Great. Thank you, DM. I suggest that we now move on unless someone else wants to do something here first.
This is the first time I've leveled up in a Pathfinder game, ever. So how do you want hit points dealt with? Do I roll D6 or do I just give Hailey 3?
And since she'll be taking a new rank of spellcraft, what's in that spell book?

Since armor and arcane magic do not make good friends, Hailey will abandoned her chain shirt as soon as it is safe to do so.
So, DM, I beseech you to give her a scroll of, or let her find Shield in the spellbook. She's going to need it.
Her will has gone up by 2, and she now has Ray of Enfeeblement. Either she's learned it from the spellbook, or she's used up the scroll to learn it, but she finally has at least one wizard spell. Naturally she's happy. A whole new way to hex somebody . . .
She has another chance to learn what's in the spellbook because she used a skill rank to increase her spellcraft score.
She also reveals 'hidden talent' for alchemy by putting one rank into Craft: Alchemy. As a gnome she can choose any one craft or profession to be obsessed with, so it's logical that alchemy, her first craft, should be her obsession of choice.
And I'm putting two ranks into linguistics, giving her access to infernal and draconic. In game, I suggest that we have it that she twisted Comprehend languages when she cast it so that she remembered infernal permanently, then found she liked doing this and did it for draconic. That way, she'll have no need to find a teacher.
And, of course, she gains the beloved Command Undead and Scribe Scroll feats.
I don't mean to be a pest, but, as I said, I've never leveled up in Pathfinder before. I want to how the DM handles it. All DM's seem to have their preferences.

One last thing. Hailey's going to want a familiar to bond with. I think it should be a cat. Since I made the mistake of watching Tim Burton's ruination of Alice in Wonderland today, I'll name her Alice.
It fits Hailey, since cats are said to guard the underworld (in Egyptian lore.) That means +3 to stealth checks. Now, how is she going to pay for it? Perhaps she'll pay for it, partially, by selling the chain shirt she no longer wears?)

It's been a really rough weekend at work. I will not be able to level up Garekk until Monday afternoon (My last final for the quarter is in the morning). But after reading Hailey's updates and the recruitment tab, how much money have we earned so far? :-) Garekk would like to go shopping! And I am sure that the Baron's hold on those items we captured from the bandits should have expired by now.. what do we get out of that?
..last thing.. Anything special on the stats for the greatsword? Garekk is thinking that he likes.. maybe he will actually be able to hit something once in a while!

The book contains all 1 and 2 level necromancy spells that a wizard can learn.
For HP lets do average rounding up.

Read the rules for spell books, you automatically have 3 free spells when you take your first level of wizard.

I don't actually have a running total of how much money you have made.
The greatsword is masterworked.
I have to look back through the gameplay thread to figure out what you get from the bandits.

Well, if it will be easier, we can just go with dividing the loot from the necromancer and the bandits.. I dont think that there was any gold found doing anything else. Just let me know the end result. Btw, are we going to rp the shopping trip, or just a blurb in the gameplay, or what would you prefer?

Yes, for her cat and for the making of four Cure Lt. Scrolls, Hailey's going to need 150 gold, but she's already got 30 and she can sell her chain shirt for something.
100 for the cat, (unless the DM waves that by allowing her to find a stray no one else wants in the village) and 12.5 gold per scroll, for a total of 50 for four.

a familiar is a class ability, you don't have to pay for it.

Flandrion seems like he'd fit in well. He's got connections to Ustalav.
And I'm loving the gnome druid idea. Not only a healer, but also a second gnome.
And personally, I love the paladin. But Hailey won't. Kitty, meet bulldog . . . What tension. What great fun!
On the other hand, Hailey would love to teach Bendis about necromancy. She can't understand why anyone would give it up. It's not about taking over the world.

flandrion, calinthas, and the paladin all seem to be pretty with it. I am interested is seeing what the player that said that they are new to pbp puts together.. I think that could be interesting. Will the gnomes get along? or will it be a constant push and shove? Could be fun. I should have updated done soon. Ive done the paper and pencil part.. just need to get it all typed in. Also, I found an error from my original build.. you let me have Kikko Armor, which is not in the core rule book. I have switched this down to hide. I lose a point of AC, but I dont want to be greedy with the money. I have, however, bought a composite longbow, and if no one objects, I would like to keep the greatsword that I pulled out of the necrolair.

wow.. we are getting a lot of response over in recruitment. I did not expect it to get that busy over there, but I don't really remember our recruitment page either. Anyways, a lot of really good submissions, but it seems to me that *Everyone* is leaning more to spells than martial. Granted, there are a few martials in there, but overall its all spell casters.

Welcome to all the new players. Feels odd, replacing our old friends, but we must move on if we hope to keep this alive.
Cheers and here's to some fun adventures.

lol nope.. only new swords lately was a great sword, but I will keep my eyes open! As Swift said, the old players will be missed, but we must carry on.
Btw, swift.. have you gone shopping? I think there is still several hundred left over from that chest we found. I will be tallying everything up and putting up an updated list of company supplies. Hailey: What was the total cost of what you bought?

Just a heads up..My wife's grandmother is being placed on hospice this coming week and is not expected to last for very long. There will probably be some very severe lapses on my part as we travel and take care of things, but I will at least try to post once a day.

That sucks. Real life should always take priority. Hopefully things go as well as they can for you given the circumstances.

Just to clear up any confusion among the new players, since they're not a core class, Hailey's not a witch. At least, that's not her class, though there may be people who would say differently, using witch in a rather different context . . .
She is a cleric who channels negative energy instead of positive, and is now also a wizard who, befitting her status as a negative channeller, is a necromancer.
Hailey is true neutral, as Nethys is true neutral (hence why he cannot have paladins and why she would be afraid of one.)
She's not evil, she just happens to be dark.

I can read your profile =p I'm not confused just posting from Bendalis' point of view, and being oblique about it because as far as Bendalis is concerned ustalav natives are, well, paranoid and bugnuts enough about magic that the thought of an actual witch probably sets their hands itching for torches. Nervous thought to an elf wizard.

Gonna wait for the GM, but I'm under the impression that you'd have a faint aura of evil if you're able to channel negative (even if you're neutral).
