Hear, hear! I feel very lucky to have selected to play among such talented people.
You could have fooled me about not yet having found Akuleh's voice, though. In fact, I think everyone's characters have well-thought-out voices that befit their personalities. But that's just my 2cp.

I find that I often have to play characters for a couple of levels until they truly find their voice. I think that's natural for most, really. I start out with a rough sketch, and that rough sketch has to bounce around in the world a bit to get fine-tuned into a real personality. Some gel sooner than others, of course.

I find, particularly with Kane, that their voices come to me in the act of actually playing them. The first words out of his mouth were "I hate festivals" and it's like, oh, you're the guy with the stick up his ass. Okay, I can work with that.
Y'all were also fun to read.

Well, I'm in good company in that case. I try to have a pretty good grasp of the voice when I'm writing up the character, but Bela's has been a bit harder for me to find. I think I've almost got it, but I've had to tweak parts of her personality to make it fit better.
Ah well, it's just part of the fun of trying to play 3-dimensional characters. And I look forward to seeing the continued development of everyone's characters.

Just FYI, I came down with a flu over the weekend, so between the headache, the fever and the NyQuil, my posting might be suffering a bit for the next few days. I'll try to stay regular with my updates, but the quality might be a bit lacking.

Just want to point out, Kane never said anything about y'all helping. He was literally only admonishing Kadrian for hanging around at 0 HP rather than retreating.
Edit: On second thought, looking back on it it does seem more like he was criticizing y'all for jumping into the fight in the first place. That was my bad.

I look forward to the back and forth these two 'unstoppable forces'.
"Now he wants our help," Bela quips drily to Kadrian, only to turn her head and notice the man is already vaulting across the stage to face the threat head-on. "Kadrian, don't do anything rash!" she cautions, for all the good it will do. With a resigned sigh, she addresses Father Zantus over her shoulder, keeping her eyes fixed on the advancing pack of goblins. "I should counsel you to go back inside, Father, but I worry some among us may have need of Desna's intervention again quite soon."
Bwahahahahaha! Kadrian still has much to learn!

Hey folks! Just wanted to let you know I'm gonna be out of town for a few days starting tonight. It'll just be over the weekend, and things tend to slow down a bit then anyway, but just wanted to give you a heads up. If the combat moves further along while I'm gone, feel free to bot me. Akuleh will probably stick to using his spear for this fight.

Haha, I didn't think you would, really; I was just teasing. ;) And thank you!
So, who wants to perform the coup de grace if the goblins & worgs don't finish the job?

Are we able to drag Kane away from the worgs? I can't find anything definitive in the rules or on the forum; it seems to be an issue that's mostly house-ruled on when it comes up.
If we could, how would we go about it?

I would treat is as a CMB check to move Kane but it would provoke an AoO from the Worg.

In case it comes up again in the future, who would provoke the AoO, the dragger or the draggee?
Izbela, per these rules for Alchemical Power Components from Adventurer's Armory, if you use a 10gp flask of acid as a focus (i.e. not consumed) for acid splash, you do +1 damage.
Thanks Rak! That's actually one of the things I planned on, but with how little starting gold summoners get and the need to buy Algon a greatsword, it wasn't in the budget at the time. As soon as we get some money and downtime, though, Bela will start creating all sorts of alchemical goodies, so if you guys have anything you'd like, do let me know. =)
And sorry for Bela yelling at Rak. I wanted to properly convey her exhaustion in a way that we women are wont to do. That is, yelling at someone whose fault it isn't.

Hey folks, wanted to let you all know I'm gonna be out of town starting this evening and running through next Tuesday, Oct 11. I'll be fully back online next Wednesday. I'll have my phone with me at least, so I may still be able to put up short posts, but maybe not. I'll do my best at least to keep up with what's going on while I'm gone so I can jump right back in when I return. If we get into any further combat or need some checks and I haven't been posting anything, feel free to bot me.
Thanks!
Also, you folks in and near Matthew stay safe!

@Kane: Now I'm just imagining Kane as a child, just standing stoically in the corner of the playground while all the other kids are running around, screaming their heads off. Haha.

I'm not sure I can. I'd have to adlib a lot of NPC interaction that might veer from the future narative. I will do a recap when Kadrian returns to Sandpoint in the morning.
Sounds like the rest are having a blast in the Rusty Dragon.

That's nothing. Curse of the Crimson Throne features a Harrow reading every book, and every single one when I played it foretold the events of that book, right down to player based ones instead of book based (like a specific character dying).
Harrow gets too spooky.
