She groans, then moves up to the robot and clicks the buttons on her pulse gauntlet. It crackles with electricity, then lets out a surge of power. Casting jolting surge, which doesn't provoke. Then trying to touch him with it.

Kit pulls herself up to standing and shakes her head. She mutters under her breath, "Stupid robots."

Looking at Vagoru, Kit asks, "Hey Vyun! Got any of that nasty zohaq stuff left?"

You make your way through the rest of Alpha sector on your way to Zeta sector.
The AI starts to describe the sector: "Each of the divisions of this section is dedicated to manufacturing machines that make equipment needed for everything from durable goods to foodstuffs, clothing, and other necessities used for both colonization and the running of the station. The only items not made here are robots and vehicles.
The buildings come in a variety of shapes, but all have automated assembly lines, and most have adjoining warehouses for finished products, as well as short-term supplies of raw materials. Power plants are also found throughout this sector, as the power demands of this area will be substantial when colonization demands their full capacity. All of these facilities are serviced by robots, with only occasional and minimal attention being required by humans, and only then to repair or respond to unforeseen problems and conditions.
The thoroughfares between the buildings in this area are broad and flat, measuring no less than 60 feet in width to allow for the easy passage of robotic delivery vehicles and attendants. There is little ornamentation, although each of the buildings in this sector carries a sign identifying it for me—the Zeta symbol followed by grid coordinates."

Hearing the sound, Kit quickly chugs down a few gulps of Vyun's moonshine, then passes the flask back to him.
"Ahh!" she exclaims, managing not to cough this time from the potent flavour.
Then she cracks her neck this way and that and gives her shoulders a shake.
"Okay! I'm ready to walk into another death trap... Here we go! We've got this..."
She seems to be trying to psyche herself up.
"Ah, screw it."
Kit heads towards the sound like an idiot.

Bronen reaches out his big hand to ask Kit to wait but she is already off again. Shaking his head, he sighs and moves to catch up and flank her with Dronen.

As the characters round a corner they will see that the door of one of the warehouses has burst open near the bottom.
A number of baseball-sized round objects litter the area outside of the rupture. The crashing noise continues at regular intervals, and you can now identify its source. A warehouse door has been pushed outwards, and tumbling through the opening thus created are a number of round, fistsized objects. The nearest lies thirty feet from where you stand.

Bronen pokes one of the spheres until he sees that the round object is perfectly spherical, with a small red button near one end. Stenciled in small letters near the button is this warning: “Danger: HA Explosive”

Bronen looks at the device not sure how it works, just by looking at it. He then picks up the object and you can see that the metal casing is of a new composite and the red light on top of it starts to flash.

I'm not misreading that, am I? He didn't touch the button, but it started to blink as soon as he touched the device? But they weren't blinking when they fell onto the floor? Or am I confused?
"Let's get the supplies and get back to the pod." she eventually remarks. "Before all those bombs decide to explode."
