shout his challenge into the emptiness of the shrine, and feels in his heart that it has been received, psychically, by the entity whose voice he heard reverberating in his mind.
Outside, a great sucking noise is heard from the crystal lake.

Jeb looks to the priest, confused by his friend's outburst. "What are you raving about, Andy? There's no one here."
But before the impetuous one can respond, he pushes the door open a mere sliver and takes a look outside in response to the sound from the lake.

Ares tenses as he holds up the Halfling as he hears the vile voice,
"Foul creature, beware of your idle threats and if you dare try to hurt my comrades not even Muir herself could save you." His eyes dart back and forth looking for the owner of the voice.
"Jeb you didn't hear that? Let us gather these items and be ready for this evil."

"I'm sure these glyphs aren't the only dark magic lurking in these shrines. Lucia says in a worried tone, looking at the brothers as they scan the room.
Peering out through the door Jeb see's two strange frog men in purple robes standing on the bank of the Crystal Lake. They are wincing and squinting as they rub mud and slime on a spiky boulder that has risen from the lake. Suddenly the boulder blinks and the realization sets in...
The boulder has eyes...

"Can we close the way back down? I think we just take care of what is outside before moving along or else we may have a fight on two fronts. I'd also like to close the way down in case they don't know it is here. Otherwise we go down and maybe get caught down there. If we can get down there and close it they may also not know where we went."

"Uh...I like taking our chances in the hole, I mean down their could be magic stuffs to help slay what ever unholy thing is out there. I mean what angelic creature slurps like that?I doubt any do" She says leaning forward to rest her upper arms on Ares head and stare down at Andrek.
"Also this seat is great I can see why you guys never like to look down, also I am not butt level here so that is always a plus" she says smiling as she than stretches.
The statue can be slid back in place to close the stairs down.

Jeb slowly closes the door again. Turning to the others, he softly says, "We are not going out there for a fight. There are two frog-men in robes and a humongous hell-frog that looks as if he's made out of stone. We should head down into the shrine's inner chamber for safety."
He moves closer to the stairs and aims his bow at the door, ready to fire at anything entering the shrine.
