Akahale you should have received a +3 to all of your saves from my minor - Shake it off. that should have given you a 10 for your death save, that should work right?

as a move Grafire teleports to dang I cant seem to get a map to show. I need to move away So I can stand. A second wind is a encounter power right? Only 1 per encounter?

As a minor if Akahale gets the death save he can also use the last inspired word -
1 surge + 2d6 ⇒ (6, 1) = 7

After Grafire's teleport his armour glows a bright white light as health returns to the brused dragonborn. Free action Dwarven chainmail 1 free surge. +17hp.

That should put me at 20hp...


Yes, Second Wind is an Encounter Power. You cannot use Inspiring Word on Akahale, as you cannot see him.

No, he can't, sorry. A death save is different to a normal saving throw for the purposes of that power.

But he could have used it to save v either the poison on immobilisation/chaos touched. Saving v the poison would make a difference :) He'd still be immobilsed and chaos-touched at the start of his turn, but he wouldn't have been taking the ongoing.

Ok so what is the check to crawl into the water and try to pull Akahale out of the water? I will try that.
After all he is the center of the investigation. Plus we need every bit of help.

You're not immobilised, so you can indeed dive in. If you look at the Athletics skill description, you'll see what checks are needed. He's currently 10 feet down. The creature in the water has an aura that creates difficult terrain, so it's going to be tricky on the land. As to what it is, Akahale knows, but he's not in a position to tell you right now. And yes, this is a tough encounter. :D

This creature is a powerful servitor of Dagon, sent as a personal representative to his worshippers. The Voice of Dagon (Level 12 Elite Artillery). Large elemental magical beast (demon). Powers - Tentacle (Reach 2) - damage and target is chaos-touched. Tentacle Lash - make 2 Tentacle attacks. Venomous Spit - Ranged 10 - poison damage and target is chaos-touched. Venomous Stream - make 2 Venomous Spit attacks. Dominate - Ranged 10 (target must be humanoid and chaos-touched) Target is Dominated (save ends). Only 1 at a time. Chaos Warp - can cause 1 chaos-touched creature to reroll 1 attack, save or check. Riptide (aura 5) - enemies treat squares as difficult terrain.

Grafire never takes odds in to consideration when friendlies are about to perish. He would do his best to save all of his men no matter the odds. After letting one fall already... well enough is enough.

"Stare death straight in the eyes to let it know whats commin for it. Thats what pops always said and so it shall be...Besides this is exactly the time for a hero." The warlord says out loud. "Oh and the pillars they must be teleporters. Use them effectivly." He calls out the rest of the party.

Against the odds of survival the warlord crawls over to the water and slides in.

Since I am right next to him and prone it should be relitivly easy. 2 sqrs of movement is counted. Or is that considered to be a shift so there would be no OA.

Stowing his trusty axe, Grafire crawls doggedly away from this opponent, dodging a skewering, and dives into the water! He spies the unconscious form of his fellow dragonborn and grabs hold of the little warlock.

Another Athletics check to get to the surface (using second move action) - please roll, Grafire.

Sinking once more, his eyes whirling madly, he curses the abominable Voice and chants words that chill the blood in the veins of his companions even as they are rendered incomprehensible by water filling his mouth.

"Your reign here will end. You will return to the dark, bound for all eternity to your hellish master."

Eldritch Blast (Ref) - no point in rolling a daily or encounter while he's Chaos-Touched.
