Rhadaya realizes that the sphere of ice is keeping the nymph alive but it would be possible to free her with a controlled melting of the ice.

Tesia thinks for a moment, "Sooooo...how would we do that? Like if I changed into a slightly smaller fire elemental and did a controlled burn? Keeping the heat at a consistent temperature and melting it slowly like that should work, shouldn't it?"

Looking over at Mirrin she nods, "Okay, I'll try that then."

Giving her love a kiss, Tesia changes back into a large fire elemental.

As her body grows in size and erupts in flames, Tesia places her arms in such a way so that they are kind of around the sphere. Raising her temperatures, Tesia concentrates to keep the heat at a constant temperature while making sure she isn't melting the ice too fast. She keeps an eye on the others for a clue that she needs to increase heat, or to stop heating it up.

Landing beside the nymph, Rhadaya looks to see if she's breathing, turning to Tes, who had more experience with healing than she did.

Tesia returns to her origional form as soon as the nymph is free. Going to the Nymph, Tesia kneels on the ground beside her to check her vitals, asnd try to determine what condition she's in, as well as how best to help her.

Rhadaya sees that the nymph is breathing, although shallowly. Tesia determines that the nymph is suffering from hypothermia. She will need to be moved carefully to someplace warm, taken out of her wet clothing and covered with warm blankets.

Seeing her condition she says, "She needs to be made warm as quickly as possible. Shelter is too far away to take her there, and she's already suffering from hypothermia, so flying is out of the question. We're going to have to make camp here and get her warm. I need someone to set up the tent, and someone else to collect some firewood to build a fire while I get her out of these wet clothes and get her wrapped up in something warm. Thank goodness that Arista gave us all those extra blankets."

Working quickly, she takes one of the warm winter blankets out of the bag and lays it on the ground with a pillow before carefully undressing the Nymph and lying her on the warm dry blanket. Taking her warm sleep set, Tesia gets it on the Nymph with Rhadaya's help. Once the Nymph is dressed in the warm sleep set, Tesia wraps the blanket around her before picking her up and holding her so that she's not on the cold hard ground.

As she holds the Nymph to her to keep her warm, she has Rhy bring her another blanket to cover her with. Tesia sits on a fallen log and holds the Nymph to keep her warm as the others get the camp set up.

Sadhana manages to cut the worm a couple of times as it rears back to attack.

Roshan tries not to scream as he feels the poison coursing through his body, setting all of his nerves on fire as it does so. They just had to make it through this fight and then they could figure out how to get the poison out of him.

Deciding to just stay where he is, Roshan makes a full attack on the hideous beast.

Seeing Roshan stung by the massive worm, Celia moves closer, ready to offer support against whatever poison might be in his system. As she does, she invokes a blessing of prowess in battle, enhancing her companions abilities.

Each round for the duration of this spell, each of your allies can choose one of the following bonuses for that round at the beginning of its turn (their choice).

. Increase its speed by 30 feet.
. Stand up as a swift action without provoking an attack of opportunity.

Sienna calls forth a orb of burning flame between her hands. With a bit of concentration, the orb turns blue, trails of frost spiraling downward from it. With a flick of her hand, she sends the orb rushing forth to detonate behind the crimson worm.

Mythic Iceball: 10d10 ⇒ (8, 4, 2, 1, 4, 7, 7, 9, 3, 2) = 47; DC 21 reflex for 1/2 or catch fire...cold fire...yeah.

The worm is unaffected by Roshan's poison, but it roars as blue flames coat the end of its body. Between the burning flames of frost and the ranger's arrows, the beast is overcome. With a final roar, it falls to the ground and dies. Within seconds, Sienna's spell consumes the carcass, leaving nothing but ash on the ground.

As Roshan feels the strength being drained from him, he drops his rapier aznd goes down to his knees. He wouldn't last much longer without help.

Knowing that this poison could possibly finish him if they didn't find help soon, he does the only thing he can think of.

Closing his eyes, Roshan performs a quick spell to delay the effects of the poison. Hopefully it would be long enough to get somewhere they could get help.

Cast delay poison. Delays the effects of the poison for 12 hours, but it's still in my body.

Taking a steadying breath, Roshan picks his rapier up and manages to get to his feet. Looking at the others he says, "I can only delay the effects for about 12 hours before it begins affecting me again. I don't know what those buildings are, but I think we should head that way."

Roshan starts to chuckle, but it comes out as a cough as he grabs his side. Giving the others a nod he starts to head in the direction of the buildings that they saw, "I'll stick around for a while yet, if I have anything to say about it. Hopefully, someone there will be able to help. I am embarrassed to say that I hadn't anything planned in case of a huge poison fire worm attack...you know, since I've never seen one before and all." Roshan's attempt at lightening the mood is cut short by a coughing fit, "Really, we should try to hurry though."

Once Mirrin is done setting up the tent, Tesia has Rhy take the blanket she had on top of the Nymph, and lie it folded in half on the floor of the tent. After placing a pillow at the head, Tesia carefully lays the Nymph on top of the blanket. Taking another thick blanket from their bag, Tesia lays it over the Nymph before rechecking her vitals.

Neither Sienna nor Roshan spot anything else in the area.

This group will have to wait until Dark and Light catch up.

Tesia can tell the nymph is faring better, but, given the conditions of her imprisonment, it will still be quite some time before she comes to.

Looking up, Tesia stands and goes to her wife. Pulling Rhy close to her, Tesia kisses her cheek before nodding. Keeping an arm around her love, she looks back at the sleeping Nymph. "She seems to be doing better, but because of how she was imprisoned...well, there's no way to really tell exactly how long it will take her to come to. All we can do now is wait and see what happens."

Magestreia nods and starts arranging the wood. "Mirrin, do you have something to start the fire?"

Mirrin rummages through her backpack and brings out her flint and steel. She sits by Magestreia as she strikes the two objects together to produce a spark. "There we are."


Warmth fills the tent and, after a few minutes, the nymph begins to stir.

Tesia stays near the Nymph as she begins to stir. She adjusts the blankets, so that she doesn't get too warm too fast.

Tesia continues to monitor the Nymph's condition, as the warmth of the fire spreads throughout the tent. Looking over at Magestreia and Mirrin she gives them an appreciative nod, "Thanks for all the help. I think the warmth from the fire is helping."
