Female Half-Elf Bard (Archivist) 5/ Pathfinder Chronicler 1 (hp 49/49; AC 18/14/14; 15/15 rounds)

Vertielle uses a spell to quickly sift through the boxes, nodding towards the second door.
Sift Perception: 1d20 + 12 - 5 ⇒ (5) + 12 - 5 = 12

Wood quickly follows Zhiden, preparing the required ingredients to summon a creature.

Female Assimar (with Ulfen blood) Cleric(Theologian) 4 / Monk(Spirit Master) 2

"Let's be one guard as I think the doggy alerted them to us."

"Vell, Hy guess ve iz done vit de sottle."

Bull Rush: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29

Gkirkhan turns the door to splinters, hammer and sword in hand.

Female Half-Elf Bard (Archivist) 5/ Pathfinder Chronicler 1 (hp 49/49; AC 18/14/14; 15/15 rounds)

Vertielle steps briskly into the room after Gkirkhan, her whip in one hand and sword in the other.

Male hp 19/36; AC 21/14/19 Level 5 Burglar

Zhiden continued along, staying behind the leaders this time, after a moment of clarity made him realize the consequences of going first if he wasn't as stealthy as he believed.

Wood taps Rova with his wand as soon as he realizes the big man is going to burst down the door.

Enlarge on Rova, always fun. Can't play favorites with the buffs.

Half-orc
Normal:
HP: 14/14 AC 17/13/14: F+3, R +3, W -2, Per:-2, Init: +3

Heh, now we just need to get him a reach weapon. I love playing Gkirkhan. Sometimes it's just fun to play a character that's as subtle as a sledgehammer to the face.

Female Half-Elf Bard (Archivist) 5/ Pathfinder Chronicler 1 (hp 49/49; AC 18/14/14; 15/15 rounds)

This scene is still paused in my head, Gkirkhan's foot firmly through the door, splinters flying everywhere while Wood glows with magic as a mountainous mass of grey and black metal slowly rises to a whopping fourteen feet tall behind Vertielle, her whip gracefully winding behind her, just above the head of sneaking Zhiden.

Male hp 19/36; AC 21/14/19 Level 5 Burglar

Wow, that was nice, Vertielle, all that was missing from it was a nice quip, something like looking over your shoulder and saying, "did someone call for an extra large can of whoop-ass?"

Or maybe something simple, like "Let's dance."

Half-orc
Normal:
HP: 14/14 AC 17/13/14: F+3, R +3, W -2, Per:-2, Init: +3

Gkirkhan saying "Guten Tag" perhaps?

Female Half-Elf Bard (Archivist) 5/ Pathfinder Chronicler 1 (hp 49/49; AC 18/14/14; 15/15 rounds)

Vertielle smirks as she ducks under some shrapnel from what was once a door. She gives the room a scanning glance and apologetically addresses the stunned inhabitants.
Sorry, but your doorbell was broken.

DM Ninja/infinite

The now immense Rova has some issues entering the next room.

Rova is 8' tall normally. ;)

The room is a stable containing one broken-down horse just barely away from the knacker's knife in the first stall and the second supplying what appears to be barracks for more of the Mongrel men. There is a ladder (not shown) against the back wall of the second stall, leading up to a closed trap door.

Female Half-Elf Bard (Archivist) 5/ Pathfinder Chronicler 1 (hp 49/49; AC 18/14/14; 15/15 rounds)

The horse nickers at our grand entrance.

Vertielle shrugs, moving over to the ladder and testing it briefly.
She inclines her head towards Rova.
Ain't gonna fit him up there now. Maybe he can just set us down upstairs, though.

Half-orc
Normal:
HP: 14/14 AC 17/13/14: F+3, R +3, W -2, Per:-2, Init: +3

Gkirkhan, halfway to the ladder, hammer in hand, turns back looking very confused.

"Vhy? Hy tot ve vas done vit de sottle."

Female Half-Elf Bard (Archivist) 5/ Pathfinder Chronicler 1 (hp 49/49; AC 18/14/14; 15/15 rounds)

Even not being sottle will not defy the laws of gravity, Vertielle says with a chuckle.

Half-orc
Normal:
HP: 14/14 AC 17/13/14: F+3, R +3, W -2, Per:-2, Init: +3

"Oh great, vot law did Hy break dis time?"

Vertielle believes that Gkirkhan is going to understand the laws of gravity?

Female Half-Elf Bard (Archivist) 5/ Pathfinder Chronicler 1 (hp 49/49; AC 18/14/14; 15/15 rounds)

Perhaps not, but I trust that you'll come back with a hysterical response from our beloved half-orc half-freight train.

Half-orc
Normal:
HP: 14/14 AC 17/13/14: F+3, R +3, W -2, Per:-2, Init: +3

I hope I delivered. :D

Male hp 19/36; AC 21/14/19 Level 5 Burglar

I do so love Gkirhan, but I have to say, sometimes he needs a translator. For example, this line:

Gkirkhan wrote:
"Vhy? Hy tot ve vas done vit de sottle."
For the record, would that translate into:
Translated wrote:
'Why? I thought we was done with the battle.'

Half-orc
Normal:
HP: 14/14 AC 17/13/14: F+3, R +3, W -2, Per:-2, Init: +3

Sottle = subtle. Gkirkhan was an attempt at building a Jagermonster from Girl Genius. If you read the comic, it gets a little easier to unerstand. Plus, the comic is well worth reading anyway. As I said at the beginning of the game, if I need to provide translations I can.
At any rate, I'm glad you like him. I worry when I play characters that can and probably will get he party into trouble at some point. If everyone's having fun and likes the character, though, I'm not quite as worried about making someone mad at me.

Female Half-Elf Bard (Archivist) 5/ Pathfinder Chronicler 1 (hp 49/49; AC 18/14/14; 15/15 rounds)

If you get us into trouble, it's going to be fun and hilarious. I'm all for it.

Female Assimar (with Ulfen blood) Cleric(Theologian) 4 / Monk(Spirit Master) 2

Of course getting into trouble and back out of it is the fun ;P

Female Assimar (with Ulfen blood) Cleric(Theologian) 4 / Monk(Spirit Master) 2

"Let's get going this case is not going to solve itself."

DM Ninja/infinite

Those of you capable of climbing the ladder pop open a trapdoor into the loading bay.

The loading bay is currently empty except for a few wooden cases and a retractable wood and iron crane in front of the sliding door overlooking the courtyard.

treasure:

12 vials of acid
12 vials of nushadir
5 tanglefoot bags
3 thunderstones

The only other exits appear to be the sliding door to the dock (you can use the crane to get Rova up) and a door in the north wall.

Wood points to the treasure:
"I'll take three flasks of acid in case I get low on spells."

He puts them in a belt pouch.

Half-orc
Normal:
HP: 14/14 AC 17/13/14: F+3, R +3, W -2, Per:-2, Init: +3

Bullrush: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26

Gkikhan looks at the door to the north. He sets the hammer down against his leg and uses his thumb to line up the door. The hammer is back in his hands and a moment later another door is in shambles.

Okay, I think we should start searching as quickly as possible, If we hurry, we can probably catch these guys before they get away.

DM Ninja/infinite

Ok, so you're just bursting in? Works for me.

You bash open the door and exit onto a 5' wide balcony overlooking the workroom. As you do, the closest door on the eastern wall flies open and a small figure steps out, shouting down to the workers "That's enough! Do we need to come down there to break this up?"

The sound of the door bursting open draws his attention and he turns, as if to shout at the interruption, then realizes it's not his workers.

"Vorkstag! Intruders!"

Hey look! My plan worked! ;P Whether this is a good plan remains to be seen because...of this image right here. (The bottom left of it actually.)

Gkirkhan grins his wolfish grin before rushing around the balcony aiming to make it to the door that the man had just closed.

Assuming that Gkirkhan has a standard action left. Prepare an attack on the man if he comes through the door, or anything hostile that comes through the door.

Zhiden said nothing, instead opting to stay low and move quietly amongst the others. With any luck, his presence would go unnoticed until the opportune moment.

Stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19

Wood moves to the door and begins summoning a pack of glowing dogs.

Female Half-Elf Bard (Archivist) 5/ Pathfinder Chronicler 1 (hp 49/49; AC 18/14/14; 15/15 rounds)

Vertielle gets ready to aid her comrades when the threat arises.

Position to be able to reach, ready aid to AC first ally attacked with combat expertise.

That might actually hinder them, whoooops

How sturdy do the walls look?

Moving directly towards the door, Wood gestures and enchants.

After the magic is complete, he looks like one of the workers.

disguise self

DM Ninja/infinite

The walls here are masonry (local brick; hardness 5; HP 90; break DC 35).
The doors are good wooden doors (hardness 5; HP 15; break DC 18 -locked-).

Half-orc
Normal:
HP: 14/14 AC 17/13/14: F+3, R +3, W -2, Per:-2, Init: +3

Well so much for that plan.

Gkirkhan waits, but his patience is already played out. He sheathes Sieglinde and grasps Beate with both hands

STR Check: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

"GUTEN TAG!"

The big fighter steps into the doorway, his eyes glowing red.

"Ve haff much to discuss Herr Death-mage."

Male hp 19/36; AC 21/14/19 Level 5 Burglar

Zhiden remains hidden, waiting for someone to move into position where he can reach. When that happens, he would move around their back and plunge his sword in deep.

Holding action until someone gets close, and I'll include an attack in case it happens

After the big fighter takes the door down, the wizard now disguised as a worker completes the arcane spell with a flourish.
A small pea flies into the room and detonated silhouetting Gkirkan in the doorway.

ref DC 18for half: 5d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 6, 6, 5) = 24

1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 celestial dogs rush into the room.

14 short of full, but he hasn't started raging yet.

Male hp 19/36; AC 21/14/19 Level 5 Burglar

I'm not sure, I don't think I've been hit since the phase spider almost got me, so I haven't been updating it for a while, I think I should be at full health though.

Eva casts CLW on Wood

CLW: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

DM Ninja/infinite

Wood:
It might be a good idea to dismiss the enlarge on Rova so he can get up here and join the fight. Currently, he can't fit the balcony.

The room Gkirkhan has just burst into seems as much an abattoir as a bedroom. It appears to be part alchemy lab, part slaughterhouse and part bedroom, containing a four-poster bed, numerous workbenches and alchemical gear. The walls are lined with shelves and strange-looking objects in jars of liquid. Bits of rags litter the floor, and the air is heavy with the stench of spoiled food mixed with acrid chemicals. There is a ladder leading to a trapdoor in the ceiling.
