• MAK sighs to himself as JARED makes a hasty exit,
"I worry for that boy, he's going to get himself killed if he thinks he can take on all of them at once..."

He turns towards the armoured Golian and nods to him,
"It's good to see you again Odak, I was worried I wouldn't see you again after the incident at the keep."

• MAK shifts himself out of the seat with a thud and turns to the group, "I will stay with your group until it's time to meet with Jared...perhaps I can still talk some sense into him"

Aside from taking advantage of the drinks and food, it is assumed that once the majority of the players here are in agreement, there will be a time-skip to reflect the group's next destination. In other words, there'll be a map to experience.

I'm not fond of the idea of attacking someone on first arriving in a town. Especially on a diplomatic mission. Remember we carry the honor of the Wolftooth tribe. But Odak vouches for you...and that means a lot. I trust his honor. So I'm for the task at hand.
Karol gives a toothy grin. And it has been too long since a good fight.

> TIME SKIP: STOREHOUSE #5 <
• The group at the tavern have a chance to rest and eat before heading out into the night. The lights from the street lanterns illuminated the streets but as the heavy-weighted Arcanist led the others towards the allyways leading to the storehouse district it suddenly became much much darker. The moon in the sky obscured by just how tall and massive the buildings were.

[ Arriving at Storehouse #5 ]

In front of the group is a set of (?) Huge Doors, in particular, doors that needed to be slid to the side for the purposes of moving cargo in and out of them, the door handles are so high that only someone of giant stature could reach them without aid.

Around the corner, light coming from a (?) High Window, although this one was even higher than the door handles or the other giants, suggesting that it's not your simple 'look as you walk past' kind of window.

• MAK crouches down low as he tries to be stealthy, however with the amount of commotion he made with his armour and weight this wouldn't help him if he moves within earshot, he motions to the group,
"We are here, this is Storehouse #5. I can't see Jared anywhere...he's probably inside already. Don't worry, I know where we can get inside without being noticed, however for those who are too afraid to relinquish their physical superiority for a short while can stay out here to break in through the front door if the infiltration team gets into trouble."

"Who will join me in the infiltration team?"
Warning: You may be stuck waiting around if you choose to be the gate-crashing team, since the infiltration team will have their scene first.

Head shook in a 'no' fashion when heard about the letting go of his strength. "Go through door. No mind waiting. Good guarder!" Didn't speak all to loud so not to give them away. Though did look up towards the roof as well to see if was a spot above the door frame or even if a higher up window might be there.

GM

• GREEZ looks up and around the door, there is nothing to stand on or hang onto. The window around the corner certainly is high but far too small for him to fit through, it's no bigger than his head.

GM

With everybody's input, the teams are decided.

When everybody is ready to leave, Mak and the infiltration team sneak over towards the back of the storehouse.

> MAK's SPELL <
• MAK kneels beside the (?) [Small Hole] and points to it,
"This is the weakpoint of the structure, as you can see, many of us are too large to fit through, even you; shirtless grey one.",
as he refers to the plus-sized Hobgoblin.

"If everyone is ready, I will cast the spell, come closer",

Before entering The Doctor will cast Extended spectral hand

Male Broadback Golian Arcanist, dressed in reddish robes and medium-plate armour || 59/59 HP, 57/67 SP, 6 AC (10 ADR), +4 ATK 2d6+2 DMG)

Casting Extended Spectral Hand consumes 5 Spell points to cast, Majuba loses 1 HP to create the hand. Health is returned if the spell ends without the hand being destroyed.
MAJUBA: Spectral Hand HP loss: 1d4 ⇒ 1

----

• MAK stands firm and begins to cast the spell, gesturing with his hand and touches TURGRIM and ODAK on the head with his index finger. With each cast, the effects were pronounced as each member quickly compressed down into diminutive forms of themselves, with the same physical features and clothing, only now Turgrim appeared to be a big-eared Halfling Hobgoblin only 2.5ft tall, Odak down into a stout, compact Dwarf less than three feet tall. MAK casts the final spell upon himself, it is successful and he too shrinks down into a Dwarf-like being similar to ODAK.

Spell-Failure: 1: 1d20 + 1d20 ⇒ (18) + (10) = 28
Spell-Fail: 1: 1d20 ⇒ 5

MAK casts 'Smallfolk Transformation (2nd)' on TURGRIM, ODAK and himself, costing a total of 9 Spell points. Each target is considered Small-sized for the purposes of this spell. For each size category, your STR is reduced by 2, DEX increased by 2, damage dice reduced by one step (d4, d6, d8, 2d6...etc). Reach is reduced to 5ft, Speed is reduced to 20ft, spell/ability DC is reduced to 10.

• MAK, now less than half of TIGERWOLF's size, waddles up to the others with a squeakier though still masculine voice,
"Good, everyone can now proceed. I must warn you that this spell is tenacious and fragile. If either of us attempt to use our special abilities or become involved in combat, the spell will break down whether there is room for us or not. Fortunately the spell breaks down slowly, just make sure you don't get caught before it happens!"

Basically, if you get hit, hit someone, or use your special abilities (magic, Ki...etc), the spell will be dismissed automatically. But the spell takes 1d4+1 rounds to disappear regardless. Duration is 1min/lv (8 mins)

Turgrim will lead the way, putting his face to the small hole and peeking inside. Seeing nothing, he squirms his body in there.

GM

• TURGRIM finds that the small hole is pretty much as large as a regular doorway to him now, nothing except his long ears touch the sides as he slips on through. He finds himself in a dark passage that has been created by some enormous wooden row of crates that were several times his height.

Tigerwolf would follow Turgrim moving stealthily as she would move in looking around and moving to the side.

Hobgoblin HP: 68| Initiative +5 | Perception +7 | Ref: 6 Fort: 6 Will: 5 (7) | AC: 13 | CMD: 22 | Ki: 2 points

First, Turgrim looks to his left as he enters, noting that long, deep crack. Is it possible to see down that direction? Turgrim presses his beady eye to the crack, peering down it for a moment before he moves on.

When he reaches the end of the row of crates, he turns to Tigerwolf and puts a finger to his lips. Shhhhh.

Moving quietly, he peers around the corner. Are rolls needed here?

GM

• TURGRIM can see fine in the darkness thanks to his Darkvision. The crack between the crates and the wall appears to be too narrow to see anything down it, even with the Hobgoblin's tiny head. TURGRIM should have +4 to stealth, you will not need to roll any so long as any movement you take is half or less (for you, 10ft). Moving sneakily is like take-10.

• TIGERWOLF follows on behind, squeezing without too much effort into the hole. MAK and ODAK also follow along behind, thunderous clanging reduced to barely audible tinkling.

> AROUND THE CORNER <
• TURGRIM peers around the corner, light emenates from over there, as well as movement and voices of giants. He can see one of them with their back facing him, their mumbling is spoken in Giant and a little far away from this point. The Hobgoblin's peeking does not seem to stir suspicion.

Im special in I can do a full move stealthed.

Tigerwolf would listen to the giant's talking seeing if she could pick up what they were saying.

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25

GM

• TIGERWOLF attempts to listen in on the conversation, however the distance between her and the giants is pretty far away, her effective Perception is reduced by 7, but the acoustics of the warehouse make it a lot easier to hear things by +2, to a total of 20.

TIGERWOLF can discern two voices from deep sounding men, they appeared to be discussing something about cards, possibly playing a game to pass the time. The two look rather large, something on the lines of GREEZ and MAK in stature. None of them appear to be looking in the group's general direction, if they're quiet there's virtually no risk.

Tigerwolf looks at the others and would mouth the word "Cards"

Motioning to Turgrim she would motion she was going ahead and going to press to the area opposite them to the other shelves.

Her footfalls were soft as she made her way across her slight form making barely a whisper. They were reminded of a cat stalking through the grass.

Hobgoblin HP: 68| Initiative +5 | Perception +7 | Ref: 6 Fort: 6 Will: 5 (7) | AC: 13 | CMD: 22 | Ki: 2 points

Moving more slowly, Turgrim follows after her, keeping the card players in his sights at all times.

GM

• TIGERWOLF quickly sneaks across to the other side without so much as a mishap. TURGRIM following on behind takes more than twice as long to follow the taller Half-Orc, fortunately he makes even less sound and hard to spot regardless.

There appears to be a (?) Crate Crawlspace nearby, a similarly sized gap like the hole that everybody fit through before. It appears to be the only other route beside sneaking around the card playing giants themselves.

Karol moves in carefully, keeping clear of his compatriots so as not to impede them, his axe in his hand.

perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31

GM

• KAROL takes a similar route along TIGERWOLF and TURGRIM's path, however he needed to get past ODAK and MAK who had been waiting to move; they were not any more graceful as dwarves with dwarfism than they did as giants. Yet they did move into position after the first two in line did.

The Half-Orc Skald notices the card playing giant(s) had no weapons or armour nearby, in fact one of them didn't even have a shirt on!

• Everybody in the group makes it to the other side without mishap. MAK grabs ODAK on the arm to lead him away from the corner.

Karol quietly draws his axe and waits.

GM

• Looking up, there's no catwalks or other distinguishing features around the ceiling or high walls; assuming the whole storehouse was like this, it seemed to be all on one level.

TIGERWOLF crawls through an opening in the crates, the path is a tad windy but eventually it leads out into open space once more, with a crate to hide behind for cover, good thing too because there were a few giants talking with each other up ahead! From a tiny crack she could see there was somewhere else to the left of her, but she'd need to sneak around her cover first. Take note of the yellow arrows on the tokens, this shows you their Facing.

As for MAK, all they he had to do was walk through the crawlspace, a lot less effort on his part. MAK tells ODAK and TURGRIM how to dismiss the spell effect upon him before leaving.

Male Broadback Golian Arcanist, dressed in reddish robes and medium-plate armour || 59/59 HP, 57/67 SP, 6 AC (10 ADR), +4 ATK 2d6+2 DMG)

• Behind TURGRIM, MAK gently flicks one of the Hobgoblin's ears to get his attention, whispering to the diminutive Monk,
"Sorry, I do not know your name but...should we come to battle, I should explain how to dismiss this spell of ours. The spell is broken when you perform aggressive actions or activities. I believe a simple knocking of the fists or beating of the chest will suffice for one who lacks weaponry. I warn you though, this spell is tenacious, it may take some time before you return to your former stature."

Tigerwolf would listen.

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26

GM

• TIGERWOLF peeks around the corner, she discovers one of the burlier Golians has their back facing them while a skinnier one with a scarf-wrap around his face talking to someone else who cannot be seen due to the foreground' giant blocking the view. They appear to be talking about their recent thefts and laughing about their recent one regarding a rival's coin stash.

She would peer to the left of her to explore.

GM

• TIGERWOLF would need to sneak out of cover but, peering around the box appears to reveal a lower level down some two foot tall steps. Still no suspicion raised by the bandits, she's safe for now.

MAK stops behind cover and whispers,
"I will wait here, my armour is too noisy and I do not wish to foil your efforts."

Turgrim's ear burns with pain from the "gentle" flick of Mak, but he doesn't show his discomfort, only nods in acknowledgment.

His bruised ears remain perked as they listen for Tigerwolf's distraction, getting himself into position and tensing for movement.

GM

• As TIGERWOLF sneaks along the path and drops down the steps, she finds herself in a storage room with two particular features. Something that appears to be a Loot chest of some sort and the sneaky missing Golian himself, Jared holed up in the corner.

MAK returns back to cover, he'll wait until there's enough of a commotion to break cover.
