sorry for not being much on board recently, I've been having a heavy time at work.
Besides, I'm flying tomorrow to Vienna to present a paper. To be honest, I think I'll be doing a bit of sightseeing on my free time, so I don't know how often I'll be able to come here. I'll try.

Good luck on the paper delivery. I suppose its delivered by now. Do they knock on the table in Vienna instead of clap at the end of a good paper? I presented a paper in Aachen Germany once and everyone knocked instead of clapped. That was new to me.
At one time I knew something about Encryption and Access Control. That is a very dynamic field and its been quite a few years since I studied CS. I am an engineer who went back for a masters in computer science only to find that I make better money as an engineer.

Sorry I haven't been posting much. The weekend is my time to get major errands done and I had a lot to do. Things have been slow for me at work so I will use that time to get up to speed.

Considering that I need my credentials to do anything it's not a big deal. I work in IT for some local hospitals so my admin login is essential. I cannot do about 95% of the work I normally would.

Several years ago, I was scheduled to present a paper on some low-friction coating commercialization work at a meeting in München...in early October. That was going to be a hardship to manage, let me tell you. Unfortunately, this was in 2001, and in mid-September the Department of Energy put a moratorium on all non-essential foreign travel. And sending me to Oktoberfest was not deemed essential, for some reason. Ah, well.
Ding-dong, the Harrow's done! We now return you to more active adventuring.
Mind you, it's a lucky thing Kyrax made such a positive impression on Aniseed with that Diplomacy check, or at least one of you would be hopping around, looking for a lily-pad and some juice flies... ;)
