Ameo Wanstell
I believe we have spent enough time in this room. Perhaps it is time to find away out of this prison.
Ameo Wanstell
I took draconic so we can communicate. I am going to play it like he is just figuring out the language.
Me speak beast words, learn. Learn by listen.
Skyscale
Like Calista! Skyscale responds quickly. Skyscale determines to buckle down and listen more intently to what Calista says and how she adjusts it for the others.
of note. Skyscale's name is a portmanteau of two words in Draconic. Skyscale or just 'sky' is significantly easier, and would be the literal translation. :)
Skyscale
Skyscale looks quite pleased about Ameo's sudden determination to educate himself in all things important. He begins to point out objects, and use the words he uses for them... such as 'thunder-club', 'egg-armour', 'hoard'(his crate)... the list goes on, the Dragon babbling away in Draconic. If he doesn't have a name for something, he immediately makes one up.
He also makes sure to show the others that he can safely hold the thunder-club by the lightning part. That might be important later!
Ameo Wanstell
Ameo touches the armor that he is wearing and says "eg-mour". Then points to the crate. Harrdd
Skyscale
Skyscale nods enthusiastically.
Skyscale
Just to make sure, there were no other doors during sky's flyover, right?
Once translated, Skyscale will bob his head. "Yes, let's go back through the secret door. We should close it behind us."
Skyscale
"Or the other door. But we should close this door, first."
Korash the Spiky
Korash grumbles and says some words in Draconic; no particularly intersting words.
"Maybe... search for something not a monster? Or food?"
Miss Isabela Calista De-Romano
The door behind us closed as we came in, did it close of the walking tank headed off GM?
Isabela stops and looks at the three,
That was fast, could the suits add cognition of languages as well??? humm. Blood Clan tech after all maybe
"Good we can all use the Dragon speech to talk now, the could be the suits or my mental powers leaking past the Psionic/mind/thinking blocks"
She holds her gun, then talks into her suit, not to the group but to others.
"This is Isabela Calista De-Romano, I am a Diplomat for the Unholy Star Blood Clans, if you our capturers can hearing this communication, make yourselves known as once, or be advised, we will be coming to find you!"
She looks at the group,
"Well 'IF' they can hear us they have been asked nicely. So if we have all we can take, Lets go"
She starts walking off to the other door.
GM did she find a smaller postal? or a means for the suit to hold the guns in place? She will keep some Skill points unspent then for when and if she finds a way to understand the local Lingo
Skyscale
Skyscale rushes forward to lead the way. No sense in having the puny squishy red thing collect all the damage of whatever they run into. That was clearly a job for Draconic Fortitude™.
Ameo Wanstell
follow will I, be, wall door, Skyscale. On word
I hope I said that correctly
It is obvios that Ameo attempts the dragon tongue but isn't quit there yet.
Korash the Spiky
Korash will follow, taking no suits or weapons with him.
Skyscale
With his entourage in tow, Skyscale would prance straight to the door and touch the panel beside it, depressing it slightly. Skyscale knew what was up, now. He was clever. At least... assuming there -is- another panel...
Vrog Skyreaver
After several minutes of walking across the armory, you arrive at the door which appears the same as the door you used to enter this room. Skyscale gives the metal piece a gentle push, and the door slides open, revealing an area identical to the antechamber that lead to the armory.
This room is completely dark, and also has doors leading to each of the four cardinal directions. The only difference to this room, however, is that there is no scrolling red lights in the wall. None of the other doors have light showing through them here.
Skyscale
Skyscale looked to Calista. She'd been upset by the darkness earlier, and while he was curious why this area was different, he didn't want to force her to go in. Despite this, his feet kept propelling him into the darkness. He listened for anything of interest as he entered the room... slowly looking away from Isabel into the new, dark room.
perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19
Ameo Wanstell
Taking a quick look around Ameo gets the feeling that the group is walking around a maze. He then Casts dancing lights, so everyone else can see.
perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (10) + 15 = 25
Skyscale
Skyscale bounces excitedly, jostling the objects in his hoard around noisily, as a direct result of the sudden creation of the dancing lights. He follows them in, happily. Calista just said that they weren't allowed to go into the places that didn't have light. The pink scaleless creature was a true friend of Dragonkind.
Miss Isabela Calista De-Romano
Calista checks her suits HUD, if they had made them to work high lighting things it sees, then lack of light should not be a problem.
She loots to see if ant new icons/text/runes have come on winking etc
she also has her gun up ready and charged.
gm a asked if her powers where still blocked? she was trying to bring one up, internal armour while walking. She wants to know dis the siut link to the implants.
Korash the Spiky
Korash, as always, is wary and distrustful of his new surroundings.
Perception: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (19) + 17 = 36
Miss Isabela Calista De-Romano
There are currently no Icons in your vision, although you would almost suspect that it has more to do with hardware malfunction than your vision itself. Whatever is happening here, it seems to be causing issues throughout the prison you currently find yourself in.
Sorry that is not very clear, have to suits and guns stopped working??? once we enter the dark space?? if so do the implants stop blocking?? if not she would stop if the HUD and gun just stops workingand go back to the main room.
Vrog Skyreaver
things are still working, they are just no active icons in the new area. No power either. Oh, and for what it's worth, those of you who have the orbs active on you can see in the dark just fine. The part about hardware malfunction has to do with the fact that none of the icons that should be active in this room are working.
Skyscale
Alrighty, that's what I'd assumed until Cali pointed out the other possibility that I completely overlooked; that all of the tech just -shut down- when we entered the area.
"If there are straight lines here. Left may loop around back to beside the large hoard. We should find a way to mark where we have gone. I do not think my claws can pierce the walls and floors. And walking in circles is very boring, we will see nothing new."
Ameo Wanstell
Speaking in Draconic - I agree. Symbol show path.
Ameo walks up next to the door they came in. On the wall just left of it he shoots sparks at it several times forming the shape of a star. [cast the 0-level spell spark]
Skyscale
Many spidercats were destroyed when we unleashed the deathbot. Well, when you did. I'm sure some have evaded it, if their numbers were high... however, I don't think they'll be messing with us much, especially if they have a hive-mind. They know we're not prey. :P
Skyscale
After the door is marked, Skyscale heads to the door on the left. He wants to figure out all the main passages that lead to his new hoard. He taps the panel on the wall... And travels on. If it opens.
What autocorrect? :3
Skyscale
Skyscale uses his Draconic might to try to help the door finish opening! If he fails... He simply tries another door!
Skyscale
Skyscale waits for Calista to do her thing, watching curiously, foreclosed still curled around the top of the door.
Vrog Skyreaver
There are no icons being generated by anything in the antechamber you currently find yourselves in. I had thought I said that before, I apologize if I did not.
The other door is the one opposite the one you entered this area from, or the one opposite the door the Skyscale is currently standing in front of?
Skyscale
you did. They might have been thinking things might change when you try to get the thing to work. Also, I envisioned just the next door over, but it's Calista's action :p
Miss Isabela Calista De-Romano
This room is completely dark, and also has doors leading to each of the four cardinal directions. The only difference to this room, however, is that there is no scrolling red lights in the wall. None of the other doors have light showing through them here.
I meant post door opening GM on the Icon front, with 3 doors, and one we came in with Sky has opened one, it failed, now Calista has opened another and there is one more still closed. Ill go opposite door from sky
Calista waits for the door to open.
Skyscale
there are 4 doors total, one at each cardinal direction. :) Ah, and you're trying to see what the 'words' on the doors look like..?
Skyscale
North, south, east, and west. Let's say we came from the east, just now. Sky went to south. If you went opposite sky, then you went 'north'.
Vrog Skyreaver
Pushing the button on the northern door causes it to slide down, then almost immediately slide back up. It does this twice (slide down, then up) and the slides down one final time with a rather ominously loud *THUD*. The hallway beyond is unlit, and feels slightly warmer than the room you currently find yourself in.
Skyscale
Sky bounces a little, once more, showing his excitement. "You are a truly good door opener, Calista." He says as he leads the way into the new, warmer, hallway... moving past her to be the draconic wall of flesh that he is. He keeps his eyes open for more panels, anything shiny, and especially anything along the lines of 'light'.
Ameo Wanstell
Well anywhere but here.
Follow big beast, he find way.
Ameo quickly marks the door then proceeds to follow Skyscale.
Miss Isabela Calista De-Romano
So orb suit uses have night vision, this means no hall way is dark to us just unlit yes. So description. Next I will take it that unless you say GM there are new icons popping up in the nod [like a rad counter] then there are none.
"WAIT! you two come back!!, NO we don't go that way. Think, 'IF' the big red flashing lights are warning lights, they could very well be FIRE or Radiation warning lights. The one thing you do NOT do in a FIRE or Radiation event is run to [unknown word] heat source. Hot corridor makes me think any possible FIRE or Radiation is that way. IF there IS a fire or Radiation leek that would explain why we have found no one in this building. They have left very fast. Why?, because atomic power comes in two kinds, fusion reactors that just go's off when they brakes and nuclear reactor that go's VERY VERY VERY BIG BOOM! when they brake. My people stop using using nuclear reactors 1000's of years ago, because they go BOOM so [unknown word] offend, and when I say BOOM I mean, no more city kind of BOOM! So that way no."
She go's over to the next 1d2 ⇒ 1 take you pick GM door and opens that.
