The plains beyond the temple are barren, not even trees dot the landscape. Roshan sees absolutely nothing as the group moves forward except for dying grass and the occasional bird flying overhead. Two hours later, you see rolling hills as black as coal stretched out before you.

Moving back to B10, and using my Wild Shape to turn into a huge Fire Elemental, after I have just a few short words with my wife.

Feeling the protection of Rhy's spell move through her, Tesia has an idea. She knew it might be a little risky, but she had to take the chance. Feeling her wife remove the bag from her back, Tesia takes a step back to stand next to her wife.

Putting a hand on her shoulder she says quickly, "There are healing potions in the bag if you need them. Be careful, and I promise to do the same. I love you."

Letting go of her wife, Tesia's body starts to grow and seems to become covered in flames as she turns into a huge fire elemental.

I think that's my turn. I moved, spoke, and cast my Wild Shape spell thingy. Really really hope this works.

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

Roshan seems to take in the scenery before them, "Wow...that looks pretty...desolate. Well....guess that means we're going in the right direction?"

Sadhana's grasp on Zahvroman history isn't good enough to determine why the land looks the way it does, but she's absolutely certain it isn't natural.

Roshan knows that this land is suffering from a terrible curse. Some have said it is because a paladin renounced her god.

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

Recalling the information he nods, "Ah yes, I seem to recall hearing about this place. It's believed that the land is cursed, and some say that it is the result of a Paladin that renounced her God."

"When we get a chance, I probably want to lose a layer of clothing."

The rays of flame find their target, reducing the golem to a large puddle.

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

Looking at the others he says, "Well, thankfully we have Celia's spell protecting us, or this trip would get really uncomfortable, really quickly."

Is it all ice or does it look like water under the ice?

It looks like water beneath the layer of ice.

Tesia looks to see if there is a good way of getting to the person underneath the ice, that's trapped in the ice bubble under water.

Hope that made sense.

I kind of thought about punching through the ice and then changing into something else that will allow me to get the person out of there....I'm just not sure how that would work exactly though.

Could work. Hit it using the Burn, special ability to do an additional 2d6 fire damage with your hits. Then turn to something that can swim/breathe water and get to them

"Very true. There's definitely an unexpected shift in climate here." Sadhana replies as they move forward into the cursed landscape.

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

Roshan nods, "In Zahvroma, it's always wise to expect the unexpected."

Tesia sees where the globe of ice is in the water, but she notices that the layer of ice seems to gleam as she stands on it.

Knowledge Arcana please.

Before long, Sadhana, Roshan, Celia, Cyna and Sienna spy three buildings on the horizon. The ground begins to shake beneath the groups feet.

Female Half-elf Druid 14/Hierophant 3 HP 123/130; AC 20, FF 19, Touch 11; Perception +30, Init +8; Fort: +12 (+5 vs cold weather), Ref: +6, Will: +16

Of course I don't have that knowledge. Magic? We don't need to know about any stinking magic. Lol I just make storms, I don't understand it?

A little more than baffled by what she sees, Tesia turns to Rhy and makes a shrugging gesture while pointing down at the ice they stand on. Not wanting to change back just yet, but unable to communicate in her current form, Tesia makes gestures to indicate that she isn't sure what to do next.

She hopes that her wife can understand her well enough to know that she wants her to take a closer look at the ice they are standing on.

Going to Rhy, she is careful not to touch her with her fire hands. Tesia points to Rhy, then points to her eye. She then points down at the ice they are standing on.

I hope that's clear enough. I don't think I have sign language as one of my languages. Lol Though I'm really tempted to take it for these occasions. I'm pretty sure that I can't speak as an elemental. We need like a permanent version of the message spell or something...that would be helpful.

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

Roshan looks up at the group, "I believe we should move quickly." His voice is calm, but there is a look of surprise and sense of urgency in his words as he tries to think of way to quickly get them all away from the shaking earth, while trying to figure out what could be causing it to do that. He didn't remember the ground quaking like that before...but as he stated before, one could never tell what strange things would happen in Zahvroma.

Knowledge Geography: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (18) + 22 = 40

know history: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (19) + 22 = 41

know nature: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

How many people can I take through dimension door? I don't remember, and my head is hurting too much to try and figure it out. I forget how far away I can move at a time too...

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

"Quickly, there's no time."

Being familiar with the area, or at least stories surrounding it, Roshan doesn't feel comfortable at all with the ground shaking. As a matter of fact, it causes him a great deal of concern.

Feeling that due haste was required here, Roshan locks eyes with the magus. Taking a quick breath he reaches out and touches her arm, "I trust you, trust me. We have to be quick." Looking quickly at the others he says, "Everyone take a hand or something and hold on." While he used this spell for short distance hops, he had never before attempted going quite so far with so many people...since he never seemed to be around this many people at once before.

Shutting all other thoughts out, Roshan concentrates on a point in the distance. Praying silently to Cayden for guidance, Roshan attempts to move them away from the shaking earth.

If everyone is okay with this, and no one resists. I will be moving us 840 feet ahead. Like towards the buildings we can see on the horizon. If we can see buildings and the land is barren, I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna move us into a solid object. Right? I just wanted to make sure it was okay before going through with it. I don't know, I'm sorry...I get nervous about touching strange women that I don't really know.

Female Sylph Sorceress (Stormborn) 14 Mythic Tier 3rd: Archmage. HP: 80/80. AC: 22 touch 20 FF: 16. Fort: +7 Reflex: +7 Will: +9. Electricity res: 5 Sonic res:5

Staying a few feet off the surface of the ice, Rhadaya flies alongside Tes, looking down and studying the ice below.

Knowledge Arcana: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13

Rhadaya isn't exactly sure why, but she believes that the ice on the surface may be something else.

After Roshan teleports the group, he looks behind him to see a gout of flame erupt from the ground and the massive head of a crimson worm burst forth. It roars and sinks back into the ground.

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

Roshan's eyes get about as large as they possibly can, "Holy Hells!" He exclaims as he looks back at the massive creature, "I think we should keep moving, and quickly."

Female Tiefling Sorcerer 14; Mythic Tier 4th (Archmage) HP: 103/103; AC: 21, T: 14, FF: 17; Fort: +8, Ref: +10, Will: +11, Init: +12, Perception: +11

"That would explain why it's so warm here," Sienna says. "I think it might pursue us though."

She turns to Cyna. "Think we can handle something like that?"

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

Roshan would be lying if the thought of facing something like that didn't make him just a little nervous, but he wasn't alone anymore either and these women, the ones he had heard all the stories about seemed pretty formidable.

Looking from the sorceress to the scary silent one he tilts his head to the side slightly, "Do you really think we can?" He asks, sounding a little nervous and hopeful at the same time.

Female Tiefling Sorcerer 14; Mythic Tier 4th (Archmage) HP: 103/103; AC: 21, T: 14, FF: 17; Fort: +8, Ref: +10, Will: +11, Init: +12, Perception: +11

"It's probably vulnerable to cold things and I can do that," Sienna answers. "So, yeah, I think we can take it down."

Female Human (Anizari) Female Human (Anizari) Magus (Bladebound) 14 : Mythic tier 4th (Champion ); HP: 160/160; AC:34 FF:30, T:15; Init:+5, Fort: +12, Ref: +6, Will: +10; Perception:+4(+6)

Taking her shield off of her back, Sadhana begins a brief ritual chant, her finger tracing a blazing silver rune in the pupil of the Eye of Aroden, before readying it on her arm. "I'm sure we can handle it, though we should definitely be ready for it."

As she speaks, she draws Oblivion, empowering her weapon with a brief exertion of arcane power.

Standard action: Enruned shield. Swift action: Spend 1 arcane pt. Oblivion:(Enhanced) +5 (Frost) Blackblade longsword +20/+20 1d8+8 +1d6

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

So...you guys are like Mythic, so that means you're pretty much famous. That's what I'm basing a lot of my reactions to stuff off of, so if it comes off sounding a bit fannish...I'm sorry. It's hard for me to play off certain things. I'll try not to be all gushing and stuff though. Lol

Roshan nods and smiles as his mind tries to take in everything that's happening. He couldn't believe he was actually going to fight beside the legendary heroes of Zahvroma. Well, he wasn't actually sure if they "Legendary" yet....but if not, they were the closest thing to it.

Taking a moment to clear his mind and focus, he lets out a slow steady breath. "Alright then, I will do my best to aid you. Though I'm sure you all do very well on your own. I mean...well, that's not really important right now I guess..." Giving them a smile to try to cover the awkwardness that he feels, Roshan pulls his rapier and gives them all a slight bow. "It is an honor to fight beside you." He then readies himself to engage the enemy.

I really hope that made sense. My weapon is just a weapon, so I'll do my best to just keep everyone healthy and help out where I can. *nervous laughter*

Female Half-elf Druid 14/Hierophant 3 HP 123/130; AC 20, FF 19, Touch 11; Perception +30, Init +8; Fort: +12 (+5 vs cold weather), Ref: +6, Will: +16

Tesia looks at Rhy questioningly. She hoped her love could give some insight as how to deal with this issue.

"You'll do just fine." Celia says with a calm, reassuring confidence as she draws her sword, resting a hand on Roshan's shoulder for a moment. Speaking a brief prayer to Aroden, the Anizari priestess emanates a wave of confidence that envelops her companions like a physical presence.
