Rosemary was a bizarre orphan. A Dhamphir in Talingarde, she was villainized and demonized. The children called her freak, called her demon, called her monster. She was a monster, the kind that was called siren, luring with her beauty, betraying with her tongue. Reveling in her ostracization she played the pariah, fed their image of fear. Nurturing scorn in her heart as a black rose. With every breath she lied, every look enticed, promising pleasure and ecstasy. She delivered death and betrayal.

She was beautiful and pale. Small and dangerous. Eventually she was introduced to the Worship of Zura, the Vampire queen. Unlike many of her kind Rose emulated vampirism and was impressed with it more than repulsed by it. She yearned to become a full Vampire, yearned for power, and she would do anything to get it. Kill, lie, use sex, cheat. Whatever it took she would be free of these prudish Mitrans, their sun god was the natural enemy of her lady. As she reached adulthood her ability to attract heightened, she fed as if she was a vampire when she could. There were plenty who would allow it, holy men always desired the forbidden, men impressed with the dark, with her.

She has been working her way up through Talingarde low society, sticking to backroom intrigue and discretely killing. In an act of fealty to Zura, she performed a blood rite in a Mitran church. The clerics saved her victim, a young girl. She was charged with Desecration and thrown into prison.
