I completely forgot about background skills.
And I'm an Aegis, Pretty much can do what is needed at the time. Nil won't use his Armor version often, but wont be afraid to do so either. 2d6+7 ain't nothing to sneeze at.
Oh, just remembered another issue. Last DM let me take the +2 Int variant Aasimar ability. I'm guessing that's a no-go here since we were supposed to roll?

survival is a handy skill to have, especially if we're going to be traveling in the wilderness a bit.. don't know if anyone else took survival skill.
Mainly I was just waiting on confirmation that everyone's sheet was 100% and to see if any of you wanted to work out any more to your back story such as if you knew any other characters ahead of time, etc.
If everyone is ready then I'll get something of substance up in the game play soon.

I'm thinking that since Alianne is looking for her captive, and hopefully not yet sacrificed younger sister, maybe Neils is helping her out with that? He sounds like the type to stand up for a lady in need, for a given value of 'lady'. He needs heroic deeds on his resume if he's ever to found that knightly order, after all.

I will rework the backstory some - that was written for a RotRL game I will work on that tonight.

Okay, so they probably went in there to get his body, and died. NB: in lair of 'strange insect thing', look out for loot. There should be a magical throwing axe. Also, there should be dead dwarves lying around somewhere nearby, might be you could loot those too.
