Lyn races over and incants a short arcane phrase, turning the ground under the creature slick!
Casting grease. DC 15 Reflex save or yeti falls prone. Affected square outlined with double black line.
"Careful where you step Theor!"

DM Rickmeister |

Reflex: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Thaurux, are you lost?
Skipping to yeti in t minus 18 hours

DM Rickmeister |

Thaurux: it was "everyone and then yeti" :p
Also: you cannot charge since you are fatigued.
Okay, here goes, hope everyone can follow my train of thought.!
Horatius: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Thauraux: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Theor: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
Lynthara: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Leiff: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (12) + 0 = 12
in fear for 1 round. This is a mind-affecting fear paralysis
effect.
As everyone closes on the yeti, it looks around and its gaze burns into your very hearts. The creature instills fear into your hearts, but everyone seems to remain calm except for Thaurux, who seems to doubt his very being there.
His attack misses but provides Horatius with enough distraction to slice into the creature.
The creature uses this moment to roar and slash around itself, trying to take down the creature in front of it that hurt it. Horatius takes on claw to the chest armor, but is not fast enough to respond to the second one which rips through his lower leg and almost causes him to fall down.
As the creature grins at Horatius, it stabs with a spear into his chest, causing the paladin to choke on his own blood, while falling down into the snow!
The creature then moves closer to the paralyzed Thaurux, ready to repeat his previous succesful assault.
Don't know if you can 5FS in grease though.. Lynthara?
Claws Horatius: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20>1d4 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 2 + (6) = 12
Spear Horatius: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16>2 + 1d6 ⇒ 2 + (1) = 3
Acro: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

Noticing the immediate danger.... Leiff evokes words of power and what seems to start as a shine from his swords.... errupts into a bolt of light which explodes in front of the creatures face...
flare as standard action... dc13 fort save for the yeti or it is dazzled for 1 minute
Leiff then moves toward Horatius who seems to be wounded badly....
move action

Lyn cancels her grease spell, takes a 5' step closer to the yeti and shoots sparks and lights from her hands!
Casting Daze. DC 14 Will save or the creature can take no actions on its next turn. Only affects creatures of 4 HD or less, though.

DM Rickmeister |

Lyn, you can't dismiss and cast in the same turn.
Dismissing an active spell is a standard action that doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity.

DM Rickmeister |

Okay, grease is still active.
As Lynn releases a burst of light in front of the creature, Theor uses the moment to step up and slash at its chest.
Horatius, lieing on the floor, gives no benefit to the creature attemptig to dodge the blow, and when Theor pulls back his weapon to strike again, the creature slumps into a pile.
It breathes a few more times while the pool of blood becomes bigger under both it and Horatius.

![]() |

The worst of his wounds closed by Leiffs magics, Horatius picks himself up and surveys the scene. Retrieving his sword while thanking the bard he then applies his own healing before the group moves one.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

DM Rickmeister |

I'm ready once everyone's posted that/ how they want to continue.

DM Rickmeister |

Sorry, busy weekend and bit of a sunstroke.
Don't be afraid to poke me though guys.
Will post in few hours when I have the adventure pdf handy.

DM Rickmeister |

Three doors are there, and choose you must.
Map updated!

DM Rickmeister |

Eleven ruined mattresses and a few aged and cracked pots are this room’s only furnishings. A section of the ceiling has collapsed in the northwestern corner of the room, causing the wind to howl eerily as it blows over the building. A series of images has been carved into the still-standing sections of the room’s walls, each image indicating a humanoid in a series of different positions and stances.
Don't forget to adjust your positions on the map guys :)

![]() |

When Theor indicates he is ready to open the first door Horatius makes his way up the stairs and moves past the rannger. Sword at the ready he takes a position a bit south of the rest to watch for any activity from that direction while the party looks to the room.
[ooc]Paladin in place :)[/b]

![]() |

Horatius follows into the room allowing Lyn and Leiff to move past so he can provide a rear guard. Once in he notes the rubble, giving it a look to see if it contains any dangers.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

![]() |

Seeing no immediate threats, Theor moves up to the eastern door to get a better idea of the place. He listens for anything on the other side before opening it to see what lies on the other side.
Stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

DM Rickmeister |

Map updated!
The remains of four wooden training dummies stand in the northeast corner of this wide courtyard, while a few scraggly plants struggle to grow in the southeast corner.
A cracked mosaic lies half-buried beneath years of dirt in the training ground’s center.

DM Rickmeister |

![]() |

Walking out into the training area Horatius takes a moment to consider the mosaic.
K:Reglion: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
The foreign symbology eludes him however and he turns his attention back to Theor.
I took the liberty of moving Lyn to the doorway. I'm guessing that was where you wanted her.

DM Rickmeister |

Okay. Just waiting for the others to chime in.
Glad to see you back to your posting routine :)

DM Rickmeister |

Two large, corroded cooking pots dominate the center of this otherwise unadorned, long, tiered room.
A very strong and big yeti uses this monastery room as his lair.
Theor, opening the door and putting his head inside, is immediately greeted by the yeti, charging him and leaving gigantic JUST claw marks above his head.
Horatius: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Leiff: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Theor: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Lynthara: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Thauraux: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (20) - 1 = 19

Y: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
