Uesugi, whirlwind damage this round: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Gallix hits the elemental with one solid punch. And the three elementals behind Efwurwa swarm the party...

Gallix takes a hit to the shoulder, and Mr. Peppers actually feels the pain from a melee attack for the first time in a long time.
The whirlwind continues to whip around both Uesugi and Sirettis.

I moved Sirettis out of the whirlwind since it released her and she still has a move action. Sirettis, you can move somewhere else if you'd like. The whirlwind does not threaten.

An air elemental hovers above Gallix's beaten body, about to pummel whatever remaining life remains from the brawler. Another two elementals set their sights on Cup and Sir D. Efwurwa herself holds her blade above Uesugi's head, preparing to strike a killing blow.
"The gnome called Cup? Never heard of you, lady!" Efwurwa responds. "Famous? It's pretty simple. You pay us, we kill things. Which reminds me... We have no agreement here, and I've already lost one of my own."
Efwurwa lowers her greatsword. "Forget it. I could leave six corpses here, and whatever loot you hold, but this is a waste of time. Let this be a lesson not to randomly use spells on unsuspecting mercenary groups. You might just die next time."
The air elementals lower their guard and float towards Efwurwa. The group walks off towards the airship.
I have gone with a rewind here for a few reasons. 1) I did not feel using the airship map was fair - you're not on an airship. 2) I chose starting token positions that automatically put you in a bad spot (these were GM determined, not specified in the PDF) 3) Cup missed a large portion of the fight and may have adjusted her tactics had she known what was going on.
I think I'm being reasonable here. I'd like you guys to rematch them on the actual airship - tomorrow in game, when the airship departs. The text does allow a surprise round if you'd chosen to fight them on the airship which could substantially have changed this fight.

The elementals you had fought earlier sail along the skies with the Williwaw, oblivious to your presence. You sneak up on deck and nod at Captain Beysal knowingly. She retreats down below with the rest of her crew, and then, you unleash a barrage of attacks on the unsuspecting foes.
The stinking cloud fills the air around the elementals, causing blue, green, and yellow to choke on the noxious vapor. Mr. Peppers throws a massive fireball at the group, and the ship shudders from the impact. When the smoke clears, most of the elementals look to have shielded themselves, but one in particular is missing half of its body.
Sir D blasts the weakest-looking elemental with sand, and the first mercenary is defeated before the battle actually begins.
"Ah, come for a rematch, have you? This time, you're really going to die."
Two of the nauseated elementals desperately fly out of the stinking cloud.

Tall, dark and explosive quickly sends another ball of bat poop at the slow to react elementals, cursing in Elven as two escape the blast radius just in time. "Give them all you've got!"

Mr. Peppers conjures another fireball in his palms and ejects it towards the elementals, burning up more of their planar selves. D zaps the poor nauseous elemental with dark energy.

Yellow blows past the fumes but can do little else as it struggles to keep its lunch down. Orange does the same - no elemental can seem to avoid the nasty fumes!
Efwurwa can, however, and the invisible stalker runs out of the stinking cloud. "Quit fleeing, you idiots. You're air elementals in the Plane of Air and you cannot deal with a little bit of stinking fumes? Bah. I'll have to do the dirty work myself!"

Gallix takes a quick step back from the orange-limned elemental. His eyes dart to the side as he sees his giant samurai buddy facing down the visible-to-him invisible stalker called Efwurwa. Damn, stupid engine thing is in the way,[i] he thinks to himself. [i]Ah well, guess I'll have to stick to taking out this guy. He directs his attention, and his fists, back toward the elemental struggling to hold down whatever it is that air elementals have for lunch, and unleashes on him.

Cup casts haste, catching everyone but Mr. Peppers in the effect. In Auran, she calls out, “Rematch? We never fought you! Do you have me confused with some other gnome? I understand that there are many of us here in the Plane of Air!”
