Alright, I think I've got him altogether now. He's the one below the broken lines. Morthos
There still might be some mechanics issues here and there but that's pretty much the gist of him.
Decided on Warpriest, thunderbeard, mainly due to the extra bells and whistles. I mean, who doesn't like bells and whistles? :)

Tragershen |

Dotting for interest. I am going to work on an elven bard (archaeologist)/wizard (evoker).
Here is the bard/wizard I promised. His crunch is all in his profile. When working with the group, he will first and foremost be a wizard that provides some buffing/debuffing as well as direct attacks. He will be a good sage for the group (he has all of the knowledge skills at +12 or better to start with) and he can serve as the rogue for purposes of dealing with traps.
One fine evening, Tragershen was hosting a party at his townhome. The first floor, the sage office that served as his front, was dark. The three levels above that beamed with light and music. Tragershen effectively held court with the young and rich of the city, until a little after midnight. When the party was coming into full swing, there was a crashing noise from below. Tragershen excused himself and went down to investigate. When he reached the ground floor, he found it was swarming with guardsmen, ransacking the office. He started to protest, but then he realized the front door was still closed, and a cleverly concealed trap door in the floor was shattered open. The guardsmen had come from below, from the hidden room that held the articles he’d stolen, the slaves awaiting delivery and, most damning, his ledgers. They must have found a way to follow his slaving operation through the sewers to his sub-basement! He tried to flee back upstairs, but one of the guards must have been a priest because with a word he froze Tragershen in place.
The guards broke up the party sending everyone else home after taking their names. The guards made sure that, as they left, they saw Tragershen in manacles just outside. Once the townhome was empty, the captain sneered in Tragershen’s face when he said ”Now, no matter what, this life is gone for you! In Mitra’s name, I swear it!” Then the captain snatched a torch from one of the guards and pitched it through one of the townhome windows. With all of the books and scrolls in his office, it was mere moments before the whole building was engulfed in flames. Everything Tragershen had built up for almost a century, gone. Wine, books, spellbooks, scrolls, finery and jewelry, all gone.
As the guards hauled him away by the glow of his burning fortune, Tragershen silently vowed to himself. Not only would he rebuild all he had just lost, but he would get revenge on everyone involved in his fall from grace, all the way up to the throne!

I just realized I never replied to you. I meant to a while ago.
I understand the flavor of Groetus. What I meant is that that's how my character views his faith, and his general outlook on life. I realize that Groetus is pretty much just death and inevitable destruction but I've seen plenty of different interpretations of many faiths in Pathfinder. I mean who wants to be just another raving doomsayer?

Cassus Davinor |

If it's not too late to throw in a new hat, I'd like to offer up an Antipaladin/Black-Blooded Oracle (mostly done) submission for your game based off an Antipaladin that I had put together for a game awhile ago.
Backstory is in the profile already, will put together a description/motivation together to go with it soon. The crunch is currently being reworked in line with gestalt and your houserule additions and will also be up soon.

Cassus Davinor |

Well alrighty, thanks for your consideration. Crunch has been put together and updated into the alias details (minus gear outside of basic weapon/armour for the moment).
Also I've been having a look through the templates in the list on the SRD to consider something in that direction, however haven't done so before and not too sure on what might be an interesting option for the character I'm going for. So far just know that I'm not looking at undead options since it doesn't feel right thematically for him.

Cassus Davinor |

Made a reasonably hefty change to the character build; have decided to apply the Advanced (CR +1) template in place of one of his Oracle levels. Pretty darn simple and it fits in well of how I think of him as a character.
While the first gift that Asmodeus granted to Cassus, that of the blessings granted to an Oracle and their ability to draw forth divine power from their patron has come with a significant drawback in the form of the Black-Blooded Curse, the second gift he has been granted has no secretly hidden thorns, Asmodeus has seen him down to his very soul and shaped him in mind and body to reach up to the pinnacle of human possibility. After all, the Prince of Hell expects the very best from his servants...

DM HolyWater |

After much deliberation I have chosen the following 4 characters. Please join me in the discussion thread guys.
Tragershen Elf - Bard//Wizard
Marvin the Strangler Human - Magus//Brawler
Luna Auriel Human - Bard//Magus/Rogue
Carnadine Dhampir - Antipaladin//Oracle
Sorry to everyone else. There were definitely enough of you that I really liked that I could do two 'tables' but right now I need to focus on making 1 work first. Best of luck in future applications.

DM HolyWater |

We 'may' have lost one of the group already. Our Bard Magus has disappeared for unknown reasons about a week ago. If you are still around, are not currently playing in a way of the wicked game already, have a character that isn't too similar to my current players and are ok with playing from part way through the first book then post below and I shall consider a replacement character. I most likely won't choose any more full caster classes, but you never know. I chose the current party because they were interesting characters/backgrounds.

Mefika |

If you'd be alright with taking me onboard then I'd be happy to retool the crunch details for Cassus Davinor, as long as a some sort of divine class is part of the gestalt to symbolise his bargain/pact with Asmodeus I feel that it would still be in line with his existing backstory. Off the top of my head a swashbuckler//warpriest could be fun...

Mefika |

After giving it some thought I've decided to rebuild Cassus as an Inquisitor/Swashbuckler (nobody expects the Asmodean Inquisition!), I think it will be fun style to play and though the build will be a bit more MAD than before I don't really see any problems with that. I'll get working on it and send you a line once it's been completed and updated into the alias profile for your perusal.

Mefika |

Thanks for the advice, I actually had looked into that for consideration however didn't feel the benefits were worth the drawbacks for gaining back panache in this instance, especially considering the bonus to feats DM Holywater is providing covering Dex to Dmg concerns. I will be taking Infiltrator archetype for the Inquisitor though, it gives some bonuses that mesh with having a higher Wis and flavour-wise it seems like it fits in well thematically with the campaign as well.

Cyrus is alarmingly short for a huaman, standing only at five feet tall. Lithe and pale, he exudes insecurity, though it be only a guise. He dresses in dark clothing: black with earthy tones. His hair is jet-black, almost giving it a greasy appearance, and his eyes are a deep, unnatural royal blue.
Cyrus believes in loyalty and honor to commitments, but only to those who deserve it. He has accepted that working with Cardinal Thorne is for the greater good of Talingarde. He has a soft spot for children, and an aversion to fire.
If you had told Cyrus a year earlier that he would be working for the High Priest of Asmodeus, he may have died in laughter. Born and raised in Matharyn, he was as devout as they came: his love for Mitra was nearly unmatched; so much that on his 18th birthday he enlisted in the Kings Army. Lord Barca saw promise in the young man, who made up for his lack of physical girth in speed and precision, and sent him to work for the Mitran Church. The Church employed him on delicate missions: seeking out blasphemers and desecrators, and bringing them to justice; recovering stolen artifacts and church relics, and apprehending those responsible for taking them; and infiltrating the slave market to capture traders, as well as free those wrongfully taken. The years of work showed him the darkest side of Talingarde; the parts the blissful residents of Matharyn dare not even imagine. Though slightly jaded from the experience, his unique (and sometimes inappropriate) sense of humor left him able to weather it.
Sadly, all good things must come to an end. His final mission sent him to small fishing community near Daveryn. He met with his contact, Bishop Zass, who tasked him with finding out who was repeatedly desecrating the local temple. While finding the perpetrator, Gavin Prince, was a simple enough task, what he learned from the 'villain' was horrifying: the vandalism was occurring because Bishop Zass was taking liberties with Prince's young son. Outraged and disgusted, Cyrus attacked Bishop Zass, subduing and bonding him, and loaded him up to take to Matharyn for trial.
Too bad for Cyrus that Bishop Zass had friends in high places. Upon arriving to the capital, Cyrus was arrested and charged with kidnapping; though the word 'charged' is hardly fair, considering he was dragged to Branderscar the same day, without trial.
As Cyrus leaned against the wall with his arms shackled over his head, only one through ran through his head....
Why has Mitra forsaken me...?
What ensued was a breakdown of everything he had ever known. Even as a prisoner, he thought he had rights, but the guards were eager to brand his arm. They were as corrupt as the slave traders he used hunt down. Criminal scum like the ones he so eagerly captured before were soon to help him escape from the hell of Branderscar, escaping mainly through means of a corrupt Sergeant and a lazy Warden. He concluded that Talingarde was backwards; he knew change must inevitably come. Meeting Cardinal Thorne just reaffirmed those beliefs; everything he said made perfect sense. Talingarde needed to be reborn, and Cyrus wants to be on top when it happens.
(Gear and a more detailed background coming soon, just fleshing him out, thanks for the opportunity to submit)
