"Sadly, I can only do this once," the professor mutters as he transfers his spell to the drow. As Balaxxius heads down into the mist, he meets up with Alaric at the entrance to the descending stairs. Peering into the gloom with his keen eyes, Balaxxius sees that the stairs ahead are clogged with thick, ropy strands of what appear to be spiderweb...though the strands are almost as thick around as the dark elf's forearm.

Balaxxius shouts to the top of the stairs, relating the message about the webs.
"that's gotta be one big spider..." he mutters to himself and draws his rapier.
"think we can burn the strands?" He asks to anyone who might answer.
