When my invis pops grab a handful of sand throw it around try to see if I hit anything.... tell Quar to do he same on his right side reinvis move to Quars left assuming I didn't hit and watch for foot prints its large they shoukd be pretty easy to see in the sand.
you did not say you went invis or moved. so that is why he attacked you. had you said you went invi and moved he would not have attacked. so that is what I went with. and the concentration was for him not you.

The caravan lost a few good people in the attack, Hassaam and Quar were unable to locate the leader of the raid, though eventually he appeared after he moved on past the two of them. The raiders moved off when they discovered that there was not much to be gained at the caravan.
Vasid managed to save the lives of a few of the men on his own.
A few days later the caravan arrives at the Oasis. Whatever Hassaam was expecting he is surprised to find nothing more than an Oasis. No structures, nothing. The caravan circles up.

Sketches the oasis. And search around a bit maybe do some swimming then on to the next site. And as for the rebuild I'm just trying to think if I will enjoy the one ir two I think will be fun as much as I am what I have.

It is a tight squeeze for Hasaam but they get down to the bottom and Vasid tosses up and ioun torch...where he got that Hasaam has no idea.
It is a fairly large cavern after you venture a good 75 feet in. Then it opens to a room with a statue of a creature with a wicked looking sword in one hand and a wand in the other.

arcana 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18 Hasaam seems to vaguely recall reading about statues relating to paths taken and turned aside from and that they do…something depending on which one you face and interact with.
history 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19 nope, he knows that statues have been used throughout history to do many things.

Vasid these statues can change us. For better or worse use one if you wish but be aware the change will be permanent

In the beginning of the game you to pick a path for yourself and another path that you close yourself to by picking wand, shield, or sword. Then you do it again lol for what you give up.
Hasaam will look for something similar to how he sees himself now.

There is a flash and Hassaam floats in the ether. Images flash before him, most mean nothing to him, but something jogs a bit of his memory. He sees a battle, he recognizes himself and Vuvu and the little Zoog in desperate combat. Some temple in the desert.
Hassaam sees himself casting spells far beyond his ability level, none can he remember howo cast until he sees himself creating shrunken of fire around himself and them flying in all directions against foes.
you have relearned fiery shrunken so when you level you will get your usual 2 spells, plus that spell as well
He sees himself causing smoke to leak out of his ring and creating a cloud around himself to sneak through and past foes. You can use you ring as a standard action to create a smoke cloud in your square that follows you, giving you concealment 20% miss chance and if it is dark giving you a bonus to stealth of +5, it last 1 rd per level, and dissipates if you attack
He sees the battle continue and he sees himself fall.
Images continue and he sees Vasid tied down in front of him not moving or awake. Hassaam has a dagger in his hand.
A voice roars in his head.

Wait I already have a plate of spell knowledge for that spell.....and wow obsessed with that spell much?
He laughs and sets the dagger to his own wrist after ripping Vasid's gag off. Efreet am I not demon or undead. The blood of innocent is not for me. Instead I give him what I was and I will make my own path once again. With that he slits his wrist and lets the blood drip into Vasid's mouth.
