Elsa is unaffected.
Lilly Hennett
Looking both left and right.
"So...where are we headed? This place is a dump, the cell was even in a more maintained condition."
GM Chyro
Heading to your left, Father Burdock and Sabel can see two double doors.
Both of which are slightly ajar, lighting is seemingly dim beyond the doors. A sort of iron ring hangs on the wall, it looks like it could be pulled.
GM Chyro
Will Lyssa: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11 > Shaken
Will Sabel: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 > Okay.
Sabel: "I don't like it down here. It's too quiet, is anybody even down here?"
Lilly Hennett
*twitch*
"...the atmosphere, it is paling if presented next to what could be.
Utter oblivion....."
Yes, the shy crazy's back.
Jadwiga Elsa Harcatha
Elsa narrows her eyes at the insane woman... We are led by the insane into a place of depravity and horror...the life of adventure I guess.
Grint Mavric
Grint heads over to the left door and foregoes the pulling of the ring.
"Let's get this over with. Left one first okay? We'll do the right one after that."
"Shall I do the honours?"
If no one else wants to take point Grint readies his bow and pushes the door open with his foot.
GM Chyro
Grint sees the vague outlining of a desk and a bookcase.
He also notices a pile of something to his left. Those with improved vision see it's a pile of junk, such as tiny metal fragments, pieces of medical equipment & loose materials.
GM Chyro
Well...nothing in 12 hours.
With Grint having opened the door and nothing happening, Lyssa quickly walks into the room.
"Well if it's quiet, time to search the room."
As she touches the desk however....., those with special vision see the rubble and scrap come together and rise up to form a rough humanoid figure.
This is a junk golem. Made from debris and scrap, this type of golem can also inflict disease, due to rusted and/or filthy materials. This one seems a lesser variant.

Elsa casts light on.. Grint's bow?
Sabel will cast light on her shield.
Grint & Father Burdock
Junk golem
Junk golems can spontaneously dissolve, turning into a swarm of infectious bits.
When in an area with a lot of junk or debris, they can, to some degree, rejuvenate themselves with those materials.
Father Burdock
"Poor pile of scrap; not made to what you could have been.", Burdock lamenting as he moves up to swing his hammer.
Hammer @ junk: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

I'll bot Grint on this round if he doesn't post by 9 PM.
GM Chyro
Here's another one, shape wood deals damage to a junk golem.
Grint steps 5ft forward and unleashes his routine.
Rapid, PBS, deadly aim: 1d20 + 6 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (14) + 6 + 1 - 1 = 20 Dmg: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Rapid, PBS, deadly aim: 1d20 + 6 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 6 + 1 - 1 = 22 Dmg: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
He hits twice, but the damage seems less than expected.
In retaliation to Lyssa's impulsive attack, the golem swings two arms her way.
Slam: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21Dmg+disease: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Slam: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20Dmg+disease: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Elsa manages a hit with cold energy.
Sabel casts guidance on Grint
Grint shoots another two arrows, but for only minimal damage.
Father Burdock
Junk golem
GM Chyro
As Father Burdock heals Lyssa, the golem begins to shake.
It suddenly falls apart into a 10x10ft blanket of debris and scrap. The parts don't stay still, as they start swarming Father Burdock and Lyssa.

Lyssa nods in thanks for the healing, but frowns as she now has nothing to hit. She 5ft steps back, grabs a flask of acid from her pack and throws it. "Sorry for the itch that'll come."
Touch: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 4, 6 dmg to the swarm and 1 to Father Burdock.
Elsa's turn.
Sabel refreshes guidance on Grint and takes distance.

GM Chyro
With a proper aimed flask of acid, Father Burdock corrodes the swarm to stop moving.
Combat over.
One of the bookcases holds material on the asylum's history, more specifically it's engineering and construction.
Dwarves, historians or engineers would likely pay well for this knowledge.
The other bookcase has books on anatomy and how to apply foreign materials, such as metal, to some parts. The page marker is a scalpel.
It leaves little imagination whose private study this is.
2 small wooden chests Break DC17 or disable device 20 stand against the wall where Grint took position. 1 is unlocked and empty.
Several pouches of assorted coins, worth 1000gp.
2 scrolls of lesser confusion.
Mwk Scalpel Treat as mwk dagger.
Manacles
Sabel comes up to Lyssa and casts a CLW for Heal: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 hp.
GM Chyro
Well....i'll push forward then.
Lyssa tries to force open the chest, assuming she takes 10 and you help, she forces it open to find spoilered content.
"Oh, scalpels, great. I guess this room is used by that weird nurse woman."
Sabel packs the historybooks.
Lyssa: "Well, there was another room to the east, best we check that one out, so nothing comes from behind our backs later." She heads over, waiting for Father Burdock to be at her side. "I can't see in the dark."
She pushes open the door, the room is dimly lit.
You immediately notice a headless corpse sitting against what seems like prison cells or pens dead ahead. It wears the uniform of another unfortunate orderly, showing more bitemarks.
Father Burdock
Burdock helps Lyssa open the chest and taking the gear.
Burdock will also top himself off: CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Following the party, he takes the lead in the darkened chamber. Seeing the headless corpse in the back pen, he looks for a small object and tosses it at the body to make sure it's not reanimated like the others.
GM Chyro
A piece of metal coming from the lock ends up near the legs of the headless corpse. It remains motionless, something else doesn't, as two other victims come into view. Along with something weird, it looks a bit like a blue lion with tentacles for manes.

Grint shoots two arrows, but the cover of his friends standing in the way make the shot miss just barely.
Sabel moves up to behind Lyssa and stretches to touch the chain of Lyssa's holy symbol, providing light on the front line.
Lyssa throws punches at the thing.
