JJ takes a careful step sideways, trying to slowly get around the back of the mighty wyrm. As he does so, the youth brings Alakast around and starts to thwack the fell beast as fast as he can.

Though if he is anything like that previous one, I'm thinking it'll be little more than a gnat biting at me.

Accepting the blessing of the maiden of graves, JJ does his best to bring MoltenWing to its own one as his motions begin to blur.

5' step, aiming to gain a little height if I can as I do so. Probably not even 5' up yet, but if I slowly do it, then I'm hoping over the rounds, I'll gain a little altitude.

attacks:

Taking the bonus for extra attack this round, we'll see how hard Molten wing is to actually hurt. I think I may be ending up doing the +2 to hit all too soon.
Adding +2d6 damage as I suspect it is evil, if it is just neutral, then reduce damage.

primary attack, TWF: 1d20 + 25 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 25 - 2 = 37
TWF attack, TWF: 1d20 + 25 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 25 - 2 = 32
secondary attack, TWF: 1d20 + 20 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 20 - 2 = 33
ITWF attack, TWF: 1d20 + 20 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 20 - 2 = 24
tertiary attack, TWF: 1d20 + 15 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 15 - 2 = 20
fervor attack, TWF: 1d20 + 25 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 25 - 2 = 24

I'll roll a set of miss chances. Just work through them, as I'm not sure how many of the attacks have the potential of hitting.

If one is a miss, take the following one as a blindfighting second chance roll..

miss chances: 1d100 ⇒ 34 - automiss
miss chances: 1d100 ⇒ 92 - but hits due to blindfighting
miss chances: 1d100 ⇒ 26 - automiss
miss chances: 1d100 ⇒ 85- but hits due to blindfighting
miss chances: 1d100 ⇒ 17 - automiss
miss chances: 1d100 ⇒ 92but hits due to blindfighting

I doubt the AC 20/24 ones have even a chance of hitting.

Kythel reaches into his backpack and pulls one of his scrolls and casts the mighty Mass Heal curing a significant amount of damage to his allies!

Not sure of the level the scroll was drafted at but if keyed on Kythel's levels, everyone but JJ who is just out of range, are healed 130 points of HP damage.

Marigold's Round 2

"Aiiieee!"

Marigold shrieks with pain as she's doused in lava breath, which clings and continues to burn and burn! Still, she powers through the pain and attempts to call down the cold void of space against the mighty Moltenwing!

Interstellar Void (Su):

You call upon the frigid depths of outer space to bring a terrible chill to your enemies. As a standard action, one target within 30 feet is cloaked in the void and takes 1d6 points of cold damage per level. A successful Fortitude save halves this damage. At 10th level, the interstellar void is so extreme that enemies who fail their saving throw are fatigued. At 15th level, creatures who fail their save are exhausted and stunned for 1 round. You can use this ability once per day plus one additional time per day at 10th level.

Iron Gods: Iron maps;

Being an extraplanar dragon of fire, JJ's dominance of the plane of fire kicks in boosting his attacks! Thanks to that and his training with that he cannot see, he smashes the dragon's left wing with his first attack. The other ones fail to pierce the creatures' tough hide. AC

From pure gut reaction to laying his eyes on the dragon, Kikinnin marks the creature for Abadar's righteous ire. Sense Motive v DC 22: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

Kikinnin watches JJ engage the monster in draconic tongue, and fails to understand the moment when hostilities prove inevitable. His chin hairs prickle a little, but the black beard shrugs off the part of his reptile brain which would encourage him to flee in fear.

He allows himself to be whisked to proximity, though he wonders how quickly he'd have run through the air to flank the foe.

Moltenwing wrote:
"Ah, I see you came with friends to steal Moltenwing's hoard!"

Kikinnin's not sure he likes hearing the common tongue, now that Moltenwing speaks it. He does, however, shoot Maxim a questioning look, as the dragon mentions a hoard.

"Kan gjøre opp for hamstringen vi ikke fant fra den siste draken. Kanskje den er gjemt bak gullveven?"

Dwarven:

"Might make up for the hoard we failed to find from the last drak. Maybe it's tucked behind the gold weave?"

Blessing of Fervor for +2s

The black beard considers the burning breath of the beast, glad of Juraan's protections. He decides to introduce Eldgammel to the base of Moltenwing's impressive neck. He also decides to ask Abadar for an immediate protection against an unnecessary tail slap injury. Cast Defensively automatically made- Grace(Avoid AoO as Swift Action)

ROUND 3 Blessing of Fervour: +2 bonus on attack rolls and a +2 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves. Icy Blast on one barrel...

As he sees his last shot stymied by the drakes displacement, Maxim curses and mulls a rethink...

"Hell's Teeth! Darned wyrm is a canny one... But this mage is cannier..."

He once again burns some of his spellcasting energy (Swift Action: Sacrifice Detect Magic for Seeking weapon property on 2nd barrel)

Seeking:

This special ability can only be placed on ranged weapons. A seeking weapon veers toward its target, negating any miss chances that would otherwise apply, such as from concealment. The wielder still has to aim the weapon at the right square. Arrows mistakenly shot into an empty space, for example, do not veer and hit invisible enemies, even if they are nearby.

The gun-mage then plugs the barrel with an alchemical cartridge (Move Action), levels and fires! (Standard Action Ranged Touch)

"Wow!" says JJ at Kikinnin's felling of the mighty moltenwing. "That was impressive. Biggest rat you're ever likely to catch eh?" he jokes with Kikinnin.

Still, deep inside there is a small feeling of loss. That such a mighty beast had fallen strikes within the lad in an unexpected way. Sure, Moltenwing was evil and self centered. Sure he would have roasted the Watchers without a second thought, and probably had done so to other groups in the past. But he was a creature of the world, and thus, JJ feels its loss.

When Maxim pulls aside the curtain to reveal the dragon hoard, his vocabulary is not improved in the slightest "Wow!"

He eyes up the candelabra and tapestry, the rub and the hairbrush with particular interest. "Sara would love these!" he adds with perhaps misplaced enthusiasm.

Perception DC 35:

You find a cleverly concealed action point where the wall can be forced to turn. Likely moving the two people in front just to the other side.

Kikinnin looks around and sees a corridor to the east, finishing in a door, and another room in perfect darkness to the west, from where a strong odor comes.

C7
This chamber reeks of a strong, acrid odor. A pale green ichor coats the floor in the chamber beyond, and a strange, warped furniture can be seen among the room's contents. A rack has been attached to the far wall, and stretched out on it are the burned and disfigured remains of at least seven humanoids, although an exact number is difficult to ascertain given the condition of the corpses.

"Anyone recognize them?" he asks, sadly.
